I would like to say thank you so much to those who has been with me since chapter one, who puts up with my crappy writing and long updates. I know i said 'few more chapters' but i think it just take one long ass chapter for it to end which is why this is the final chapter. 3rd person POV

"I'll be right back" Yoongi said as he is standing up from his seat, already finished eating his pasta. Jimin was thinking on how to talk to Jin alone without making it suspicious, look up to Yoongi, startled by the sudden statement, he was hoping that Yoongi would help him with the situation at hand. "Where are you going?" He give him the 'doe eyes' and Yoongi understand that very well. He chuckled while ruffling Jimin's hair, "to help a friend"

"Hyung you have a friend?? Who would want to be your friend?" Taehyung butt in.

"Careful brat, keep talking like that and im gonna strangle you at home" Yoongi warn but Taehyung just laugh and sticking his tongue out at Yoongi. Jimin laughed and Yoongi just give out the 'im done with you, kid' expression before exiting the diner.

Jimin was left with Jin and Taehyung and he has to put up with Jin's dad jokes, please do notice the plural, and also Jin's sweet gesture towards Taehyung. Jimin has never seen his boss act like this towards anyone so he is at loss, of all the people in their life, it had to be Taehyung.

Jimin notice that a lot of people start to come in on the diner and he look towards the clock, its 6.05PM. Usually its around 7PM for people to start coming in but Jimin dont think much of this. The order were coming in and Jin had to get back to the kitchen to help with the order.

Perfect! Jimin think to himself.

Before he could say something, he notice that the customers, which is mainly girls had been staring at them and whispering to each other and giggle. Jimin then lean closer to Taehyung who is already finished his burger.

"Taehyung-ah" Jimin whisper.

"Nae Jimin?" He whispered back, leaning towards Jimin.

"Do i have something on my teeth? Hold up let me smile at you" He whispered before he smile.

The giggle is louder now.

"Nope, nothing, nada, none-" Taehyung joke around.

"I swear to god i will help Yoongi to strangle you at home if you lied to me" Jimin tries to sound intimidating, while whispering.

"There's nothing, here look" Taehyung put his phone in front of Jimin, already on camera mode. He look at Taehyung, then his phone then around the diner where most of the customers are looking at them, checking his teeth would be bad and embarrassing so he shove the phone back to Taehyung.

"Okay okay fine i believe you" Jimin whisper.

"You just said you dont believe me, here look" Taehyung still try to shove his phone in front of Jimin.

"And i said i believe you" Jimin push the phone back to Taehyung and they went on their whisper fight for a few second, they didnt even realise that Jin was behind Jimin, watching them with a puzzled look. He bow down a bit, close to Jimin.

"What are you guys doing??" In a whisper. Both boys were surprised and then laughed at their silliness. Jin just shook his head and look at Taehyung, he's glad that Taehyung seemed happy here and relax enough to be joking around.

"Jimin-ah, we're short on waiter, can you help me? Its not even 7PM and there's a lot of customers already" Jin feel bad asking Jimin to help him even though today is his off day but they're really short on staff and he promise to give Jimin another off day.

Jimin agree right away, not because of the off day, because this will be a perfect chance for him to talk to Jin without acting suspicious. He asked Taehyung if he is okay to sit alone for a while and he just nod his head. He offer to help them but both Jin and Jimin shoot down his offer with a 'no no no'. Jimin put on his apron and start delivering food. There were giggles and mini scream can be heard. Jimin just give them his signature smile before giving Taehyung a shot of glare, because he is laughing at him. Its not a surprise to Taehyung that Jimin has girls crushing on him, he was popular, even back then.

Lucky for you girls his boyfriend is not here.

Yoongi has gone for about a good 30 minutes and Taehyung was bored because he was left alone by everyone so he decided to play with his phone. He likes to update himself with whatever happening around him. As he was scrolling down, one headline almost killed him just by reading it.

Kim Taehyung is just a male slut!

He put his phone down almost instantly, trying to calm himself. Panic wash over him, too many thoughts has come to him all at once.

What if omma and appa read them?

