That night once all of the kids were finally in bed Danny came to speak to Jessica.

"Hey, are you okay?  You seemed upset all night."

"Yeah honey, I'm fine." Jessica fakes a smile.

"You sure?  Jess, you can tell me, babe."

Jessica looks down and can't hold her tears back any longer.

"Honey, what's wrong?"

"I'm sorry, I'm fine.  I'm just tired,  I need to go to sleep."

"No Jess, talk to me.  Tell me what's bothering you." Danny holds her arms then guids her to the edge of the bed.

"It's just the same stuff, Danny.  I hate seeing my baby struggle.  I wish I could have protected her.  Danny, Why did I do so much the day I went into labor with her?  Why didn't I eat right?  Why wasn't my body enough for her?" Jessica sobs.

"Sweetheart, please don't do this to yourself!  You know that it wasn't your fault."

"Danny, how do you expect me to believe that?  She was in MY body!  I had her early and set her up for a life of problems.  Our daughter has asthma, she has arthritis, she will more than likely be behind her whole life and that's because of me!  How am I not supposed to hate myself for that."

"No.. No please don't do that.  Jessica, none of this was your fault.. It was mine."

Jessica scoffs and rolls her eyes.

"No matter what you did Danny, it was My body she was in."

"No Jessica.. It was my fault.  I cheated on you and from day one of finding out you were carrying her you had that on your mind.  I tried making it better and that's when she told me she was pregnant.  Even tough it ended up not being true, it.. it hurt you and stressed you out.. It was because of me that Arabella was born early, and I will never ever forgive myself for it.  Please don't blame yourself because you are the most amazing mother I have ever seen.  You love and care for each of our babies, you never put yourself before them, you're there for them Always.  Jessica, you're the greatest and I hope you know that."

Jessica looks at him and cries silently.
She places her hand on his cheek and he rubs her arm.

"I mean every word that I'm saying, Jessica."

"Thank you."

Danny wraps his arms around her and Jessica lays on his chest.

"I love you so much, Jessie.  You'll never know how much I absolutely adore you."

"I love you too." Jessica looks up to him.

Danny smiles softly and bends down to kiss her lips softly.

A week later.

"We have two walking babies!  We're in trouble!" Jessica laughs as Joseph stumbles towards her.

Joseph looks at her with so much excitement in his eyes.

"Good boy!" Jessica says as he throws himself on her. 

"I can't believe how big my boys are!  It makes me sad." Jessica pouts.

"Jax is gonna be seven and my baby boys are gonna be one!"

"Seven is a big number mommy!"

"I know it is, Jackson!  How is it possible for you to be that old already?"

"I don't know, I guess I grew up!"

"You did!" Jessica chuckles.

"Mommy, let's try to get Bella to walk." Sofia says standing her up.

"No honey!" Jessica lifts her body slightly off the ground and reaches her hand to the baby.

"What?"

"I-I mean.. She may not be in the mood... Let's just let her play with her toys for now, okay?"

"Okay." Sofia shrugs and takes her to play.

Danny was watching so he walked over to her and said, "Jessie, she's been doing okay.. Maybe it's time we try to get her to walk?"

"Danny, I don't know.  I'm so scared I'm hurting her legs."

"I'm sure if she's in pain then she'll let us know." He says rubbing her back.

"Yeah.. You're right... Sof, go ahead and bring her over here.  I guess we should see if she'll stand.. Let's just do standing for now."

"Okay!" Sofia smiles and takes Arabella to her mother.

Jessica smiles softly and kisses her cheek.

"Okay.. Can you stand, Bella?  Let's just see how strong your little legs are, then you can go back to playing with your sissy."

Arabella smiles and chews on her hands as Jessica holds onto her waist.
She bounces up and down while giggling.

"You're just being silly!" Jessica laughs.

"Look Jess, she's tightening her legs."

Jessica smiles and slowly releases her grip.

Arabella babbles then throws herself on the ground.

"Awe!  It's okay, you did good, Bella Boo!" Danny smiles.

"Yeah.. Good job, baby." Jessica smiles softly and tries to hold back her tears.

"Momma, why does Bella have to wear these little knee pads?"

"Well she's always crawling and I don't want her little legs to hurt.  She seems okay, but I thought maybe they'd help.."

"They are, honey." Danny smiles.

Jessica gives him the tiniest smile then continues looking down.

"Sof, why don't you go play with your sister now?" Danny says handing her to Sofia.

"Okay daddy!"

Danny watches her walk away then sits in front of Jessica and places his hand on her thigh.

"She's getting there, babe."

"I know.. It's just hard."

"I know." He rubs her thigh before she sits up and wraps her arms around him to be comforted.

Jessica lays her head on his shoulder and Danny holds her for as long as she needs him to.

November 17th.

"My baby boy's seven!  Happy Birthday, Jackson!" Jessica shouts as she throws herself on his bed.

"I'm seven!" He quickly jumps up.

