There was a glowing orb around her, she shined like the moon. Long white feathers with teal tips. I reached out to touch them but when I felt the soft warmth she backed up. "Wait! Don't-"

"SIR?!?!" Huh, what? Oh crap that's right I'm still at work. I had fallen asleep at the counter again. "Sorry ma'am, what will you be needing this mornin?"

"A new brain." "Don't we all?" We both laughed and talked for a couple of minutes before she remembered why she was actually here.

"Anyway, my son needs a new Ak-47. Do you sell those?" My eyes widened at such an unusual request. I looked at her strangely. She could not have been more than 25. "Well why does he be needing that for?"

"For homework." I wanted to dwell more into this but if I don't make more sales this month I'll lose the shop.

Not for money reasons but my daddy always said that if I don't sell 10 guns a month he'll take the shop away from me.

And the shop was my pride and joy, so I couldn't let that happen.

"Well as long as you got the right papers I can sell it to ya." "Papers? Papers?!? What kind of papers do yas need for a frilly little gun?!?!"

By now she was shouting at me. An Ak-47, a frilly LITTLE gun?!?! Who does she think she is mother Mary herself?!?

"The kind of papers that allows you to buy a 'Frilly little gun'. Such as a license to carry an Ak-47."

"Do not get smart with me young man!" She had started pointing a finger at me. "I will pull you over this counter and put you over my knee! You are never too old to be disciplined!"

I was astonished at her. "Fine!" I picked up the Ak-47 and placed it on the counter. "Three hundred dollars!" Her eyes widened at the large gun in front of her.

"That much for a just a toy?!? That's insane! But nothings too expensive for my Joshie. Here." She handed me three hundreds and walked out of the store.

A toy...? I walked back to the break room and sat down reading a book.

"Anastasia", he whispers. "What are you doing to me?" "I could say the same to you," I whisper back.

Then a sharp pain on the back of my head. And darkness.