He close his eyes and look around the diner to look for Jimin but he was meet with the eyes of most the female customers, he smile politely and nod which made them frantically nod their head and wave.

He need to calm himself. He has prepared himself for this, he expected this, but still..

There were pictures attached to the article and after he collect some courage for himself, he clicked the headline and scroll through, refuses to read the articles, he's just curious about the pictures that leave thousand of comments.

It was a picture of Jimin holding his hand and they put a circle on it. It was from the party. He scroll down again and find a various pictures of him and Jungkook during their ice cream date. Pictures of him walking side by side with Jungkook, laughing with him and one picture stood out the most to him is when Jungkook shove the ice cream into his mouth. Taehyung thought that although he wish he saw the pictures under a different circumstances, he cant help but to notice how happy they both look.

Right on time, Jungkook was calling him. At first he was having a panic attack. He must've saw it somewhere or read it, or worse someone must've told him about it. He cant help but to overthink, he's scared but not enough to reject the call.

"Hello" he tries to sound cool and failing.

"Hey Tae, its me. Are you free this evening?" Jungkook as on the other end.

"Emm.. im with the boys though at the moment. Why?" Taehyung sounded a bit guilty.

"I was just thinking of taking you out on a date" He sounded shy. Its crazy how Taehyung know that Jungkook is shy right now.

"Aren't you outstation?" Taehyung ask, he was sure that Jungkook told him he'll be outstation and be back very late.

"Something happened so we got back early and i uhhh..... i-i, i really miss you.."

Taehyung can hear Jungkook's smile, is he crazy? Is he imagining things now? Suddenly all of the negative thoughts just vanished, all of his worry just evaporated into thin air. That's the effect of Jungkook has on him, he cant help it.. he cant deny it. Only Jungkook can do this to him. No matter what he has done, it had to be Jungkook.

"I miss you too" Taehyung said sincerely, from the bottom of his heart. It almost brought tears to his eyes and he feel extremely relieve, saying it out loud.

"Can i please, take you out on a date?" Jungkook asked and Taehyung said yes. Taehyung agree that Jungkook will pick him up at his parents house in 1 hour. Taehyung then text Yoongi to ask him if he's coming back to the diner or not. Yoongi replying him saying that he's about to enter the diner. Taehyung was standing up, about to go to Jimin and tell him about the date he has when Yoongi came up.

"Oh hyung! Are you done helping your imaginary friend? Ah! Aah! Ahh! Ahhhh!!" Taehyung was headlocked by Yoongi.

"You brought this upon yourself, brat!" Yoongi shows no mercy.

"Ahh im sorry im sorry! Out! Tap out tap out tap out tap out!" Taehyung said while tapping Yoongi's hand countless times. Yoongi release his grip.

"Why is my boyfriend headlocking my bestfriend?" Jimin ask both of them. He was done serving the customers. Taehyung just giggled while Yoongi just roll his eyes. Jin just as shock as Jimin are.

"Are you done here? I have somewhere i need to be" Taehyung said to Jimin and glance to Jin. "Where are you going?" Jimin asked. "Jungkook is taking me out on a date" his reply in a shy, bashful kind of way but made all the 3 boys give a complete different reaction.

Jin was shock and completely still.

Jimin is smiling but glancing to Jin, he's happy but he feel guilty.

Yoongi just smirk, proud.

Taehyung pays no attention to their reaction because he thought that different people react differently on certain things. Jimin just mutter a simple 'oh okay' and the boys gather their things. Jin has not said anything to them as he is still standing still in his place, looking at how happy Taehyung look right now.

They said thank you to Jin and before Taehyung could turn around, Jin grab his hand. "Taehyung-ah. Are you free tomorrow? I kinda need your help with something"

Taehyung remember Namjoon is working on his final case before his marriage leave and repetitively told him that he is okay closing that case alone and told him to enjoy his days before he started working which he agree gladly.

Taehyung smile warmly at Jin and says that he'll text him tomorrow which make Jin smile in relief but the smile fade when he accidentally take a glimpse at Jimin.

