Sonic's P.O.V.
This stranger that texted me knows almost everything about me. My hobbies, my favorite food, the things I hate, the things I like, and so on. At this point, I was worried that he might know about my feelings for him, but I didn't ask him anything, since I didn't want to risk it. We've been talking for a few days, about a week already, I haven't talked to Amy or anybody else, only the stranger.

I was sitting on the couch, looking at my phone as I talked with the stranger.

StrangerDanger: What are you going to do tomorrow?

Sonic: What are you talking about?

StrangerDanger: It's your birthday, isn't it?

Sonic: How do you know so many things about me!?

StrangerDanger: You'll see.

Sonic: What does that mean?

StrangerDanger: You'll see.

Sonic: This is really irritating, you know that?

StrangerDanger: You've changed a lot.

Sonic: As if you knew me before.

StrangerDanger: I did know you.

Sonic: Who are you then?

StrangerDanger: You'll see.

I groaned and put my phone away, he was really getting on my nerves. I chuckled when I remembered making Shadow mad with similar ways, I wouldn't let him alone and kept asking questions about his day and he would always push me away.

I was lost in thoughts and didn't hear the first time that someone knocked on my door, the second time I heard and groaned the stood up then opened the door then looked at Tails shocked, I hadn't seen him for a long time, almost a year.

Tails smiled at me and waved. "Hi, Sonic! How are you? I haven't seen you for so long!" He said happily. I forced a smile on my face. "Hi buddy, I'm fine, how about you?" I said, wanting to end this as soon as possible.

Tails slightly lowered his ears, understanding that something's wrong, but he went on with it. "Since tomorrow's your birthday, I was wondering if you could come to my place, to celebrate it!" He continued being hyper.

I slowly nodded after I thought about it for a bit. Maybe it was time I pull myself together and go back to the way I was before the whole incident with him.

Tails smiled brightly and nodded then hugged me tightly. "That's awesome! I'll see you tomorrow!" I tensed up at that and awkwardly hugged back then patted his back.

"I'll see you tomorrow..." I said regretting that I agreed on going there. I was sure that Amy will be there, which means that Scourge will be there too.

Tails broke the hug and left smiling and singing to himself, I chuckled at that.

"Why is he so happy? Did he win the lottery or something?" I mumbled to myself as I closed the door and sat back to the couch. I looked at my phone and sighed when I saw that the stranger had sent me another message.

StrangerDanger: I have a surprise for you. 

Sonic: What is it?

StrangerDanger: You'll see.

Sonic: Why would you tell me you have a surprise for me if you're not going to say what it is?

StrangerDanger: To keep you excited for the party.

Sonic: How the hell do you know about that???

StrangerDanger: I was invited.

Sonic: So Tails knows you?

StrangerDanger: All your friends know me.

Sonic: Do they know that you're doing this?

StrangerDanger: Not everyone, only one.

Sonic: And who is that one?

StrangerDanger: You'll see.

I groaned and rubbed my face in frustration.

Sonic: Why are you doing this to me?

StrangerDanger: I didn't want to do this.

Sonic: Then why are you doing this?

StrangerDanger: They made me.

Sonic: Why did you agree?

StrangerDanger: They threatened me.

I started getting a little worried

Sonic: Who? What did they tell you?

StrangerDanger: Don't worry, they didn't threaten to harm me, they just told me that if I didn't talk to you they'll tell everyone a secret of mine.

Sonic: What secret?

StrangerDanger: I'll tell you after the party, I don't like talking about secrets through a screen.

Sonic: Fine then, will you be at the party?

StrangerDanger: Not really.

Sonic: How will you tell me then?

StrangerDanger: You'll see.

I groaned and put my phone away, he always ends up with the same answer, it's getting really annoying, but that makes want to talk with him more, since he hasn't answered any of my questions yet and just makes me more and more curious.

I stood up from the couch and stretched, I hadn't gone for a run for a while, I didn't want to run across Amy or even worse, Scourge. I really, really dislike him, something just makes me want to throw up every time I see him. I don't know if it's the awful smell of cigarettes or just his personality.

I sighed and made myself walk outside of the house, I left my phone back since I didn't want it to distract me from my run. I took a deep breath and started running to the forest, not with my normal speed, but a slower pace.

I smiled as the air hit my face, I had almost forgotten this feeling, I ran through the trees, hearing the calming sound that the leaves made as I ran past them. I was sure that nothing was going to bother me today.
