Chapter 5: Feelings

Zana POV

*Dream*

I wake up to a change in my surroundings. I stand up instantly and stare at the floor. It's water and...I'm standing on it. I look around to meet nothing but a black void. I can see my body though...I don't see a source of light anywhere though. I walk the empty void and start to think. Even though the void is dark and empty, it feels...peaceful and felt safe...I close my eyes for a bit. I reopen them again...to see the most beautiful sky ever; a blue and purple pattern mix together and white stars (dots) scatter it. I'm dazzled by the view. I sit down and stare at the sky.

After a while, I felt even safer and comfortable that my eyelids start to fall. I'm getting more tired...that use to never happen. I lay down onto water and close my eyes. The first thing I felt to my side is something...warm.

*Dream*

I open my eyes to darkness. I have no idea where I am until I remember my dream. I push myself up but stopped by a warm pressure on my side held me down. I have no idea what to do. It's also...purring...?

I move my hands around the sheets to see if something could help me. I found something and grab it. I brought it to my face and found out that it's a phone. I look for the home button and turn it on. I wince at the bright light as it lit up, so I quickly turn the brightness down. I sigh in relief and use the small light to see...Daven body on the side of me. I flush at her being...too close and amazed at her strength that brought me down. Her arms then calm down and her grip releases, so I slowly push her arms to the side. I put her head on my hand and sit up and place her on my thigh. She shifts a little but continues to sleep. I grab the phone again to see that it was my phone. I turn it on to see the time. 6:00 am...I'm surprised...That is the latest I was woken up in any morning...

I turn the flashlight on and put it to the side, so I can see. I put Daven's head on my hand and lift her up slightly and onto a pillow. I tuck her in and get out of the bed.

I still question these feelings again...I felt the urge to lie back down with her. I shake my head and place my phone down on her desk. I look down to see that I was wearing the same clothes from yesterday and that my hair is a mess. I decide to change and fix my hair later. I put on comfortable sleeping clothes; a t-shirt and shorts. I take out my hair and wrap my hair tie around my arm. I tie it tight and brush my hair down. I check my time. 6:30 am. I walk out, quietly, from the room. I'm very happy that the doors don't creak. I'm met with a bit of darkness and light. The light from the sky shines through the windows which helps me to see where I'm going.

I look around to see the bathroom light open. I hear water running. I realize that I am not in the mansion, so...I don't know what to do. I let the person in the bathroom go as I went to the other doors to see if anyone is up. One door was slightly open. I look in to see Martin and Zara sleeping together. I smile at it................I think it is cute? I shake my head and just adore it for a minute. I question them but leave it be. I close the door, quietly.

I heard the water shut off and movement of hinges...like curtains. I turn to see the bathroom door open and Mulligan stands in the doorway. I stare at him as he notices me. He flushes red and hid his upper body with the towel...I guess he's not very...open? I'm more focus on his scars, though. He had very deep ones but seems old.

"...uhhhh...," he says...very red, now, " W-W-W-What are y-y-you d-doing u-u-p?"...He reminds me of Daven when I first met her. If I remember correctly, she sounded scared talking to me...maybe he is.

"Are you scared?" I ask. He stares in surprise.

"Um...W-What do you m-mean?" he asks. His stuttering went down, but it is still there. It seems that I have found out.

"You seem to have problems speaking clearly to others besides people you are comfortable with like...when Martin comforted you, so you could speak to us," I state. He still stares in surprise, and now turns pink.

"I...um...(sigh)...yes...no offense," he mumbles, rubbing his neck. I smile, knowing he is honest...he isn't and wouldn't be the only one.

"It's alright...I understand," I say as I smile at him. He's surprised, to say the least. I walk downstairs as he goes in his room. I go to the kitchen to get water.

I look for Daven's kitchen in this huge house. It...seems odd, though, that I have no idea where I'm going, and yet Master's Manson is bigger. I always knew where to go...was I always that...trapped?... I push those thoughts away when I finally found the kitchen. I search the cabinets to find a glass. I go to the filtered water from the fridge and took a seat. I take sips and just think a little more.