Jin remember the talk he and Jimin just had, he know what he's doing is wrong but he just can't help it....and he has made his decision.

Park Taehee has been teasing Taehyung non-stop about his date with Jungkook and honestly speaking, Taehyung think his mother is more eager that he is.

"Ohhhh Baby why don't you wear something light and thin so Jungkook can warm you up and maybe you guys might be back to business? Yeaaaaah?" She is giving him the look and Taehyung throw a pillow at her which he accidentally hit her face. Taehyung was laughing until the pillow hit her then he came towards her "eomma im so sorry i didnt mean to, are you okay? He was worried but it dissipated when he heard his mother giggling. Relieved.

"Im so proud of you, baby bear" she said, caressing his cheek and Taehyung just give his signature boxy smile in return. "Come on, lets get you ready. We wouldn't want Jungkook to wait now do we?" She said with a smirk. "He's been an absolute ass for 9 months, let him wait" Taehyung said and his mother gasp, mouthing 'ass' and they both giggle.

Taehyung was putting his cloths that was on his bed back into the closet when he got a text from Jungkook, saying he's outside. After giving him a quick reply, Taehyung took a quick glance at himself in the mirror, making sure he look perfect for their date. He know that he's married to Jungkook and it seems silly that he's nervous about their date but its been a while since they been in one and suddenly it feels like their first time.

He went downstairs to find Jungkook talking with his parents, he look casual but no less perfect in Taehyung's eyes. The same goes to Jungkook, Taehyung could wear any of his fancy pajamas on their date and he would still look perfect in his eyes.

They bid Taehyung's parents goodbye and went on their date. Jungkook open the door Taehyung, trying to be the perfect gentlemen.

"Where are we going?" Taehyung is putting his seatbelt on.

"Honestly? I have no idea" Jungkook said and Taehyung give him the look. "I told you, i miss you. We can just drive around and if there's a place you want to go then i'll take you" he said, smiling.

"You have no plan? Nothing at all?" Taehyung ask again. "I do have something planned for us"

"Mind sharing with me?" Taehyung asked, earnest.

"Only if you give me a kiss" Jungkook answered, showing Taehyung his bunny smile which Taehyung just roll his eyes. Blushing.

Jungkook just laughed, loving this moment and he silently pray that this moment will never go away.

Both Jungkook and Taehyung just drive around and talk about everything and anything, telling each other how much the other had missed. It was like they never had any problems to begin with, like they weren't on the verge of divorce.

Jungkook then pull over on the and told Taehyung to cover his eyes with a tie that Jungkook brought. Taehyung was reluctant but Jungkook convince him and finally, he agrees. Jungkook guided him to a place which Taehyung repetitively told Jungkook to never let him go which he replies with never every time.

They stopped and Jungkook finally loosen the tie. It was a blur at first and then Taehyung's vision became clear.

Speechless

"How did you-?" Taehyung couldn't finish.

"Courtesy of the 'Mother-in-laws' I swear mine is even more excited than yours. I was buying them some time to decorate and i thought that i wouldn't make it, made me nervous and i've been acting like a wreck the entire night i am so sorry i was just nervous-" Jungkook was cut off, Taehyung had just kiss him. It was quick, it was warm. It was perfect.

"Just shut up and kiss me" Taehyung said, red. A blushing mess.

Jungkook caress Taehyung cheek, gazing into his eyes with love and longing before connecting their lips together, pulling Taehyung closer.

"I love you, Jeon"

| The next day |

Taehyung is meeting with Jin today as he promised. Apparently Jin just need his help with groceries shopping for the restaurant. Jin said he feel bad that he's asking for his help but Taehyung said he didn't mind. He has nothing to do anyway.

As Taehyung arrived, he smiled at Jin who seemed a little bit overdress just to go for groceries shopping. He chuckled.

"Hey Tae, ready to go?" Jin said in a cheerful way.

"To buy groceries, OFF WE GO!!" Taehyung said, excited. He finally has friends outside of Jimin and Yoongi.

They went shopping using Jin's car as he insist that Taehyung's car is too pretty and expensive for groceries shopping.

