A story which follows Herz, a young millers daughter, who accidentally makes the King fall in love with her. As Herz becomes queen of the kingdom, she is faced with many struggles: a not-so-friendly step-daughter, the responsibilities of being a queen, and dealing with the voices in her head.
Well, in the beginning that's what she thought they were.