I heard steps on the stairs. I notice and turn to see Mulligan, now wearing a shirt, looking at me. He sits down next to me and we sit in a...comfortable silence...I've never felt that before and I won't protest it.

"Are you thirsty?" I ask. Before he could answer, someone else came down the stairs. It was Martin. Martin yawns and rubs his eyes. He sits down next to Mulligan and notices me.

"Morning...sorry if I interrupted something," he says, tired. I smile and shake my head. He returns the smile and greets Mulligan with a hug. I continue to smile and finish my water.

"Yes, actually," Mulligan answers.

"What about you? Do you want a drink?" I ask, Martin. He nods and slumps in he seat," Do you guys want something in particular?"

"Milk," they both say at the same time. They look at each other and giggle. I smile and make them both cups of milk. I pass it to them as I make myself more water. I decide to stand at the edge of the counter...I had a weird feeling of sitting down and feeling comfortable..for once.

"Hey, Mully," he says as Mulligan gives a glare. I knew that glare mean he didn't like that name,"You need some milk!" Mulligan tries to contain his laughter as Martin smirks. Mulligan playfully punches Martin in the arm.

"Fine. I'll let you off the hook, but don't call me that," he says, giggling a bit. Martin just shrugs and starts to chug his milk. Mulligan starts to sip it. Confuse on the topic, I sit down and start to think.

It got me thinking more about their personalities. Mulligan is muscular and big, but seem to be more careful and nice with everything. He looks like the person to stop anyone, but can easily be heartbroken or hurt inside. Martin, on the other hand, is also muscular, but less than Mulligan. He is really confident about everything and seems strong hearted. He may not defeat everyone or anything but will try anyway. I can't think of any other best friends that should be together besides these two.

Martin was the first to finish. Then Mulligan and they put their glasses in the sink. I finish my water and put it in the sink. I sit with them and think more for while.

I thought of this sleepover and how it is my first one. The thought that I believe that these people can be my friends...one day. Daven seems to have a huge effect on me, but I don't seem to mine. Martin and Mulligan are similar to me and that I am not the only one that had secrets. I feel more comfortable near them than anyone else. I am also surprised that Master would let me go. I am more surprised that it is going well for me... like...how?

I stop thinking when Martin tries to get my attention by calling me. I notice and look at him.

"Sorry, it is just that...do you know how to cook?" Martin asks. I nod and before I could ask why his tummy grumbles. Mulligan's tummy also grumbles as I realize that they are hungry. I walk into the kitchen and to feel...also hungry. I start to think of what to make until I realize I didn't ask them what they want.

"Anything, you can make," Mulligan says, before I could ask. I smile and already thought of the food I was going to make. I check the fridge and cabinets and to see if they have everything I need.

Mulligan POV

She starts to look through the kitchen. Once she was done, she starts. She preheats the oven twice and made two things.

Time past by and it was 7:50 in the morning. Me and Martin waited for a while. Martin was on his phone while I watch the sunrise from the window.

I then stop when cinnamon and spices flow through the air. I smile and turn to Zana. She made two plates to feed all of us. I look at the creation she made and saw a plate of vegetables and the other one with donuts. I grin and was about to take a piece until Zana smacks my hand. She then puts her pointer up and moves it right to left.

"No touching. This is for everyone," she says, sternly. I nod as Martin doesn't notice.

"Martin, can you grab Zara, Lucus, and Liam and tell them I made breakfast," Zana ask. He looks up and nods. He then turns to the food. His eyes widen and his grin is bigger than I ever seen it.

"FOOD!" he screams and tries to steal a piece. Zana then smacks his hand and does the same process...She can be scary sometimes.

We all walk upstairs. Martin first went into Jacob and Liam's room. I walk in Lafayette and my room. I close the door to hear Martin muffled screams; "Wake up!". I laugh and turn to Lafayette.

He looks super cute...wait. I smack myself...He probably straight anyway. I shake him slowly.

"Lafayette, Lafayette," I call out. He groans in response and turns to me. He smiles and yawns.

