"Hey, what are you doing out here? This isn't any place for some weak kids!" A man in an orange suit yelled.

"What he said!" The girl next to him added.

"You're the weak ones. Come on out, Greninja!" I called.

"Go get them Salamance!" Calem yelled.

"You want a Pokémon battle then? Fine. Go, Chikorita!" The girl ordered.

"Infernape, it's time to shine!" The boy yelled.

VS.

"Get Chikorita Calem," Ash whispered, and I nodded.

"Salamance, start us off with a Dragon Strike on Chikorita!"

"Infernape, counter it with Flare Up!"

"Greninja, use Water Shuriken to stop the Flare Up!" I yelled.

"All of the moves collided!" A referee yelled. "But the Dragon Strike hit Chikorita, and the side effects from the Flare Up and Water Shuriken brought down both Pokémon by 15 HP, but since Infernape is a fire type it goes down 30!"

Infernape - 100
Chikorita - Negative 70
Salamance - 180
Greninja - 115

"Alright Infernape, Flare Blitz on Greninja!"

"Intercept with Mist Slash!" I commanded.

"Flare Blitz's damage was cut in half, and a direct hit with Mist Slash!"

Infernape - 50 (Read the description of Mist Slash and you'll know why it wasn't doubled.)

"Salamance, Beastly Fang!"

"Direct hit! Since Infernape is an EX, 50 damage is added, making Calem and Ash the winner!"

"Guess I'm getting worn out by all the battling," I sighed. "Greninja hasn't ever gotten under 60 HP before."

"Really?" Calem asked.

"Yeah, we usually sweep so easily. Guess I haven't been dodging enough," I shrugged. "Whatever, next battle!"

"Are you sure that they're here?" I asked. "You've been trying to hear Ash's voice for the past 15 minutes."

"How do you have a watch?" Serena asked.

"Oh, whoops. Sorry that I brought a manual watch with me."

"Don't get grumpy Dawn, you've been in here a long time."

"I know, but you making me impatient isn't fair!" I yelled.

"Shut up! I think I hear him!" Serena called, and I shut up immediately. "Okay, Dawn, you have to not freak out when I do this."

"Huh?"

I watched Serena as she pulled out a Jirachi card.

"What are you going to do with that?" I asked.

"Jirachi, come on out!" Serena yelled, and to my surprise, the Pokémon Card started releasing particles that went above it. That can only mean one thing.

"Jirachi!"

"Wow, a real Jirachi!" I smiled, looking at it.

"Jirachi, use future sight to show me where Ash is!"

"Jirachi!"

Jirachi released a psychic energy that landed on the cage. It showed Ash running, but then getting stopped by the orange haired man, Lysandre.

Ash then challenged him to a Pokémon battle... and then-

"He lost?" Serena yelled.

"It's in the future, not the past, because look! You're right there next to him!" I explained, pointing at the psychic screen.

"Jirachi, go warn Ash! If he doesn't believe you're real, show him a vision of me!" I called.

"Jirachi!"

"Go!"

Jirachi squeezed through the jail bars, and flew up the staircase.

Help Ash, Jirachi. Help him. Show him what is laying in front of him. Show him everything that has happened here. Help him. Help him. Help him.