"Yeah!  Happy Birthday, my love." Jessica smiles and kisses his cheek.

"Thanks, mommy!"

"Daddy made your favorite breakfast!"

"Pizza?!" His eyes light up.

"No!" Jessica laughs.

"Waffles!!"

"My second favorite!  Yay!!"

Jessica giggles.  "Let's go eat!"

Later in the day after taking him, the rest of the kids and his friends out to do something fun, they all came back ready for cake.

"Mommy, last year we went to the zoo and you were having tummy pains because the boys were trying to come out of you!  But remember how you lied and said you were fine because you wanted us to have two birthday's?"

"I do remember that, Jax! *Laughs* It's crazy to think all of that was happening a year ago!"

"And Two years ago we announced this little bean." Danny smiles and rubs his hand on Arabella's head making her smile.

"That's so crazy!  The past two years have been insane but absolutely amazing." Jessica smiles.

"You're right about that." Danny nods.

"Yeah.. Now who's ready for some cake?!!!"

"Meeeee!!" All the kids scream.

That night all of the kids were in bed except for the twins.

"You two are just so wide awake right now!"

"I think they're waiting for their birthday minute kiss from mommy!" Jessica smiles.

Danny looks at the time and says, "Just five more minutes for you, Josh!  Joe, you still have like thirty more minutes."

Joseph lays his head on Jessica's chest and Joshua blows spit bubbles on Danny.
Jessica laughs as she softly rubs Joseph's back.

"Yucky!" Danny scrunches his face making the baby laugh hard.

"This time last year your mommy was pushing her hardest to get your stubborn little booty out!"

"Oh Joshy you were a little pain!  You almost killed mommy!"

Danny chuckles and Joshua laughs with one hand in his mouth.

"You little booger!" Jessica says.

The baby claps his hands then pokes Danny's nose.

"Yucky!  You got baby drool all over daddy!
High five!" Jessica laughs.

"Dada!" He laughs.

Danny's eyes widen and he gasps.

"Joshua!  You just said dada!  Good boy!" Jessica says with excitement.

"He said dada.. Haha!  He said dada!" He smiles big.

"Awe!  He did, baby!" Jessica smiles and kisses Danny's cheek.

The next day was the boy's first birthday party.  It was going to be held at the house for their family.

"Happy Birthday my little men!" Jessica smiles and kisses their cheeks making them giggle and clap their hands.

"You just love mommy's kisses, don't you!" Jessica giggles.

"I can't believe how big your boys are, Jess."

"I know!  They're both walking now!  My house is just going to be even more of a wreck!" Jessica laughs.

George chuckles and asks about Arabella.

"She's doing well.  She's getting stronger and stronger everyday." Jessica smiles softly.

"Well that's good!  I'm glad to hear she's doing better."

"Look at them!  Is it yummy, boys?" Jessica smiles as the boys make a mess of their cake.

"Oh no!  I'm not cleaning that up!" Sofia nods.

Just laughs and wraps her arm around her.

"Alright, present time!  Boys, that's enough cake for now.  Let's clean you up." Jessica says picking Joshua up.

"Ah!  NO!" He arches his back and kicks his legs.

"Joshua!  Danny look!  He kicked his legs right into his cake!  Those are brand new pants!

Danny laughs.
"Danny it's not funny!"

"Babe, in a few weeks those jeans won't even fit him."

Jessica gives him a look.  She just wanted him on her side.

"Sorry!  Joshua, calm down.  Here, let me take them both.  I'm just gonna strip them down to a diaper.

"Woo!  Look at these naked babies!" Jane laughs as the boys stumble out beside Danny in nothing but diapers.

"Why didn't you strip down, baby?" Jessica smiles at Danny.

"Very funny." He smiles and bends down to kiss her lips.

After opening all of the presents Jessica and Danny thanked everyone for coming.

"Thank you all so so much for everything!  I know the boys couldn't care less about the presents right now and are just too obsessed with all the wrapping paper that's everywhere, but Danny and I love everything!" Jessica chuckles.

"We do!  Thank you all very much." He smiles.

While the boys were occupied with the paper and just enjoying making a mess all over the ground, Danny pulled Jessica aside.

"Hey.. Come here, let's talk." He says lightly pulling her arm.

"What's up?"

"You know, Jess.. It's a special day for us, but.. I can't help but keep replaying what horrible scare we went through with you after their birth."

Jessica listens and Danny continues.

"I remember thinking that I was going to loose you... and that... That was the worst day of my entire life." Danny says as his voice shakes.

"I don't know what I would do without you, Jess.  I hope I never have to know that feeling."

"Danny..." Jessica speaks in a whisper with tears in her eyes.

"I love you with all my heart.. and I thank God for you every single day.  You giving me another chance after all I put you through... Jess, you are the most amazing human being on this planet.  Thank you for loving me, thank you for giving me five beautiful children, and thank you for putting up with my sorry ass."