They went on and on and Jin seems to be like, Taehyung wouldn't dare to say but Jin is like, courting him in some sort, but he doesnt want to think of it like that, so he ignore the signs.

He's been texting with Jungkook non-stop ever since last night and Jin just glance at Taehyung happy face, hurted that it wasnt him that made Taehyung happy like that because just because Jungkook made him smile like that doesnt mean that he cant.

"Taehyung-ah, its rude to just play with your phone" Jin said, faking a sadness that is actually not so fake. "Oh right hyung. So sorry" instantly, Taehyung put his phone in his pocket, but chimes after chimes can be heard and Jungkook is replying his texts and Jin turn around and raise his eyebrow, didn't say anything.

Taehyung just give him his boxy smile, made Jin's heart flutter. "I'll put it on silent" and he did. He them focused on helping Jin choosing the groceries and it took them around an hour and a half to get everything. Taehyung notice that people has been staring and looking at him a lot more that usual but Jin told him to shrug it off and he did, ignoring the signs again.

They're on their way back to Jin's Diner, Taehyung and Jin were silent the whole way back and Jin look like he is in deep thought. Maybe he has a lot in his mind so Taehyung decided not to bother Jin. He take out his phone to reply Jungkook's text and the last text from Jungkook almost gave Taehyung a heart attack.

Jungkook has send him a link to which leads to the stuff he read about himself yesterday. All those headlines and things that he read that aren't true. The link was sent with a message.

Babe, we'll sort this out okay? Don't worry.
I got you.

Taehyung smile, the little message made him feel a little at ease. A little. He's glad that he doesn't have to deal with this alone. Jungkook knows about it, he read it and he choose to stay with him. That they're in this together.

Its okay Taehyung. You got this.

He replied Jungkook, saying that he's okay and he's with Jin, helping him with the Diner stuff. He tried to distract himself from self-destructing. They arrived at the Diner and Taehyung help Jin unload the stuff. Jin is back to his original self where he would talk about anything and make jokes.

Jin was talking about a new recipe when Jungkook texted Taehyung, telling him that he's nearby. "Jin hyung, you got this right? Jungkook is here and im meeting him" Taehyung didn't wait for Jin to answer when he leave the kitchen through the back door. He's about to text Jungkook when he hear the door swing open, along with the sound of rush footsteps.

"Taehyung" Jin called out. "Stop doing this to yourself"

"Do what hyung?" Taehyung asked.

"Going back to him. Forgiving him. For loving him. Just stop, he doesn't deserve you" Taehyung mind went blank. He has no idea what to do, he has no idea whats going on. Taehyung's brain finally rebooting.

"I will always put him first. He's my husband, we're married" Taehyung answered, confident.

"Like he did the same to you? He lied to you Tae, again and again and again. How many chances have you given him? How many times has he blow it off?" Jin asked.

"Why are you saying this?" Taehyung couldn't fathom a reason as to why Jin would do this to him.

"I like you Tae, i like you too much to see you get hurt" Jin confess.

"I can make you smile just like he does. I can make you happy just like he can. I can do much better if you give me a chance. I would never hurt you like he does. I would never lie to you like he did. I would always put you first. You just have to choose me." Jin plead.

So this is the signs that he's been ignoring. It lead to this.

"Im sorry Jin.. im so sorry for ignoring the signs.. im sorry if i lead you on in some way, but you know where i stand. I have been honest with you since day one. I like you Jin, you're my first real friend outside of Jimin and Yoongi and i dont want to lose you... but please, dont make me choose.. because it'll always be him." Taehyung said, he is heartbroken. He knows that its selfish but he really dont want to lose this friendship.

Jin walk towards Taehyung, slowly, defeated.

"If only i found you first. If only you meet me first" Jin said while caressing Taehyung's cheek.

"Im sorry" Taehyung whispers.

"You asked me why i said those things.. i said it because i saw Jungkook just around the corner. I said it to hurt him. I said it because i want him to understand. I said it, because i want him to heard it" Jin said, looking serious.

Taehyung take a step back, away from Jin. How could he?

