Zana POV

I have been stressing, again, for a while. Ever since that dream happened, I couldn't sleep. It has been a week and 3 days since then which also means that...Dalton has 18 days. I visit him constantly and we're both tired. We may have been a pain for four years of my life, but I...don't want to go against it anymore.

I lazily get up and stretch. I look at my calendar to see that it is a Saturday and that means that the Halloween Party at school is on Monday as the actual Halloween is the day after. I sigh and walk over to my desk. I unplug my phone and look to see a ton of texts messages by the group. I read a couple before replying.

Daven: It's almost Halloween! But, my first the Halloween Party! I can't wait!

Lafayette: ew grammor

Daven: *grammar*

Zara: Yup what are you guys gonna be?

Zara: I plan to be the cleo de nile from monster high school

Daven: Cool! I plan to be a cat!

Mulligan: Nothing

Lafayette: Boo

Martin: Nothing too

Lafayette: Boo again

Daven: Yeah...You guys have to wear something this year. We are also in high school and there's a Party. =D

Mulligan: Another reason I am not going to that party and wearing a costume

Daven: Bummer...I know! Lafayette! Zara! I need your help.

Zara: Yo

Lafayette: Oui?

Daven: Martin and Mulligan never wore a costume, that I know of! Can you help me?

Zara: I am all over it

Lafayette: I'll take Mulligan. Zara get Martin

Daven: Yo! Zara! You there.

That was just posted now, so I decided to text back... I seem to know what will happen next.

Me: Yes.

Daven: You are getting a costume.

Me: No, you don't need to.

Daven: We are getting you one. No buts...in fact, I have the perfect costume for you.

Me: Oh, boy...

Lafayette: And daven gets Zana

I couldn't help but grin. I close my phone to grab my stuff. A thought of something to eat crossed my mine...Is it weird that you are lazy to make food, but walking to a store to buy food is like the same exercise to make food here? I question it very much. I shake those thoughts away grab my stuff. I then quickly told Dalton I'll be leaving.

I have left the house. I think of something that could wake me up...coffee. Coffee might work.

I knew of a coffee shop nearby, so I went in that direction. I put on my earphones and look back at the text messages. There were a lot now. I quickly read them to see that it is Zara and Lafayette trying to find Martin and Mulligan. Daven is also helping them. I smile as I continue to walk.

I made it, to a coffee shop, and walk inside the store. A woman leaning on the counter greeted me.

"Hello, what can I get you?" she asks. I quickly look at the menu scanning for anything I knew. I didn't know any, besides water, so I just quickly order.

"Black coffee," I say. She's surprised at first but took my order. She went in the back and had a coffee in her hands. I pay her and took my coffee. I instantly drank it. I felt energized right after. This coffee...is amazing! I chug it and ask for another one. Yes, it was bitter, but I feel better. I got a second one and sat down on a table.

I took out my phone to see that they were still texting.

Daven: Oh, come on. It will look good on you.

Lafayette: daven we almost found them! There somewhere in this area

Zara: Where are u guys?

Zara: Martin?

Zara: Mulligan?

Zara: Oh not talking ay

Lafayette: don't worry we'll find them

Okay, so they are still looking Martin and Mulligan. Hopefully, they are not also looking for me. They are the best, but costumes are not something I would want to do.

Daven: Zara?

Daven: If you are hiding too, I will hunt you down. You will wear a costume!

...Nevermind. I start to swing my legs under the table. There is a lot of space until I hit something. It didn't feel like the pole of the table and I think I heard an "ow". I look under to see...Martin and Mulligan?

"Hey...Zana," Mulligan says, awkwardly. I'm surprised that I am not surprised that they are here under a table in a coffee shop. What I am more surprised about is that I didn't notice them.

"Hi. I assume you are hiding," I say. They nod. I chuckle as I hear the ring from the doorbell, jingle. I look up to see Lafayette and Zara looking around. The place is pretty empty, so they notice me quickly.

"Oh, Zara! We didn't think we'll find you here," Lafayette says. He looks at his phone and looks around," Quel est le problème avec cette chose ?! Cet endroit est vide ...(What is wrong with this thing?! This place is empty...)"

I look on his phone to see that he tracking someone. I didn't know how it worked, but I askes Lafayette if I could see his phone. He gave to me as I quickly read over it.

"Were you meant to track Mulligan and Martin?" I ask, seeing my name and phone number on the top of the tracker. He looks down at the phone as his eyes widen.

"Oh... heh...whoops...Sorry, for tracking you?" he apologized, but more like a question. Zara smacks him and yells in French on how dumb he is. They then had a heated argument as I just watch them.

"Achoo!" someone sneezes. Lafayette and Zara stop and look at me.

"Wasn't me," I say, putting my hands up. They look around until Lafayette spots something, which I think is Martin and Mulligan. They then look under the table. My theory is correct.

"A-hah!" Lafayette screams as both him and Zara pulls Mulligan and Martin. They groan in response.

"Come on, guys. You don't need to," Martin whines. Lafayette drags both of them into a car while Zara tries to pull me into the car.

"Come on!" she says, trying harder to pull me. I drank my coffee and shook my head.

"No, you were looking for them, even though you were accidentally looking for me," I state. She grumbles and calls Lafayette, Mulligan, and Martin.

"Why me?" Mulligan grumbles. Zara points at me and they somehow all get the point.