"Heh!  Don't thank me.. I'll always love your sorry ass." She smiles and gives him a tight hug.

"Haha!  Good!" Danny smiles and holds her tight.

Thanksgiving.

"Look at all these babies!  Come give grandma kisses!"

Jessica smiles and watches the older two run to Dorothy while Joshua and Joseph stumble behind, and Arabella crawls as fast as she can with so much excitement.

"I love all you little cuties!"

"We love you too, Grandma!  Happy Thanksgiving!"

"Thank you, sweet pea!  Happy Thanksgiving to you all as well!  Now!  Let me get to cooking!"

"Mom, thank you so much for coming early and helping out.  It's a little hard to get things done around here." Jessica chuckles and looks down at the kids.

"Oh I can only imagine!  It's no problem, sweetie!  I'm always happy to help!" Dorothy grabs her face and kisses her cheek.

A while later Danny's sister Angelica showed up. She was early but no one expected to help.  Anjelica wasn't the very helpful type.

Angelica had three kids, Rilyn who was 8.  Jessa who was 5, and Connor who was 17 months old.  Arabella and Connor were due around the the same time, Connor was actually due three weeks before Arabella, so it was weird to think how much older she was than him.

Jessica and her sister in law have never really had the best relationship, but have never gotten into it.  Their personalities just clash.

"Oh Jessica!  That baby isn't walking yet?!  Have you gotten her checked out?  Because Connor is practically Running everywhere!"

"No Angeli-"

"I already told you what was going on, Anj."

"Oh!  Yeah that's right.. Well *Sighs* Is she doing any better?  Can she stand at least?"

"Yes she can stand." Jessica responds coldly.

Anjelica nods and Danny places his hand on Jessica's back.

"Baby, let's go see if your mom needs help."

Jessica storms off and matches straight to the kitchen.

"Jess, I'm sor-"

"That woman always has something to say about my baby!  I know she's your sister, and I'm sorry but-"

"No, it's fine.  She's just like that.  She's very opinionated."

"She's gonna come into MY house and throw in my face the fact that my baby can't walk?  So what?! She's doing just fine!"

"She's doing great!  Just ignore her, please."

"It's just hard when it comes to your children, Danny.  I know I'm probably just overreacting but I'm so sick of hearing that from her."

"I know, baby.. and you're not overreacting."

Later on once everyone is there they all sit around talking and watching the kids play.

"Ma!"

"What pretty girl?"

Arabella babbles nonsense and Jessica giggles.

"Are you talking to me, little miss? You're such a cutie pie!"

"Baba mama, baba!" Joshua walks over to her.

"You want a baba?"

"Baba too!" Joseph smiles.

"Two baba's coming up! Bella, are you hungry?"

"Boobs!"

"How about some mashed up sweet potatoes?"

"Boooobs!" Arabella narrows her brows at her mother.

"Haha! Okay, okay! Boys, how about some sweet potatoes instead of a baba?"

The boys continue playing and Jessica chuckles. "Sweet potatoes it is."

Jessica leaves to get the boys some food and Anjelica scoots over to speak to Danny.

"Daniel! This little girl is almost two!"

"I know, she's so getting big!" Danny smiles.

"That's not my point. Why is Jessica still nursing her?"

"Anj, don't you think that's our business?"

"And Ma? Jesus, are you even teaching her the correct way to speak?"

"Anjelica enough."

"The twins seem very advanced. Daniel, you're babying her too much, especially Jessica."

"Excuse me?" Jessica says walking in from the kitchen. She heard every word Anjelica was saying.

"You're babying Arabella way too much. Someone like her needs to be pushed."

"What do you mean, Someone like her?"

"Well Jess, you know.. I mean you had her more than three months early, she's gonna be a little slow!"

"Hey!" George stands up and Jessica stops him.

"No.
Since you've gotten here all that's come out of your mouth is negative. You never come around, and now that you're here you know everything!
My baby is Not slow. Yes she's behind on a few things, but that little girl is a miracle. How dare you come into MY house and tell me that I'm babying her too much. I don't wish what happened to Arabella on anyone, but if you only knew what we've gone through.." Jessica tears up.

"Don't you ever say anything about my baby girl again. Do you understand me?" Jessica's voice was shaky.

Anjelica looks away and doesn't respond.

"Anj, you need to apologize to Jessica."

Anjelica glares at Danny.

"What?"

"Apologize."

"I don't need to-"

"Danny, I honestly don't want to hear it. Can we just move on? It's Thanksgiving, let's just be nice.. Be thankful."

Arabella crawls to Jessica and she picks her up.
Jessica kisses her cheek a few times then says, "Danny, will you please give the boys their food? I'm going to go feed, Bella."

"Sure."

Jessica sat in Arabella's nursery and lightly rocked her as she ate.

"You're just special, baby.. You'll catch up to your brother's, don't you worry, Princess." She speaks in a soothing voice as she gently caresses Arabella's little hand.
