When Juan still lived in the castle he did a lot of horseback riding. It helped him relax and he just loved being one with his horses. In the winter he usually divides his time between them, and Ice Skating in the forest, or if he gets the chance in the nearby village where every citizen is checked by spies and other people who work for the palace.
In the orphanage, he needed a lot of time to get used to his positivity curse, he could live with the other one but being positive about everything the entire time.... He needed to find a way to let his negative emotions go. They were present, but he just couldn't show them. So he started running, the first month he wanted more then he could and let his body pay the price for it. Eventually Juan got to where he wanted to be. However, he wouldn't be a perfectionist if he was satisfied by it, so he kept pushing himself.
The former prince was thrilled when he got the chance to leave and live with a family far beneath his former stand. It was a new adventure for him. Working on the farm, Juan had to give up running as well because he didn't have the time nor energy for it. With some help from the villagers he learned yoga, some of those exercises were so easy you could do them everywhere at every moment of the day. Soon, he had proven himself to be a good and loyal help. The farmers family decided to reward him by taking him hunting with them. Juan gladly accepted, at first it wasn't because of the hunting itself but for the opportunity to ride again.

Personality
Back in the day, at the palace the young prince wasn't someone you liked walking into. He hated if someone started to talk to him without any logical reason. Or when someone spoke to him over a subject he wasn't interested in. But he knew that image was really important so he tried not to be himself when it really mattered. Then he was kind, patient, sweet, dreamy and always ready for something new. Now were some of those characteristics not only visible when he needed them. If you wanted to go on an adventure, Juan was the person to go. He made sure he was prepared for almost every situation possible. And he could be patient, just not all the time and with everyone. But all and foremost the prince was a real dreamer, maybe that was one of the reasons why he wasn't happy or fun to be around most of the time... He imagined a world, better, more beautiful than the one they were in. Everyone liked that side of the prince a lot more, therefore the king and queen hosted a lot of social events. Unfortunately, it made him even colder and more distant than he already was.
In the orphanage Juan turned into a sarcastic, sassy and hyper person who wasn't loved by most. It was not in his nature to ask for help or see that someone wanted to help him, if that was the case it had to be very clear otherwise he wouldn't notice it. Juan was one of the strongest there physically, so the twin sisters who ran the orphanage often dared to turn to him if there was something that needed to be done or fixed. With the curse, he got rid of some of the cold in his heart. It made him less picky when it came to helping others. Not that he had much of a choice though. After some time Juan got used to working hard, and might even have grown to like it. So when all of his other siblings left the orphanage, he decided to leave as well. He signed up to become a farmhand on the other side of the country. He did not want to stay there because his room reminded him of his siblings, who he missed more than he thought he would. At first Juan wanted to blame his curse, since he had never been good at admitting things to himself. However, deep down he knew that it had nothing to do with the curse. Maybe his heart wasn't as cold after all? From the moment he left the orphanage he used the curse in his favour, mostly in the time he traveled to his new home. He told people he was blind so they gave him free stuff, or he encouraged travelers to continue (even though he knew there was a 99% change they would die but he hates people who give up, on whatever occasion).
He liked the hard-working life, most of the time at least. Sometimes it confronted him with his weaknesses or the fact that he still felt things that were not caused by the curse but by himself. He found it hard to handle and turned into the hyper sarcastic side of him every time that happened. Despite that he got in a lot of trouble because of that, Juan didn't change it for years. People blamed him for that, and he acted like he didn't care. While he actually just didn't know what to do with it nor how to act during those situations. Until there was a doctor of some sort who gave him some tips and tricks to handle it and evolve. This was about 2 years ago, he hasn't changed a lot, but he is definitely changing.
