HHistory:
Avalon was once part of the main continent named Kvenland. They lived according to the Nobility titles, which are still a thing in present-day Avalon. In that time frame, Avalon was ruled by Duchess Aislinn Arion, she was also the one who held the very first selection 210 years ago. Aislinn became queen and ruled side by side with the wizards and witches from Camelot, because of that she got the nickname: Aislinn the dreamer. It was her dream for humans and other species to live side by side. Her daughter, Alisa, discovered that murders happened all over the country, the murderers were enemies of her mother. The only way to protect the land was to break free from the continent. Therefore, she needed magic and married a wizard named Ambrose Bayard. He and his circle invited other mythical creatures to the land so there would never be a deficiency of anything. But as always, a spell as big as this one came with a cost, and at first no one knew what that cost was. Until Erebus appeared before the Queen and told her that there was a city for everyone who didn't get buried the proper way and that he and his 11 siblings would now guide the island of Avalon. The Queen had no choice but to agree, the gods gave her the eternal flame to protect the current queen. She had to hide it so it would never be found. Those 12 gods still guide the females of the royal family, therefore a gay male can only take the throne when he has a female counsellor. Some have tried but they were defeated by their own people, who suddenly started a rebellion against the throne. 50 years ago, just before the Warlock King began his rule, the gods revealed the secret of the eternal flame on paper, but after the mother of the Warlock King read it, no one ever saw it again.
