Hamida's wedding is in 2days. Mum is waiting for you to decide. As for me, I have agreed to do do whatever she wants. What choice do I have?" Junior chuckled, staring at the wall. "I am living in her husband's house. She can decide to throw me out anytime"

Sameer look at him briefly and shake his head. So Junior can be this calm? Is this the Junior he knows? It's a pity Junior has to go through something like this all because of that evil woman. It is surprising her husband doesn't know about all those things. "I honestly don't know if I can do it. I don't think I am that heartless"

"She actually gave me these pills" Junior gave the pills to Sameer who was frowning his face. "She said we should take it an hour or 30 minutes before if we feel bad about the whole thing"

"What is this again?" Sameer asked, staring at the pills.

"I don't know because I didn't ask her. I think we should take it that day. Look, I act heartless sometimes but I am not that kind of person. I care about people"

"And why are you telling me this?" Sameer rolled his eyes and hiss out loud.

"Because I feel everyone has that impression about me. They all think I am heartless, evil and every other thing. I am not like that"

"Go straight to the point"

"I also feel bad about this. I feel bad I have to hurt Ruqayya and Farida. They are like my sisters and I care about them"

"Since when did you start caring? Can you just stop pretending? You are annoying me. Please leave my room, I will tell her if I am ready to do whatever she wants.

Junior nodded and left the room. He doesn't want to argue with his brother.

"The cameras in the living room are all off so you don't have to worry about anything. The both of you should go to the venue together but leave there separately. You should go there before me. I will come with others, understood?"

"Yes" Sameer and Junior both nodded and opened the door. Sameer went out of the room, colliding with Ruqayya. He shared a look with Junior and quickly apologized. The duo left and Ruqayyah entered the room. Her aunt called her to come to her room.

"You called me to come and see you"

"Yes I did. Your mum told me you are not going with us"

"Yes I feel sick"

"Have you taken any drug? How do you feel? Maybe you should go to the clinic. I can take you if you want" Adama mentally rolled her eyes. She hates it when she has to pretend she cares about Ruqayyah.

"No don't worry about it"

"Are you sure?" She asked to which Ruqayyah nodded.

"We will come back later Insha Allah. Make sure you lock the door when we leave." Adama put on her shoe and carried her veil.

"Okay" Ruqayyah nodded and left the room.

"Here are the keys" Adama handed over the keys to Ruqayyah and entered the car. They drive off leaving only her in the house. They reached the venue sooner than anticipated.

The dinner started immediately they reached. "I like the decoration here" Husseina said to which she nodded. "I like it too. It looks simple and beautiful" She continue eating the small chops that was brought to their table earlier. The small chops taste very good. Husseina told her the small chops was ordered from Meena's bite. She will surely patronize her. She carried her phone that was on the table and text Junior. She told them to go home and she will find a way to send Farida to them.

"I will be right back" Adama excused herself and left her sisters table. She went to the ladies table and called Yusra.

"Do you need something?" Yusra asked

"I forgot to bring the flash. Remember Hamida's childhood pictures and videos we are suppose to play right? I left the flash at home. Can you help me get it please?"

"Okay no problem. I will quickly drive home and get it"

"I don't want you to drive by this time of the night. Adnan will take you home and I think I overheard Farida saying she also forgot something at home, but I am not sure"

"Let me go and ask her then" 

"Just look for Adnan and I will go and ask her. Take the key" Adama forced a smile and walk away. The flash containing the pictures is with her. The one at home contains nothing. She doesn't want anything to go wrong today. She saw Farida talking to Adnan and quickly walked to their table.

"You both look very good together" Adama smiled at them which was a fake one. "Just like a couple"

Farida blushed and quickly look down. Adnan simply smiled back at her. Maybe his aunt knows what is going on between them.

"Are you two dating?" Adama asked, innocently.

Adnan gulped nervously while Farida was surprised Adama asked them a question like that. The last thing they both want is the woman standing in front of them to know they are dating.

"No we are not" they both replied.

Adama nodded but she wasn't convinced. There is clearly something happening between the two. "I want you to drive Yusra home. I forgot something at home so she wants to get it for me" she said referring to Adnan. "Your girlfriend here looks sad you will leave her here so she can follow you" Adama chuckled, looking at Farida and Adnan. The duo chuckled nervously.

"We are not dating" they both said earning a fake smile from Adama. She excused herself and left to their table. She sat down close to her sisters and kept a close watch on Adnan and Farida. If Adnan happens to like Farida, then her plan will get ruined. They both left the venue with Yusra. Adama texted Junior to inform him they are coming already.

"Where is Ruqayyah? Are you sure she is in the house?" Sameer asked Junior making sure he is not too loud.