"Bonjour, mon amour (Morning, my love)," he says. He voice sounds amazing...wait. I mentally slap myself.

I didn't understand, but I believe that means "Good Morning". Although, the last part...it was new. He eyes widen and he covers his mouth.

"Oh...uh..sorry...did you understand what I said?" he asks. I shake my head as he sighs in relief. I continue to look confused at him and remind myself to ask Zana to translate that.

"Uh...Zana made food. It is downstairs if you want," I say. He nods and walks out. I follow after him.

We walk downstairs to see everyone ready to eat. We sit down next to them in the open seats. I sat down next to Zana and Daven.

"The Lord's Prayer, everyone," Daven calls out. We connect hands until I get to Zana. She stares at me unsure. I look at her slightly confuse until I realize.

"Do you...not know what we're doing?" I ask. Everyone notices and stares at us as she nods.

"I have never been to a church, so I don't know any prayers...or who to believe in...or if I should...sorry," she says. I'm touched, again. I still hold out my hand to her. She takes it, hesitantly, and looks up at everyone. Daven smiles at me starts the prayer. I gave a Zana a smile as she returns back. I didn't say the prayer, but at least Zana is comfortable with it. Daven finishes the prayer and starts to grab some of the donuts Zana made.

"Now, you can have some," she says passing the plate of vegetables she made, " I made Best Breakfast Potatoes and cinnamon donuts. I hope you enjoy." I smile as we put some on our plates. Martin was just digging in.

Breakfast is incredible. I had scoops of the potatoes and bites of the donuts and they were amazing. Zana didn't each much but continues to smile at us.

"I didn't know you can cook! This was amazing!" Daven screams; exactly what I was thinking. Zana smiles more and takes some of our dishes, into the sink. I help her out with washing the dishes. Daven wipes the table and Martin talks with Lafayette and Zara.

Liam and Jacob needed to leave after we finish cleaning. We say "Good Bye" to them and we all sit in the living room. We all had a lot of time to spare, so we decide to think of what to do next.

"Do you guys want to go somewhere or do something?" Daven asks. I didn't care as long as it involves the-

"What about the WaterPark? I saw that it really fun," Lafayette suggests. Oh...great. Martin and Zana have the same expression as me...Just when I was about to say it. I rub my temples and slump in my chair, knowing that this will not end well.

"That sounds great!" Daven says. Zara, Daven, and Lafayette huddle and talk more about. I give Zana and Martin a look, telling them I'm going upstairs. They agree and we try to sneak away.

"Hey, where are you guys going?" Zara calls. We all flinch and turn around.

"Haha...n-nowhere," I say awkwardly. Zara crosses her arms as her brother stares at me worried. Daven, on the other hand, has no expression at all.

"Mulligan turn around," Daven commands. I give an unsure look as everyone stares.

"Oh...um...alright," I say, turning around. She pushes my shirt all the way so that my back was shown. I flinch and turn away," Daven!" I don't want any of them to see my scars...too late for that, now.

They all stare at me. Daven just crosses her arms and looks at all of us.

"Guys...is that the reason why you guys are backing up...," Daven asks, worried. I nod and rub the back of my neck. Martin and Zana also nod.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Mon ami...We don't have to if you don't want to," Lafayette says a bit disappointed. It somewhat struck me...straight through my heart.

"No, No!" I say, quickly,"I-I-I m-m-mean...!" I look at Zana and Martin. They nod at me, so we nod at Daven. She seems to understand and smiles happily. She says something quickly to Lafayette and Zara and takes Zana to her room. Zara takes Martin and Lafayette takes me to our room. He walks in and grabs items into his backpack.

"Come on, Mon Amo-Ami," he says, smiling. I realize I don't have what I need.

"I'm sorry. I don't have any clothes to swim in," I say, kinda hoping that it will stop him. He crosses arms and raises a brow. I stare at him completely.

