That was nine months ago. Everything went back to normal. Well almost everything. Barry was still the flash and Oliver still shot people. Cait still loved him. Just the usual. Except, Barry was not focused anymore. He was always in his mind. Lost in it some may say. Oh and he had broken up with Thea about a week after. It was a mutual agreement. They thought it was for the best. Barry got with Cait and Thea got with Roy (because OTP!). And they were still friends. Now back to Barry's mind! He wouldn't stop thinking what would've happened if Oliver hadn't- no Oliver would always save him from what Slade would've done. He couldn't have had another death to drive him mad. Felicity's apparent death was enough to make him snap. He couldn't add Barry to his death list. He wouldn't. But still Barry wondered.
