Once upon a time...

There was a happy royal family: the king, queen and their five children. However, there was one thing no one knew of... The king was a warlock and wanted the kingdom and the throne for himself. He gradually made the queen go mad with his magic, and made sure anyone but himself paid the price for it. He took things slow, but one day the queen disappeared and the king told everyone she had passed away.

Now the only thing standing in his way were his children, he had to get rid of them. He hated them and didn't want to see them ever again. Therefore he cursed them, as a warning to never come back again.

From that day on they weren't able to see the colors the world had to offer, which affected them all in different ways. Since they weren't used to living outside the palace they ended up in an orphanage and eventually in separate families.

But six and a half years after all of this took place, the king died and the kingdom needed their rulers back. So, they started a search for the lost children who were royalty once, to bring them back home. In the meantime, a regent was in charge as head of the country, but she didn't want to step back once all the children were found. Seeing how broken they all were, she set up a trap:

The first one to find their true love and to get married, will be the heir of the throne. They need to compete to one ordinary person - who was fit to rule in her eyes. The children and their new 'friends' had no other choice but to accept. To fasten things up, they set up a selection.

But there are still things they don't know about...