"No lies...Well, then we'll have to go shopping then," he says...I made it worse. I mentally slap myself knowing that I hate the mall. I sigh, knowing I have no choice. I grab a few things and change my shorts into pants. I then walk out with Lafayette. Martin is waiting by the stairs with Zara, ready. They were watching a video and laughing. I swear they are the cutest thing together. Daven walks out of her room and stands next to us with a bag.

"Where's Zana?" Lafayette asks. Daven points to her door opening. It reveals Zana wearing her bathing suit with a sarong wrapped around her waist. She also had her backpack and her hair was tied up. I then notice the scars scatter around her. A big one slashes around her stomach and back area.

"You look great, Zana," Daven says. Zana smiles a bit but looks down worried. I understand...her scars are showing. Guess she joins the club with me and Martin.

We wait as Daven grabs her mother. She actually pretty cool...Here come sad thoughts. I sigh as Martin hugs me, knowing that Daven mother reminds me of my mother. Zana seems to notice and sits next to me. I smile at them. I know I am not alone and that I'm still here.

Daven came after a while with her mother. They led us to a truck. A nice one, too. We all decide to sit in the back together since there is only one seat in the front. We put our bags there.

"We good!?" Daven's mother calls.

"Yup!" Daven answers back. Her mother smiles and starts the car.

The ride is not bad. Zara and Martin continue to watch Zara's phone; I believe they were watching cat videos. Daven and Zana are both listening to music. Zana is staring at the road, though. Lafayette read a book... which is the last thing I expected anyone to do to this year. I then realize that I never ever seen him with a phone.

I realize that I'm staring at him and he caught me. I look away blushing red. I keep doing that and it's...weird.

After a while, we made it to the Mall. Daven's mother was looking for a stall to park in. While doing that, Zara almost tried to jump out of the moving vehicle. And because of that, Lafayette ask Martin to hold her down until we get back.

I walk in with Lafayette, Zana, and Daven. We walk around looking stores until Lafayette and Daven found a store they "needed". They were in "need" of a sugar rush, so they went to the Candy Store. I would be fine with it if there wasn't an awkward silence between me and Zana. She's focused on everyone. I also notice the people staring at her and I am surprised that she can handle it. I look back down at her scars. They were deep like mine and has a lot on her back...but then again...she a lot everywhere.

"So," Zana says out of nowhere,"Do you like Lafayette?" That was the last thing I expected her to say. I want to say "Yes", but then again...I don't want them to know...yet.

"I-I...umm...I-I...," I stutter. She gives me the same face then a satisfied one.

"I knew it," she says,"Break his heart, then I'll break yours." I stare at her...shivering. Not only because she knows, but the heart thing. Right after she said that Lafayette and Daven come out of the store with a bag of candy. Daven pulls Zana in front of me and Lafayette and shows her the Candy she bought.

I walk behind with Lafayette. I try so hard not to look at him, but a familiar scent came from his direction. I turn my head to see him eating...chocolate. How...my favorite candy...Oh. My. God.

I'm, again, staring at him and he notices. He giggles and I blush red. I mentally slap myself...again.

"Do you want one?" he asks. I look at him for moment and nod as he takes a piece out. He puts it near my face. I was about to grab it until he pulls it away from me and puts back in front of my face.

"Ah," he gestures as he opens his mouth. I'm just growing redder, but I did and bit the chocolate. It's pretty good and Lafayette notices,"Good, right?" he asks. I nod my head...now red as a tomato.

We did a little more walking until I was annoyed and chose a random store with men's clothing.

Daven told Lafayette to come with me...alone. We walk around the store a bit looking at clothes. Lafayette was more interested in the clothes than I am, so I wait for him to finish. We continue to walk around until I found a swim short I could use. They have blue and black strips. I just agreed with it and told Lafayette I found one. We head to the changing room so that I could try it on. It fit, so I thought of buying it. I was about to change until I hear a knock on the door.

"Yes," I call.

"Can I see?" Lafayette asks me. For once, I am not blushing. I didn't want him to see me even though they might later on. I sigh and open the door to let him in. He walks in and closes the door.

He first gasps at the many scars that I have as I look down in shame...didn't expect to be embraced by him.

