Good morning

The towering glass cell filled with swirling red and black liquid dominated the center of the room. It pulsed with an eerie light, casting strange shadows along the stark white walls. The liquid inside resembled melted computer chips, their circuits and components broken down into a viscous, flowing substance.

Y/N stood before the cell, his eyes wide with a mix of fascination and apprehension.

Suddenly, without warning, the cell shuddered violently. Hairline cracks spider-webbed across the glass surface, growing rapidly. Y/N took a step back, his heart pounding in his chest. He barely had time to react before the glass shattered with a deafening explosion, sending shards flying through the air.

The red and black liquid burst forth like a dam breaking, drenching Y/N in its fiery embrace. He screamed in agony, the substance searing his skin, feeling as though it was both burning and integrating with his flesh. It crept under his skin like a thousand tiny invaders, settling deep within his tissues.

Overwhelmed by the intense pain and shock, Y/N staggered backwards. The room spun around him, the walls seeming to tilt and twist. His legs buckled, and he found himself falling, the floor beneath him giving way to darkness. He plummeted into a deep pit, the light from the lab fading into a distant speck above as he descended into the unknown depths, his consciousness slipping away under the weight of transformation and terror.

Y/N's eyes snapped open, his breath ragged and heavy in the silence of the night. Sweat drenched his skin, the sheets clung to him, and his heart thudded painfully against his ribs. It took him a moment, his mind still swirling with the horrors of his dream, to realize that he was safe in his own bed.

Turning his head, he caught sight of Lois Lane, peacefully asleep beside him. Her presence was a calming anchor, grounding him back to reality. The soft rise and fall of her chest, the gentle sounds of her breathing, and the faint moonlight casting a serene glow over her features helped soothe the raw edges of his panic.

Y/N let out a shaky breath, trying to erase the vivid images of the dream from his mind. He watched Lois for a few moments, grateful for her mere presence, which always seemed to bring him a sense of peace that was rare in his tumultuous life. Careful not to disturb her, Y/N slowly laid back down, drawing comfort from the warmth of her beside him. As he closed his eyes, he focused on her steady breathing.

Y/N let his gaze drift to his hands, the moonlight catching the faint lines that crisscrossed his skin—a constant reminder of the day that changed everything. He could still remember the cold, sterile air of the laboratory, the hum of machinery that filled the room, and the nervous excitement that had tightened his chest.

As the technology fused with his body, it felt like fire and ice coursing through his veins simultaneously. Every cell in his body had screamed in protest, his very DNA altered in ways that human science barely understood. When it was over, he wasn't just himself anymore; he was something else—Malware, they called him, a fusion of man and machine, capable of miraculous and terrifying things.

His thoughts inevitably shifted to Lois. She knew him as Y/N, the man she loved, not entirely aware of the depth of his past as Malware. He had shielded her from the darkest parts of his history, fearful of how it might change the way she saw him. But as their relationship grew deeper, the weight of his unshared truths felt heavier.

He soon fell fast asleep.

The shrill beep of the alarm sliced through the quiet morning, pulling Lois from her dreams.

Lois: Today's the day!

She jabbed at the alarm clock several times, the stubborn device resisting until finally, it silenced.

Lois is a tan-skinned young woman of Korean descent with a slender-yet-athletic body frame, with golden-brown eyes and pixie cut-styled dark brown hair.

Lois turned to Y/N, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm as she shook him gently.

Lois: Wake up, wake up! Today's the day we've been waiting for!

Y/N, still groggy from his earlier restless thoughts, blinked the sleep from his eyes and focused on Lois's radiant face. Her excitement was infectious, and a smile began to form on his lips as he propped himself up on one elbow, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

Y/N: What's today?

Lois: Today's the day we become real reporters. I'm going to tell Perry what I have, and he's going to love it.

Lois's excitement was infectious as she pulled Y/N out of bed, planting a kiss on his cheek.

Lois: Let's practice what I'm going to say to Mr. White. I want it to be perfect.

Y/N blinked, the sudden change in focus jolting him awake fully.

Y/N: Okay, Lois.

Despite his own nerves, he was determined to support her in any way he could.

Lois: We're going to be extraordinary! Ok, here I go. Mr. White. Thank you for calling me in today, because I've got one heck of a story for you. Pew-pew!

She was punctuating her words with playful finger guns before catching herself.

Lois: No, don't do that to your boss.

She added with a chuckle, realizing the informal gesture might not be appropriate for the professional setting.

Y/N couldn't help but smile at Lois's enthusiasm, her energy contagious even in the early hours of the morning.

Y/N began his usual morning routine. He shuffled into the kitchen. The sound of the coffee machine humming to life was a comforting soundtrack to the start of his day.

With his coffee brewing, Y/N made his way to the bathroom. He stripped off his pajamas and stepped into the welcoming cascade of hot water, feeling the tension melt away from his muscles with each passing minute.

After his shower, Y/N took his time getting dressed, selecting clothes that offered both comfort and practicality for the day ahead. He glanced at himself in the mirror, taking a moment to straighten his appearance before heading back to the kitchen to retrieve his freshly brewed coffee.

Lois sat at her desk, a flurry of activity surrounding her as she meticulously jotted down notes and ideas for her meeting with Mr. White.

Lois: Okay, Lois, you've got this. Start strong, lead with the headline. Get his attention right off the bat.

She glanced down at her notes, her brow furrowing slightly as she considered her opening line.

With a quick glance at the clock, Lois's eyes widened in alarm as she realized they were running behind schedule. Without hesitation, she sprang into action, leaping up from her desk and rushing over to where Y/N stood, still in the midst of his morning routine.

Lois: Y/N, we're late! We don't have time for breakfast. We need to go, now!

Y/N blinked in surprise, caught off guard by Lois's sudden urgency. He opened his mouth to protest, but before he could utter a word, Lois was already pulling him towards the door with an unyielding determination.

As Lois's urgency registered in Y/N's mind, he felt a surge of anxiety creeping in. Abrupt changes to his routine always unsettled him, and the sudden disruption to his morning ritual left him feeling disoriented and off-balance.

Y/N: But...breakfast? I... I need my coffee. Food too.

But Lois was already pulling him along, her determination unwavering as she propelled them towards the door. Y/N felt a pang of frustration and helplessness, his mind racing to catch up with the rapid pace of events unfolding around him.

With a resigned sigh, Y/N followed Lois out the door.

Y/N: Do you think... maybe we could grab breakfast somewhere else? I, uh, I really need my coffee and... it's part of my routine.

He shifted nervously on his feet, his gaze flickering between Lois and the bustling street ahead. The thought of facing the day on an empty stomach and without his usual morning pick-me-up filled him with a sense of dread, but he knew that Lois was in a hurry and didn't want to cause any further delay.

Y/N: I mean, we could still make it on time if we just... find a quick place nearby.

She gently placed a reassuring hand on Y/N's arm, her touch grounding him with its gentle familiarity.

Lois: You know what, Y/N? We do have a little time. Let's find a place for breakfast, okay? Your routine is important, and I want you to feel comfortable.

Y/N felt a rush of relief flood through him at her words.