"He went to the left, he leave right after i said all those things. Taehyung, just because i said it to hurt him does not mean that i did not meant it. If he decided to leave you because of what i said, then come back to me." Jin said.

"I'll let you go for now. Go find him"

/ Jungkook /

Jungkook is beyond pissed. He is angry. He overheard the conversation that Taehyung and Jin said and his blood is boiling and worse part is, Jin is right.

Jungkook is so pissed at everything. He is angry after reading the article about Taehyung and Jimin and now its Jin. He is walking aimlessly in the alley that he didn't even realize where he is. Its was a bit dark and look abandon, although there is a couple shop and a police station nearby, nevertheless, he keep on wondering around until a guy stops him.

"You look pretty to be walking around here" the guy said.

Jungkook glare at him. "Leave me alone"

" Give me your wallet, your watch and your phone then i'll leave you alone" he chuckled.

"Its not wise, trying to rob me. I wouldn't recommend doing it solo, especially when im this angry." Jungkook sound so serious. God help those who cross path with him right now.

"Good thing i brought company then" slowly, one by one, came out from their hiding place. They all wearing hood and got Jungkook cornered in a small alley. Jungkook look around, he's definitely outnumbered. There's 5 guy altogether.

"Now, enough chit-chat. Give me all your valuables!" The guy in front of  Jungkook said.

"Or what?"

"Or else.." he took out a knife from his pocket and the rest do the same. Seeing that Jungkook is not budging, all of them charge at him at once.

/ Taehyung /

Taehyung has been trying to call Jungkook but no luck, but when all of the sudden his call went straight to voicemail, he knew something is up and he has a bad feeling. He called everyone, his mother, Jimin, Yoongi, Jungkook's mom, everyone. Taehyung is having a panic attack.

Jimin and Yoongi help search for Jungkook. He keeps on calling Jungkook but still it went straight to voicemail. Taehyung is running around, looking for Jungkook, he doesn't care when people look at him, he doesn't mind the whispers, all he can think about is finding Jungkook and clear the misunderstanding because god knows they have enough already.

He was running aimlessly for about 5 minutes when he heard commotion and sound of ambulance sirens. He didn't see who got carried inside but he pray that its not Jungkook. He run towards the commotion and went to one of the policeman.

"What happened here?" He asked, breathless.

"An attempt of robbery. He was walking around when he was jump by 5 guys. The guy should've know better than to walk around alleys alone. He look like he's not from around here though, just look at the watch he's wearing" he said while showing Taehyung the watch he was talking about. It was sealed inside an evidence bag.

Taehyung's heart stopped. Its Jungkook's. And it has blood stain on it.

No!

"Where are you guys taking him? Which hospital?" Taehyung asked while gripping on the watch.

"Em Sir, im gonna need you to let the wa-" he was cut off by Taehyung.

"Which hospital??!"

"K Seoul Hospital" The policeman answered in a hurry, surprised by Taehyung. 

He then grab the watch from the policeman's hand and rum back to the diner where he left his car. Jimin called him to ask if he found Jungkook yet but Taehyung is crying mess, unable to utter any words. Jimin told him to go back to the diner which is where he is heading.

Taehyung tries to explain to Jimin and Yoongi but all he can say is 'Jungkook' 'hurt' and 'hospital' while showing them Jungkook's bloody watch and they understood right away.

They arrived at the hospital pretty fast when Jimin is driving with 'barely legal speed limit' considering that its an emergency. They drop Taehyung off at the entrance while they went to park the car. Taehyung went to look for Jungkook in the emergency room where he is stopped by the nurse.

"Jeon Jungkook, where is he?" He asked the nurse.

"Sir please step back" the nurse try to talk to Taehyung, not that he is listening.

"Jeon Jungkook. He was with the ambulance earlier and the policeman told me that he's here, where is he??" Taehyung asked again.

"Sir please. If you insist on causing ruckus then im gonna have to call the security. Please, step back sir" the nurse told him.

"Where is he?? I need to see him! Im his-"

"Taehyung?"