"You look great, mon ami. Don't worry," he says. I smile at his compliment,"Well, we better hurry." He walks out and waits in the front. I change and walk over to the cashier. I pay for it and wait for my receipt. I look over to see her write something on the receipt before she gives it to me. I then walk back to Lafayette.

I quickly read the receipt. It said "Call me" with her phone number. I look back to see her blowing me a kiss. I went back to having no feelings, again. I crumple the receipt and threw it into the trash. I turn around and head for the exit. Lafayette looks like he's about to giggle as he walks by my side.

"Why did you do that for?" Lafayette asks, trying to contain his laughter.

"Well, I don't even know her name and she thinks that she gonna get a date just by handing her phone number to everyone...And I told you, I'm gay...well, accidentally anyways," I say. Lafayette stares for a bit, but then smiles

"Oh, right, Mon ami! I forgot, but I just couldn't stand her face when you threw it away," he says, trying super hard not to laugh. I giggle and walk out of the store with him. We walk over the Daven in the front.

"We're ready," I told Daven. She smiles and we start to walk back.

Once we made it to the truck, we're back on the road. This time Zara is being comforted by Martin because she couldn't go to the mall with us and starts to whine about it. Daven shares the candy she bought with everyone. Zana continues to listen to music and look others driving. Lafayette joins Daven and shares his candies. I...just watch them and start to daydream again.

"Mon ami, do want one?" Lafayette asks. I look at him and shake my head. He shrugs and gives his sister the piece of chocolate. I smile and turn my view to watch as the WaterPark gets closer and closer.

We made it and Daven's mother drops us in the front. She said she'll pick us up later.

I'm terrified of walking in there. Martin and Zana agree with me, but Lafayette, Daven, and Zara drag us in there. The three of us are all changed and our scars are showing. We are only in the front and stares are already happening.

Daven is getting us in while me, Zana, and Martin stay close to each other. We were getting a lot of stares and whispers which makes me feel like leaving...

"Mulligan," Martin calls. I turn my head," I feel the urge to leave, but I don't want to let Daven down. She is paying for us!" He points at Daven handing money to the cashier. I nod and, so does Zana...We thought of the same thing which is...pretty cool for people like us.

Zana POV

Martin is right. I rather am humiliated by everyone around me than let my her down. I nod with them and they smile. I return the smile and hug them.

"Thanks," I say. They hug back and pull away. We look back to see Daven finish paying and waving at us to come over. We walk over to her and walk by her side.

We walk around a bit searching for a table. The stares increase as I worry more for Martin and Mulligan. They try their best to hide their scars, by hiding behind me...weird...I never felt bad before...for...anyone or thing.

"Hey, over here," Lafayette calls. We turn to see the twins on a table. We walk over to them and place our belongings down.

"We need to change. Can you guys stay here?" Daven asks me...suspiciously...I ignore that thought and turn to Martin and Mulligan. I nod and she smiles. She walks off with Zara and Lafayette while I stay here with Mulligan and Martin.

Though we don't do anything, I feel safer around them like their presence is all that is needed for me to feel comfortable. I want to talk to them, but I don't want to say anything that will make them uncomfortable.

"Thanks, Zana, "Martin says. I turn to him and smile. He smiles back and Mulligan joins," You guys are comfortable to hang around with. I feel safe around you guys. Sorry, if it is weird, but I had to point that out since we were standing so close to each other." I smile knowing that I am not the only one.

"Yeah...I feel the same way," Mulligan says, smiling. Their presence is more needed than ever for me, now.

"Yeah, I do, too...I've never felt better near anyone, but you guys," I say. I still question my feelings, but continue on anyway," I have always hated people near or talking to me. I enjoyed the quiet better than anyone...I guess that I was just alone for so long that I don't understand how your presence is...er...makes me feel welcome and peaceful," I say smiling.

They smile back at me. Mulligan smiles and grabs his wallet out of his wallet and stands up.

"I don't know about you, but I could go for a drink," he says. I decide to join him and Martin follows afterward. We walk to the bar and while walking. The stares continue, but we walk in pride and didn't care at all.