"She must be upstairs. Let's just do what we are here for. Mum said we should keep her out of this if she doesn't come downstairs"

"Okay" Sameer sighed and sat down quietly.

"Mum just texted me. She said Yusra, Adnan and Farida are on their way. We should get ready" Junior gulped, nervously.

"Ready? What are we getting ready for again?"

"Uhm... I don't even know. This is harder than I thought"

"Why is mum doing this to us? Is it too late to back out?" Sameer closed his eyes briefly. He doesn't think he will be able to do anything today.

"Let's us just do what is expected of us"

"You know I am not surprised by that statement right? You don't have human feelings so this nonsense we are about to do will look right to you. How did you even become my brother? Oh, I forgot you are a bastard"

"Sameer stop,  just stop"

"Stop what?" Sameer knows he is pressing the wrong button, but who cares?

"Excuse me" Junior left the living room because he isn't in the mood to argue with Sameer. Just in time,  the gate man opened the gate. Adama actually bribed the gateman so he is aware if everything that is happening. Junior quickly ran back to the living room and shared a look with Sameer.

"Should we hide?" Sameer asked, breathing heavily.

"What was the plan? Did she say we should wait for them in the living room?"

"How am I suppose to know?" Sameer hiss out in frustration. They both glared at each other until Yusra opened the door which brought them back to their senses.

"You both are here?" Yusra asked, surprised to see them in the house.

"Ye-yes we came to pick something" Junior lied

"I also came to pick something for your mum so we can all go back together. Adnan and Farida are outside waiting so you both can join them outside, but I need a favor before you go"

"What is that?" Junior asked

"I need those drugs you guys gave me the other day, please" She beseeched to which they nodded. They don't have time to say no to her.

"Go and get what you came here for then come back downstairs for it, but you can't take it now. You will have to take it after the party, okay?" Junior asked to which she nodded, sheepishly. She left the living to go get the flash. Her aunt told her the flash is in Aliya's room so she went there straight.

"I just thought of something. How about we take drugs so we can get high?" Junior suggested

"Do you even know what you are saying? You know we can't control ourselves after taking it. What if we do something we are not suppose to do?"

"You are not getting me, Sameer. We need something that will make us high!"

"What if we get out of control?"

"What is that?" Farida asked, walking into the living room. The two brothers shared a look and gave her a fake smile

"I am surprised to see you both here. I thought you were at the venue"

"Uhm.. we came back home to pick something" Sameer said the first thing that came to his mind

"Ye-yes he is right"

"Okay, but why were you guys arguing? Is there a problem?"

"There is no problem. We-we were just talking about something when you came in"  Junior lied.

"Okay" She nodded "where is Ruqayya? Is she upstairs?" Farida asked. She remembered Ruqayyah is upstairs so she came to convince her to go back to the dinner with them.

The two brothers quickly stopped her "You can't go upstairs"

"Why?" Farida frowned

"Uhm..." Sameer gulped "she is presently sleeping. She was having headache when we came back home so she went upstairs to sleep"

"Sameer is right. She even told us not to let anyone disturb her"

Farida gave them a confused look and shrugged. She doesn't understand why the brothers are acting strange. Ruqayya does not really talk to them so she couldn't possibly say that. "I feel like you guys are hiding something. Is Ruqayya okay?" Farida questioned

"Yes-yes, she is perfectly okay" Sameer replied, sweating.

"I don't trust you both. I will go and confirm" Farida shake her head and walk away from the living room. Junior quickly followed her and injected a drug into her right shoulder. Junior quickly covered her mouth with his hand before she could shout. She tried shouting for help, but she couldn't say anything. She fell to the ground due to how weak her body suddenly became. She tried to keep her eyes open, but she ended up closing them.

Sameer opened his mouth in shock. What the hell did his brother just do?

"Mum gave me that syringe and told me to inject it into her shoulder incase if there is any problem" Junior explained to his brother. Sameer shake his head, staring at his brother. His mother is a devil. Only a devil will plan something so well.

"Wha-what did you just do? What did you do to her? What did you do to Farida?" Adnan questioned, staring at Farida that was on the floor.

Sameer took in a deep breath. Why must Adnan be here at this moment? Why didn't he just remain outside?

"Look it is not what you think. We didn't do anything to her"

"What do I think, Junior? Tell me, what do I think?" Adnan walked closer to them "I just saw you inject something into her body and she became unconscious and you are telling me it is not what I think. What have you done to her?"

"I-I didn't do anything to her" Junior denied

"Tell me why you injected her or I will tell everyone what you did"

"I have something for you, Adnan" Junior changed the topic, knowing Adnan will be interested in whatever he is about to say

"What is that?"
