You ever just get a weird feeling?

Not necessarily weird but... a bad feeling. Like all your lonely ness just hits you at once. When's the last time someone's said they truly cared about me? When's the last time I smiled, not a fake smile, but a real, genuine smile?

Well that's what happened to me in the middle of the night at 3:00 am. All my feelings hit me at once without a warning.

I felt a wave of emotions overcome me. This feeling was rare. Usually I felt lifeless, numb.

I felt tears flow down my cheeks. Then I heard footsteps getting louder until the door opened, there stood Darryl.

He rushed over to me and hugged me, "Sh, it's okay little muffin." He cooed.

So this is what it feels like to be loved.

My eyes snapped open and my cheeks were wet.

Of course.

It was only a dream.
