Adrien's POV:
"Ladybug! It's me Cat Noir!"

Her head turns in my direction, then she runs across the buildings with a worried face.

"Wait! M'Lady! Stop!"

I hop out of the window and run after her.

She speeds up, not realizing that she is about to be cornered.

Then she disappears.

"Ladybug?"

I don't understand. There's no way she could have just disappeared. I must have been daydreaming. Although I wish it was true.

I walk across the tops of the buildings. "I still can't believe that she was here and just disappeared. I know she was here. I felt her presence in my heart. I know she was here. She had to be." A tear falls from my eyes on the building rooftop.

"Get it together me. You don't want to be akumatized do you?"

"Look mommy! It's Cat Noir on top of that building. Hi!"

I look down at the little girl, waving at me with the biggest little smile.

I wipe the tears off my face and wave back.

"Where's Ladybug?"

The pain that just fell off my chest came back like a boomerang.

Ladybug is missing. I swear I just saw her. I felt her presence. She's gone without a trace.

"I-I'm not sure. But trust me, I will find her. "

"Promise," the little girl says holding out her pinky.

I jump down and cross pinkies with the girl.

"Would I ever lie to my Buggaboo?"

Aww the feels. Sorry this chapter is short......summer is busier than I thought.