After a while of looking, we found a bar. The bartender notices us and smile.

"What can I get you guys?" he asks us. I look at his name tag to read; "Nathen". We look at the menu. I didn't seem to know any of the beverages except...water.

"I'll have a coke," Mulligan says.

"I'll have a Lemonade," Maritan says.

"Water," I say. Mulligan and Martin look at me like I am dead as I stare in confusion," Did I say something wrong?"

"Come on. Get anything, I don't mine," Mulligan says. I look back at the menu to not know what any of the beverages were. They still stare at me until Martin places his hand on my back. They seem to catch on quickly with my confusion.

"Don't tell me," he starts. I nod and he places his hand over his heart and looks shocked. He turns the bartender, who also seems amused. "Get her a strawberry milkshake," Martin says quickly and turns back to me, Nathen nods and leaves," Remind me to go to every single place you been through and burn it! How do you not know any drink besides water!?" I look away pink and he notices. "Sorry, but...like how?" he asks," How old are you?"

"Fifteen," I say. Still amazed, that I should have known this...I feel...very surprised? Although, where I come from...none of them would even let me leave the home...

He sighs as Mulligan looks at me worried. I give a smile which they return, but a little sadness in them. I feel...sorry...and worried, again. I don't know if I should feel happy that I have feelings for them or that I have "these" feeling for them...After a while of no talking, Nathen comes back with the drinks.

"Here you go. Oh, it's on the house," he says to us. Mulligan and Martin nod. I look at him confused and tried to look at the roof. They seem to notice.

"No, no not like that," he says," I pay for you is what I meant." Oh, I get it. I nod and he smiles, slightly.

"Sorry, she...," Mulligan looks at me and back to him," She doesn't know certain phrases...or has a sense of humor." Nathen nods.

"No, it's alright. It is just that seeing three with huge scars on your...everywhere...you must of had a hard time," he says. We all look at him and nod. I'm glad he's not rude. I see him stare sometimes, but at least tries not to look.

"Thanks, man," Martin says. Nathen smiles and stays by us.

"Oh, by the way," Nathen says," How old are you guys?"

"Fifteen," I say.

"And both of us are fourteen," Martin says, pointing at him and Mulligan. Nathen eyes widen and cover his mouth with his hand. We stare in confusion.

"Oh no...uh, sorry...I just thought you guys were...older," Nathen says, embarrassed. That was the first time I heard that...ever. Now, I have no idea what I should be feeling.

"Really?" Martin asks, surprised

"Yeah, sorry. You guys are young, yet all of you look like your more mature for your age," he says.

"Thanks...I never heard that before," I say, flattered. He smiles as I return it back.

"No problem...Welp, I better get back to customers," looking at others sitting down, "Bye!" He leaves and starts taking orders in.

"Hey, you talked to someone," Mulligan says grinning.

"I guess I did...And I didn't ruin it!" I say...feeling...happy. They smile at me and start sipping their drinks. I...somehat...adore their smiles. I look at mine and forgot that it was there. It's a pink drink with, what seems to be, whip cream with a cherry on top. I first ate the cherry...to see that it is sweeter than a regular cherry and has no seed. I then take a sip and notice Mulligan and Martin watching me.

It was...good. I never had something with this much flavor in it. I continue to drink it smile. I start to think more when I finished it. While thinking, I realize something. I check my time on the clock on the wall to only see that it was 11:00 am.

"Hey, guys," I say as they look at me," Where's Daven and the twins? It has been 45 minutes." They check the time on their phones and their eyes widen.

"Oh...I guess so," Martin says," I'll call them. Maybe they'll answer." Me and Mulligan watch as Martin calls Daven's phone. After the first ring, my ears shot up. I look around to find the source of that noise.

"What's wrong?" Mulligan asks, noticing my actions. I continue to look around but shake my head.

"Nothing...I just thought I heard phone went off when Martin called..." I say, looking back at him.

