Chapter 18
(Jack's P.O.V.)
I run my hands through my newly dyed green hair. I just dyed it yesterday morning, along with Mark who dyed it red. I'm really happy I dyed it, and it looks really cool. I'm excited to see what Mark's looks like! He said he'd talk to me today, but never specified as to how so I've had my computer on all day. I'm not obsessed! I just don't want to miss his call... That's all... Yep...
It's about five, and I'm starting to get kinda hungry. But I reeeaaaally don't want to cook... Whatever, I'll just go get something. I start packing up to leave when my doorbell rings. Frowning I slowly walk over to the door. Um... I wasn't expecting anyone... I go up and I open the door slowly, peeking out to find... No one? Weird... I'm about to close the door when out of my peripheral vision, I see something. I look down and my frown becomes a confused expression. I bend down, picking up the green and blue game controller lollipop bouquet (holy crap that was long). Even more weird... Sweet, but weird. Wait a second... I pick up the one odd lollipop, the one that isn't green or blue... But pink. There's a card attached to this one.
""Guess who?"" I read questionably, confused beyond belief. Until...
"Murkipleer!" I jump, screeching slightly. Mark stands at my door, laughing uncontrollably. I join in.
"Oh my god, Mark. You scared me." I say between laughs, walking up and hugging him. His red hair looks fabulous, and fluffy. He hugs back. When our laughing fit is over I pull away from the hug. "What are you doing here?" I ask, smiling. His smile grows.
"I decided to surprise you! Surprise!" He says, doing jazz hands. I shake my head a bit, kissing him quickly, though he pulls me in again afterwards, and the kiss lasts a little longer than before. I knew I missed him, but I didn't know how much I missed him until now. I pull away, putting my forehead on his.
"God I love you." I whisper, laughing a bit afterwards. Mark smiles.
"I love you too. Never forget that." He says. I close my eyes.
"I won't." I say. He backs away a bit, looking at me.
"You're wearing your sweater!" He says, nodding at my blue sweater that has become my signature outfit. I nod, tugging on the sleeves a bit.
"Yeah, I thought why not?" I say, shrugging. He shrugs as well.
"Fair enough. So, I assume you're hungry. I know someplace we can go for food, thanks to about a half hour of research. Ready to go?" He asks, holding his hand out. I start nodding and then shake my head.
"Almost! Be right back." I say. He nods, and I run off to my room. I grab my hat, my signature hat, and I put it on, walking back to Mark. "Now I'm ready." I say, taking his hand. He nods.
"I should have known." He says and I shrug as we walk hand in hand out of my apartment and eventually out of the apartment building. We go to dinner at some restaurant, which was really nice, and afterwards we decide to go to a local arcade. To be completely honest, I'm never been to this one. I've been to a lot of the local arcades but not this one, this one's new. We walk in the doors, and I look around wide eyed.
"This place is huge!" I say, Mark agreeing with me quickly. There's pretty much every arcade game here, from skee-ball to Angry Birds Arcade Version. It's pretty amazing.
"What do you wanna do?" Mark asks, looking at me. I shrug. However it doesn't take long for my eyes to land on a certain arcade game.
"The claw machine!" I yell, grabbing Mark's hand and pulling him to the claw machine, where he just laughs.
"You will never win anything there." He says. I shrug.
"Doesn't hurt to try." I say, smiling a bit. So, long story short, I end up spending about ten dollars on the claw machine. But eventually, on my last try, I aim the claw, and I hit the drop button. And sure enough the claw wraps around one of the fluffy llama plushies. "Oh my god I did it!"
Mark stares with wide eyes, shocked as I grab the llama from the prize door. I hug it, looking at him with happiness and shock as well.
"Well yes, you did." He says, laughing. I just start bouncing around, content with my fluffy llama plushie. "Oh, now I want to try."
And that's how Mark and I wasted around fifty dollars and two hours of our time at the arcade.

(still Jack's P.O.V., the next day)
I groan, lifting my head. Why the hell was I asleep? Wait... I remember... I remember walking into the kitchen and Mark was there... No, no not Mark. Dark. Dark was there. And... And he knocked me out with a... With a chair... I move my hands a bit but they don't budge. I look around. I'm in the living room and I'm tied to a chair. My hands and feet are both tied to the chair. What the hell?
"Good god, you're finally awake." I look up, my eyes adjusting to the darkness of the room. Why is it so dark in here? Once my eyes adjust I'm met with the exact sight I thought I'd see.
"Dark." I say simply. I'm still so out of it. I feel something drip down the side of my head. Blood. The hit made me bleed? Dark looks at me, playing with a knife in his hands. He doesn't say anything, he just stares at me as he continues twirling the knife around and around in his hand. "What are you planning on doing?" I ask, staring at the knife. Dark just shrugs. I gulp. "Are you going to kill me?" I ask softly. At this Dark smiles, shaking his head slowly.
"No no. Even though you are incredibly annoying, I don't necessarily want Anti to die. I mean, yes he is a bitch sometimes, but he can be of use to me. And I know that if I killed you Mark would kill me, other things before though. He'd torture me. No, no Jack. I'm gonna torture you." He smirks, leaning on my arms, which are tied to the chairs armrests, his face inches from mine.
"Mark..." I say softly and Dark starts dragging the knife across my leg. "Help." I squeak as the torture begins.
A/N: I hate myself too, don't worry.
