Y/n P.O.V 

It's been 2 weeks since Laxus and his pack joined my own.  Since then, Rogue activity has risen but they haven't yet attacked. There has been no sign of Vampires but just to be sure, I signed the property of my entire land to an old friend of mine. Sirens have tried luring my men into the forest but were killed or scared away.

My warriors lined the borders 24/7. There were two sets. 12-hour shifts for each. We may be too tired to even fight the war. 

Not to mention the fact that the other Alphas refuse to lend a hand or joining me here. 

They are all assholes. Every single one of them. 

I sighed as I went through complaints from the pack. Some of the warriors, some from the wives. Now I'm even getting some from the children. 

I hated this so much. 

We needed to get this fixed and soon, or I won't even have a pack by the end of the month.

I worked at my desk. Papers scattered across the room. Neither I or Laxus made effort to pick them up. 

I began to get a lot hot so I took off the sweater I was wearing. I felt relief to my blazing skin and moan quietly. I continued my work when I felt hot again. 

The heat in my body began to be overwhelming. It was then I realized what was happening. I looked up across from me to see Laxus already looking at me. His eyes switching between black and his storm grey. 

He knew, as well as I. 

I was in heat.
