Trisha didn't answer him.  She just stared at him with tears in her eyes.

"Trisha.  Is He Mine?"

Her lips quiver and she nods her head.

"Yes.  I'm sorry Danny.. He's yours."

In that moment Danny's world fell apart.  He and Jessica had made so much progress and now this.  He didn't know how she would take it.  Obviously not well.

"But.. You said you weren't."

"Danny, after what your wife went through with your daughter.. I couldn't let her worry about that.  I had no choice.  I never wanted you to know.  I moved to Texas right after.  I moved in with my aunt.  I'm here visiting family."

"I just.. This can't be happening.  This wasn't supposed to happen."

"It's not his fault!  This is something you and I did that was wrong.. But out of a situation that hurt so many people.. I got him.. and he is my world.  We don't need you, Danny."

"Toys daddy!  Toys!  Don't forgot about da toys!" Joseph shouts.

Danny looks down at them and shakes his head.

"I have to go.. I um.. I'll call you so we can talk."

"Danny, it's fine. We really don't need to do that.  You just go back to your family and pretend you never even saw us."

"I can't do that.  I couldn't live with myself."

At this point Danny had still yet to look the little boy in his eyes.

"How long will you be here?"

"Till the twenty third."

"Okay.."

Danny looks down at the boys then closes his eyes and takes a deep breath.

"Goodbye."

"Bye bye!" The little boy smiles and waves.

Danny pauses and looks down to the boy.

He did look like Danny.  This was the strangest feeling.  This was his child.. He immediately felt some type of connection with him, but this little boy wasn't Jessica's, and that hurt him more than anything.

Danny softly smiled and lifted his hand to wave.  He then cleared his throat and walked away.

Jessica arrived home before Danny.  Arabella was still out so she was catching up on some cleaning.

"Hi baby!  How was shopping with the boys?"

"Good.. They're sleeping now."

"Awe!  Look at my precious little boys!" Jessica smiles as Danny walks in and lays both boys down on the couch.

"So uh... How was lunch?"

"Great!  Arabella tired herself out though." She chuckles and looks over to Arabella sleeping on the couch.

"Heh.." Danny chuckled and looked down.  Something was obviously bothering him.

"Is something wrong, honey?"

"Hm?  Oh.. Uh no!"

"You sure?"

"Yeah.. The kids just drove me crazy." He chuckles nervously.

"Awe I'm sorry!  Well come over here!  They're all asleep.. Let's cuddle!" Jessica smiles cutely as she holds her arms out to him.

"Oh Jess you're killing me!"

Danny walked over and sat beside her.

He looked her in the eyes and places his hand on her side.

"Honey, what's wrong?" Jessica asked because Danny's eyes were tearing up.

"I just love you.. I'm so sorry for the times I fuck up.  Jessie, I want you to know that I love you so so much and nothing and no one will ever change that!"

"Honey I know!  Oh my gosh, sweetheart why are you crying?"

Danny nods his head and buries his face in her chest.

"I'm sorry."

"What did you do?"

"Nothing.. I.. I didn't do anything.. I just really appreciate you and I love you."

"Well thank you.  I love you too.
Now stop your crying, precious!  I don't know what's gotten into you, but don't be so sad!" Jessica wipes his years with her thumbs and softly kisses his lips.

"You're amazing.  I couldn't have asked for anyone more perfect."

Jessica smiles then hugs him tight.

A few days have past.  Danny got ahold of Trisha and went over to meet her.

He told Jessica he was having lunch with some guy friends that were in town.

"Danny, I don't know why you're here.  We don't need anything."

"We need to talk!  How could you keep this from me?  Does he know who I am?"

"No he doesn't.. and I told you why I did it!  Danny.. I was young.. I was stupid and I hurt someone who seems like a very nice woman.  I've grown a lot in the past three years.. I don't want you to tell your wife.  Please just live life normally."

"How do you expect me to do that?"

"Danny.."

"I can't."

Trisha sighs.

Danny looks down and that's when his tears start.

"How do I tell my wife?  I can't not be in his life.. He's my.. He's.."

"Mama I up!" The little boy walks into the room after a nap.

"Okay baby.  Why don't you play in the room for a while?"

"I no want to.. Mama.. Who dis?" He says rubbing his eyes and walking closer to his mother.

"Who dat, mama?" The little boy points to Danny.

"This is Danny, baby."

"Hi.."

"You from da store!" He smiles.

"Yeah.." Danny chuckles.

"Why you here?"

"I just came to talk to your mother.. What's his name?" Danny asks Trisha.

"Coltan."

"You call me Cole!"

"Okay.. Cole."

"Haha!  Yeah, dat MY name!"

Trisha chuckles and kisses the side of his head.

"Cole, why don't you go and find Mimi?  You guys could play a game!"

"Okay!"

He takes off and Trisha looks to Danny.

"You seem so different."

"I am.. I hate the old me, Danny.  I despise her." She says with tears filling her eyes.

"Please just tell me your little girl is okay."

"Yeah.. I mean she's had some issues but nothing too bad, thank God.  She's three now and she's a little firecracker!" Danny chuckles at the thought of his sassy little girl.

"That's good!  I'm happy to hear that."

Danny was looking down just thinking.

"Danny.. Go home.  Be with your family."

"No.. Trish I-I don't.. I CAN'T just leave.  This is... He's my son.  I want to see him.. I can't just leave and never look back."

"Before we tell him.. You need to talk to your wife.  I want her to know about this, I don't want to be sneaking around behind her back.."

Danny looks down and buries his face in his hands.

"I don't even know how she'll react.  How do I tell her?"

"You're gonna have to figure that out yourself."

"She won't.. Oh gosh.."

"I'm sorry.. I feel for her, Danny.  I really do.  Not only did her husband of at the time what.. Ten years?  Cheat on her, then she almost lost her child.. Now this.  I truly am sorry to her for what happened.. But I don't regret my child.  That little boy is the only joy I have.  He's changed me for the better."

When Danny got to the car, he took off.  He didn't know where he was going.  He just drove. 

"Fuck Danny!" He says loudly as he hits the steering wheel.

"How could you do this?  Why did I do this!!" Danny cries.

"Jessica.. My poor Jessica.. What will she say?  Oh gosh.. I love her so much.  How am I gonna tell her about this? 
This changes us.. This will change everything!"
