What I see and what I hear
Gets reflected back through the mirror
What comes back is a strangled sound
Begging to be break free of this shell

Trapped in a confined place so small
Afraid that you will make me fall
Like you did a thousand times before
And locked me up in this hell hole

I was a fool everyone said
But I was a fool only for you
Till you threw me out onto the streets
And made me a fool in front of the world

Now I am alone
With my thoughts, my realizations
And my dreams
I will cherish the time with you forever
But at last I am free