Background
There is a gossip that Juan was the most happy and cheerful baby compared to his siblings. He never cried, but laughed. Which was impractical during the balls and other social events, since all the guests expected him to cry and be just as annoyingly cute as his older siblings. The king wanted to fulfill the expectations of his people and tried to make him cry. After some time he discovered that his youngest son got scared pretty easily and acted like a normal baby for the next half hour. The king used that to level himself up in the eyes of nobility. The queen refused to do this and started to feel disgust towards her husband. Juan sensed that and tried to please her as much as he could. Since that wasn't appreciated, Juan started to turn silent at a very young age. Affected by the aura of his parents. He grew up with a sister that was a soft and happy soul, he got jealous of her. His older brother was also way more positive then he was, even though he couldn't stand that nor the chaos that surrounded him the bond between the two was stronger then with the most others in the palace. Then his middlest sister... The one who had some serious issues. He adored her, maybe just because she had more trouble with accepting him and expressing that then he did. You will almost never hear him speak about his youngest sister. She is too unpredictable for him to handle.
When he was sent away, he had no choice but to act more social than he used to. It took less effort than he thought it’d take. But being like that made him more sensitive and he got annoyed easier. He traveled with his siblings during the nights and hid the other hours of the day. It went on like that for a week before they found an orphanage. The five royales didn’t look like their old selves at all. They all had cut their hair or gotten scars from the journey. They got welcomed by the twins who ran the orphanage and almost immediately put to work. For most of them it was strange to have to work, for Juan however, the only thing he had to get used to was doing it seven days a week. He worked a lot at the palace in and around the stables, new staff members often misplaced him to be a jockey. As his siblings left or got adopted he started to work harder so he didn’t have to feel.
As mentioned it was a surprise for pretty much the whole house Juan chose to go away and willingly live with a couple who desperately wanted a child. The couple wanted to adopt a kid but adopting someone took a lot of money which they didn't have. He found a job at a farm nearby and spent most of his time there so the family accepted that he was home during the evenings. Those evenings were cozy and fun, he started to learn about the normal people living in the country and got more and more respect for them. Sometimes it was still hard to remember he was now officially one of them. After a year Juan had impressed the family he worked for, that they invited him to come with them when they were hunting. The fact that he knew how to ride was a huge advantage, and soon he got hunting down as well.
Maybe someone had recognised them over the past 6 and half years, but never mentioned it to him nor his siblings when they were still together.
likes
Juan likes being outside a lot, while working preferably. If he isn't working Juan likes to travel and see the world, sightseeing places that aren't the typical tourist spots. Of course, there are times when he has to stay inside, but then he usually listens to the storm outside.
He also loves music, during the six years in his "adopting" family, he learned to play the guitar. He couldn’t play cause when he still lived in the castle, he never cared much about it. Something that never vanished was his love for horses, and dogs but they are a different category in his eyes. He knew he was lucky that the farmer’s family had them and was allowed to work with them.
Everything that's executed perfectly, since he is still a perfectionist.
Dislikes
As you might have guessed by now, the young prince doesn't like being locked inside and doing nothing. You could say that he hates being a royal because of all the rules and obligations that come with it. Including the uncomfortable clothing he has to wear.
Other than that he hates ignorance, arrogant people and all other negative qualities, even though he might be the same. People he dislikes are his father's spies, who are probably still active despite his death. Another type of people he doesn’t like are homophobes. Or all the people who think they know everything about the LGBTQ+ community and have an invalid opinion on it.
Things that are done halfway, or simply not perfectionated.
Juan had to eat vegetarian a few times during their run from the palace, and has sworn never to do that again. Unless it tastes better that that shît he ate back then
He knows he can’t escape it, but still hates it, the clothing he had to wear in the castle. Hopefully the fashion has changed as much as he has.
Fears
The young prince is afraid that the curse may never be broken and he won’t be able to ever show his true self to anyone ever again. He is also terrified of wasps. Yes waps, whenever he sees them he freezes on the spot.
--Curse(s)
Collorless curse
Positivity curse
-- Reaction curse
Collorless curse: In all honesty Juan got mad at his father for taking away the beauty of the world from his siblings. Especially his older brother, who was his icon. He himself didn't mind that much, it took some time getting used to and of course he misses the colours but further then that...
Positivity curse: He would get furious if he could, but can’t get further than just angry because he keeps seeing the positive side of it. Juan was shocked when he realised what happened and still doesn't get why it had to be him.