It was Jungkook's voice and it came from behind him, he turn his back only to find Jungkook standing at the door looking puzzled.

3rd person POV

Jungkook bring Taehyung into one of the emergency ward where he just did his check up and close the door.

"Taehyung, what are you doing here?" Jungkook asked.

"Im here for you! They told me you got robbed! You got hurt and the watch and and and the blood and ambulance and the policeman said-" Taehyung was rambling.

"Stop stop stop baby, you're not making any sense. Take a breath for me okay? Slowly. Talk to me" Jungkook caress his cheek, hoping it would help calm Taehyung down. Taehyung tries to calm down but the blood stain on Jungkook shirt made him lose his shit.

"Hey no no no its not mine. Baby its not mine. I didnt get hurt. Taehyung im alright" Jungkook said hurriedly. "Its the robbers, its not mine. Taehyung im okay" he unbotton his shirt to show Taehyung that he did not get hurt at all.

Taehyung cries in relief, he is so relied that his leg give out. Jungkook had to carry Taehyung and he cling onto Jungkook, scared to let him go. Jungkook sit on the bed with Teahyung on his lap. He rub circles on Taehyung's back, attempting to calm him.

"Dont ever do that to me again" Taehyung whimper in his cried while clinging onto Jungkook.

"I love you Jungkook, i dont care what other people think. I cant control them. They can say whatever they want. As long as you're with me.. all the bad days mean nothing to me, with you.." he look into Jungkook's eyes, tearing up. His mind is a mess.

"I hate that i cant argue. I hate that he is right. I hate how bad i have been treating you. I hate that he's with you while you're not with me. I just hate the fact that he is, perfect for you" Jungkook whisper.

"Jungkook please.." Taehyung plead, scared.

"But even so, i refuse to let you go..because you're mine. And i know i screw up, i know i let you down way too many times and i know that i dont deserve this..but if you let me, i'll do right by you..i promise that i would always put you first, that if im ever in a bad situation i would always talk to you first. I would never leave you alone and i promise to be by your side.. if you'll take me back.." Jungkook breath out and putting their forehead together, his hand on Taehyung's waist.

"You're so coy Jeon Jungkook, i just told you i love you and you still ask me that?" Taehyung whispered.

"I need you to say it out loud, i need to know for sure that you choose me" Jungkook said and Taehyung see it in his eyes. The uncertainty. Just like how he was once when he saw Jungkook with Lisa, this time its Jungkook's turn, about him and Jin.

"Just like i told Jin hyung earlier, it'll always be you. No one else for me but you. Its just you. Only you. Right from the start it was you Jungkook and-" Taehyung is trying to be sweet but Jungkook cut him off with a kiss.

"Okay i get it" Jungkook said in between the kiss. He can feel Taehyung's smile which made him smile and their kiss turn into a toothy kiss.

"The same can be said for me too." Jungkook told Taehyung.

"I love you Jeon, thank you for coming back to me"

Taehyung gaze into Jungkook's eyes and he can see, as clear as day, that Jungkook love him just as much as he does. He's not uncertain about anymore, he's bot insecure about Lisa anymore. Jungkook made it clear to him. Yes, those 9 months hurt him and yes he cant say for certain that Jungkook wouldn't hurt him again but this time, he wouldn't ignore the signs.

He and Jungkook sure made a lot of mistake along the way of their marriage, it was a silly misunderstanding which can be avoided if only they talk to each other. But what's done is done, all they can do is learn from their mistake.

And he already made peace with his past, he found closure about him and Jimin and one day, he hope that Jin can made peace with his decision as well.

It has been long, painful and rollercoaster ride for Taehyung but if going through all of that just to get him and Jungkook here, at this moment, then he'd do it all over again. He'll go through it all over again because he likes where he ended up.

Finally! Its way too long i am so sorry 😭 but i finally made it. Im sorry you guys waited so long and im sorry if the ending is a bit....meh but i'll be publishing some bonus chapters so it wouldn't be hanging. 😅

As you can see, i dont have a proper title for this chapter so i figured that i'll let you guys decide what 's the title of this chapter should be.