"Welp, we are not leaving you alone. Daven said she'll hunt you. Let us save her the trouble," Lafayette says as three of them grab my hands and starts to pull. Zara pushes my back as I felt them pushing me, but I stood my ground. I decide to get a third coffee as I throw my other cup away. I walk up to the cashier, who seems amazed and confuse, as I ask for another coffee. She's about to say something while pointing at them until I stop her.

"They are trying to pull me out, but I want another coffee," I say.

"Oh...wow," she says passing my coffee, still staring at them in surprise. I give her a smile and give her a twenty dollar bill.

" Keep the change," I say. They continue, as I slowly walk to my table.

"Mulligan you are not even helping!" Lafayette screams. I turn around to see Mulligan scrolling on his phone. He looks up and sighs. He walks over to me as I stare up at him.

"Come on," he says. He pouts and I just stare at him. I weigh my options...and I choose to wear a stupid costume because he can always pick me up and carry me out of this store. I nod at him as we walk outside. Lafayette, Zara, and Martin had their mouths wide open. I wait outside for everyone else as they are still surprised. I chug my coffee and throw it away. I then quickly get inside Lafayette and Zara's limo.

I'm greeted, by there parents. They seem to have the same idea and helped Lafayette and Zara find us. They then said that they were going to buy their costumes today, so they also pick up Daven at her home. She somehow helped Zara and Lafayette by giving them a tracking device on their phone to track any one of us...Mappen, I think it was called.

On our way there, they were booming music. They were singing Hamilton songs from the Musical, then Heathers, and In the Heights. I just watch outside while hearing them booming the music.

We made it and I got out first. I read the store sign which said "Party City". I heard of this place before but never went here. I waited on the side for everyone else. They all came out of the limo has Lafayette, Zara, and Daven starts squealing. I stand on the side with Martin and Mulligan. They seem to have the same idea as me. Without a word, they all drag us in. We were brought to the costume section of the sore.

I stare at all the costumes that they had. Mind you, the place is huge, so half of the store is the costume section. I continue to look, since Lafayette, Zara, and Daven won't stop bugging me, Martin, and Mulligan.

"Oh, I have found the costume for you! I think we'll look great!" she says, excitedly. She gave me a costume as I read the top; "Witch". I stare at it for a while until Daven gives puppy eyes. I didn't want to continue to look at costumes I could look terrible in, so I nod at her. She smiles and tells everyone else. Mulligan is the next person they start asking.

"Guys, please," Mulligan says. They were all doing it to him now, and he almost resisted until I tap him on the shoulder.

"You drag me here to do this, so you do this with me," I say as he stares for a moment until he nods. He grumbles a little and walks into the men's area. I glance at everyone, quickly, before following him. I saw most of them excited, but Lafayette a bit jealous? Is that it?

We all follow Mulligan into the area. I help look around for Mulligan and Martin. After a while, Martin finds a costume.

"I have no idea what to be, so I'll just be a ghost," he says lazily holding it up. He then shrugs and walks to the men's changing room. I continue to search with Mulligan. After another hour of looking at millions of costumes, he sighs.

"You know what. I will just pull it out of the bag," he says. I look at him confused," What is Lafayette going to be?" I just stare at him. He does like Lafayette a lot, doesn't he? He seems to notice me staring and just glares back at me. I stifle a chuckle as I clear my throat.

"Alright, alright, I am pretty sure he plans to be a pirate," I say. He just nods as he asks me to find a pirate outfit. I just nod and look behind me. I found it instantly right there. He then turns to me and mouths "Thank You" as the Lafayette come by us.

"Did you find one?" Lafayette ask. Mulligan nods and shows him the costume. It was a pirate costume that red, black and white. Lafayette's eyes lit up and stars fill his eyes.

"Oh my gosh!" he shrieks," We can be twins!" He hugs around Mulligan's neck and pulls him down to get to his level. He looks at me and blushes madly as I give him thumbs up. They were then pulled into the men's room after Zara and Daven pay for Martin's costume. I just smile and wait for them.

"Okay, your turn," Zara says as she and Daven pull me into a changing room. I change into the costume. It is itchy and a bit funny looking. I didn't like it, though, because the scars on my legs show.

"Are you done?" Daven asks. I walk out to show the outfit. Until I realize what I put one, I had to wear it. It was a purple shirt attached to a skirt. I had to wear short leggings and a huge purple hat. It then came with a crafted stick with marbles intertwine with the stick at the end.

"It looks great! We are taking it," she says. Before I could say anything, she starts paying for it. I sigh and smile. I change into my regular clothes and walk out. We walk back to the car. Their parents were happy that we all got something. I sigh wishing I had parents again. I then hear Lafayette asking his mother if they could go to Daven's house...or stay.

They agreed and we ended up having another sleepover. Though, this time we didn't do much. We stayed home most of the time and did a lot of activities that I didn't know about, but did really well in. It then came to the last day of the sleepover. The twins had fallen asleep and I didn't want to wake them, so I carry Zara. I could carry both, but Mulligan is the only one up with me, so he carried Lafayette home.

Mulligan, me, and the twins made it to our house. Mulligan had stayed over at our house for the night. I really didn't think it through, but it was 12 o'clock, midnight, so I couldn't let him leave. I made him a room next to me, knowing that this is the first time, my, guests stay over.

We'll just have to wake up really early, but not too early, just to make sure he gets ready for school...That is if I sleep, tonight.

I say goodnight to Mulligan as we left to our rooms. Surprisingly, I start to have grown sleepy. I didn't want to, but I'm...too...tired. With that, I drifted asleep.