Daven POV

Shoot! My phone! I quickly grab it and turn the ringer off. I look back to see Zana looking around but shakes her head and turn back to Mulligan. I sigh in relief and turn to Lafayette and Zara. They agree with me and we continue to watch them behind a tree.

I, Lafayette, and Zara were already done changing a long time ago. We are just watching them...and everything seems to be going fine. They getting along and they don't look worried or scared. I talked to Lafayette and Zara on this. I ask them to join me so that they are alone with each other...I believe it is going great!

I'm, honestly happy for them. It also seems that Zana talked to someone. I smile as Lafayette and Zara smile with me.

"Hey, I think that it is going well," I say to Lafayette and Zara.

"I believe so, too," Lafayette says.

"Yup, they are doing great...Now, can we go on rides? It has been almost an hour since we were doing this," Zara says. I didn't respond and just kept watching. They seem, so happy and that was the only time that I saw them genuinely happy. After 10 more minutes, I answer Zara's question.

" Actually...Yeah, let us go join them," I say. Before we could get out of our hiding spot, I see three boys go behind Zana," Hey," I call Lafayette and Zara. I point to the boys as the follow my hand. They notice them and we hide back.

I watch closely as the one with light, poofy hair hits Zana on the back. I instantly snap and continue to watch.

Zana POV

Something hits my back and I quickly notice. I turn around, along with Mulligan and Martin. We stand up from our chairs as I glare at the one in the middle that hit me. There were three people there. The one that hit me has poofy hair and a big smirk across his face. The other one is lighter skin tone than the other two and smirking at me with...a bit of blush on his face. The other one...looks a lot like...Mulligan and looks a little worried.

"Well, Well, if it isn't the orphans, that have no one else besides themselves," he said looking at Martin and Mulligan. I didn't break my glare away from the boy as he looks back at me," and Who is this young lady?" He tries to reach for my chin as I smack his hand away and continue to glare. He stares at first but smirks. "Oh! I see," he says as he leans closer," You're one of them." I snapped and smack across the face. He falls backward amazed as the two behind him help him up.

"Yeah, I am like them," I walk up to him," I don't know who you are or what you want, but if you want to fight, your a** better be in the parking lot by 4:30," I say leaning over him. He stares but looks a little scared. We continue to stare at each other as I'm ready to punch the living daylights out of him.

"Come on, guys...Let's go," he says as he stands up, rubbing his cheek. They walk to the exit as I stand back up straight. I felt a hand on my shoulder as I calmed down a bit. I turn to see Mulligan smiling at me. I smile back as Martin was grinning widely.

"Thank so much! He is a a**! You stood up for us!?" he screams. I smile and think about it.

I did do that. I never snapped that hard against anyone for...anyone. I smile at the thought and hug them. Another feeling...of me being...proud?....happy?...

"Of course, you guys are like me and I'll never leave you guys behind...even if you don't agree," I say, now, knowing that this feeling is being proud of myself. They smile back.

"Yeah, sorry...They...are the bullies at our school," Mulligan says, rubbing his neck.

"You know them?" I ask.

"Yes. The poofy hair guy that hit you is Dustin. The other two is Dan and...James...," he says as I notice the small difference in his voice. He seemed annoyed, but sad at the same time.

"What is wrong with James? Your voice changed," I ask. He stares at me in surprised then looks away.

"He...(sighs)...sorry," he says quietly. Martin rubs his back as I smile. He smiles as we sit back down. Nathen was staring with a wide open mouth.

After an explanation to Nathen, Mulligan ave he a $20 and we left back to the table. While walking, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turn to see Daven, Lafayette, and Zara.

"Sorry, we took so long, but we got...distracted...?," she says...but more like a question.

"No, no, it's alright...We just went to get a drink," I say. Martin nods and grins widely as Mulligan smiles. There was a long silence until Daven coughs.

"Well, who wants to go on rides!" Daven says, excitedly. I smile and we were taken to the many rides.

*Time Skip to 3:30 pm*

I had a...lot of fun. We walk back to the table cold and wet, but the remaining sun kept me warm but did no effect for everyone else, though. I grab my towel and start to dry off. Everyone else wrapped themselves in it like a blanket.

"Oh, hey we missed one ride...well...," Lafayette says, pointing at one...area. It wasn't exactly a ride but looks like a long river.

"Oh, yeah! The Lazy River," Daven says, looking at it. Oh...well that explains it, but...I have to get wet again. I groan as they laugh at me. We walk up to find 3 round rafts. I look at the water to see that it was moving in one direction.

"Aw, man. There is only 3," Daven says looking at the rafts. I smile and take one and put in the water as I pick Daven," Zana!" she screams...blushing pink. I place her on the raft and I smile.

"You can take it. I just swim," I push her in the water with me and start to swim. Martin and Mulligan follow me as the twins take the last rafts and try to catch up. Once, they did we became another group in the river moving forward. It's nice.

I listen to the quiet mostly, since there were other people here, too. I heard a splash but decide to ignore it until I felt something between my legs. It pushed me up as I fell backward. I swim back up onto my feet to wipe my eyes.

"Gatcha," Lafayette says, smirking. I stare in surprise but smile. I push him back as he made a splash.

"Got you, too," I mock back. He comes back up spitting the water that went into his mouth. Everyone started to join and splash each other. I'm having fun...so much fun.

Once, we went all the way around, we place the rafts back and went to change.

We left the park and everyone starts to talk about the day. I stand in the back and smile at them. I happy for them...still questioning...EVERYTHING!

I shake my head and try to enjoy them. I'm more interested in Daven, though. I seem to watch her every move and her every word. She talks a lot and seems more open to everyone than any other person I ever met. She honest and kind to anyone...I have much trouble doing that, too. I change my direction to Martin and Mulligan. Martin joins Daven in the large talks about today as for Mulligan...he seems to enjoy them talking...like me. The twins, Lafayette and Zara, were listening to their conversation and agree with them.

I remember about the possibilities of...where I go back to...home. I, though, don't care...I had also worried about that, but today, I will focus on them. I look up at them. They continue to talk about the days...I had the fun in my life and childhood...I smile at the thought and look up. Were at the truck and we climb in. Her mother then speeds to our homes, knowing it is getting dark...Realizing it...Master never gave me a time to come back to...

"Bye, everyone," Martin says. I look up to see that are parked in front of a nice house. He hopped out and waved. We waved back and went to Mulligan's house.

"Thanks, Daven," Mulligan says, hugging Daven. I hug him back and remembered another thing that happened today. I'm surprised he didn't want to answer. He seemed...tempted to say "Yes" when we were in the mall.

"I'll ask you again, soon," I say, smirking a bit. He first looks confused and turns pink. I get in the truck and Daven's mother drives off.

"Please! Don't tell him yet!" Mulligan screams. I give him a thumbs up as Lafayette looks confused.

"Tell who, what?" he asks me. I shrug in response and he looks like he is not buying it.

"I can't tell...sorry," I say. He sighs and nods. I smile as he returns it. His smile fades when our house turns the corner. I notice and start to grab my stuff. Lafayette and Zara hop out first and walk to the door. I hop out as I felt a grip on my arm. I turn to see Daven looking at me worried. I give her a hopeful look which makes her smile.

"Please call me if anything happens...," she says as she hands me her number on a piece of paper. She then gets in the truck and waves at us. I smile and wave at her. She leaves as I walk to Lafayette. He faces me and grabs my shoulders. I look at him worried as he looks at me worried.

"If anything happens...Tell us," he says, sternly, as Zara also looks at me. I feel happy that they care, so I nod. They smile as I grab the keys and open the door. It was empty...like always.

I walk in and walk Lafayette and Zara to there rooms. We are greeted by their parents on the stairs. Lafayette and Zara hug them and start to tell them about our sleepover. I smile as Lafayette gives a serious look. I mouth "I know" to them and smile. He returns it and continues to talk about our sleepover with his parents. I smile at them and walk to my room to see a note on the door. I took it and read it; "Meet at my office when you come home. I need to discuss something with you. -From Master"
