Chapter 15

It was the end of the school day, Serena still wasn't here. She had to leave school for some reason... okay Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town, stop freaking out. She's your - crush - and she had to leave school. Ugh, why can't she tell me these things before she leaves?

WAIT THE STORY IS IN MY PROSPECTIVE??? YASSSSSSSSSSS!!!!

Nah I'm kidding... I'll Stop freaking out. Ash has been depressed all day long since Serena left. Amour much?

"Gary, we need to work on our rough draft after school. We haven't even started," Misty called.

"Okay! More time to spend with you," I replied, as I got my backpack out of my locker. "I just need to text my parents real quick. I'll just blame it on the Pokémon club. The last thing I want is them to know is that I'm hanging out with you."

I'm just trying to change my attitude a bit so Misty isn't as mad for this project, that's why we've got nothing done.

Flashback...

"GARY OAK THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!!!!" Misty screamed, bringing out her metal mallet.

"Oh Arceus!" I squeaked, and ran out of
the room, Misty following. "911! 911!"

End of flashback...

Most of the fights happen because of my attitude though, so I want to actually be good for once and stop doing that... for now anyways. I'll definitely do it again afterwards.

I ran over to Misty.

"You take way too long to just walk over to my locker," I said, rolling my eyes.

"You were supposed to come over here," Misty replied, slamming her locker. "I'm the girl."

"Jeez, Whatever. Let's go work in the Pokémon club room, it's not as crowded," I suggested, and Misty nodded. "Glad we can actually agree on something for once."

We then walked over to the club room.

"Lillie, Gladion! Hey," I waved, running over to them.

"Hmmm... why is Misty with you?" Lillie asked.

"Oh, we're partners for the English project."

"That's what Gladion and I are here for! Funny coincidence. Let me guess, you got nothing done?" Lillie chuckled.

"Correct, because of his stupid behavior," Misty replied, coming from behind me. "That includes talking to random strangers. Hurry up, slowpoke." She then dragged me by the ear. I waved to Lillie with a sad face and puppy eyes. Lillie just laughed.

"Alright I was wondering something Misty..." I started.

"No, we aren't getting together."

"That's not what I was going to ask!" I yelled. "I just want to make a truce like Ash and Serena did. It's going to be the only way we'll be able to work together!"

Misty thought for a minute, and then she smiled and replied, "Truce."

"Alright now what's this going to be about?"

"Everyone's going to talk about Ash and Serena. I know, we can talk about how Dawn got stolen!" Misty suggested, and I nodded.

"Well I suck at English so."

"Yeah, that's why I dragged you along," Misty chuckled, "To let you learn how."

"Okay, so what's first?"

"You find everything you're going to talk about. For example, we're going to talk about these things," Misty explained, as she wrote a few bulletpoints down on a piece of paper.

•That Kukui forgot to say Gary's name
•That Ash won the first battle
•That Serena won the second
•That Kukui has to go get some water and when he was gone Dawn got stolen by a orange-haired man.

"See?" Misty asked, and I nodded. "Right. So now we have to write the paper bulletpoint by bulletpoint."

(Btw this is how I actually write if you were wondering where I got this from.)

"Okay, so we can have Kukui taking role first?" I asked, and Misty nodded. "Awesome, I'm learning. I won't get a F in English anymore." We both bursted our laughing.

"Brendan over here!" I called, as he almost passed me in the hallway.

"Sorry I didn't see you, what's up?"

"Let's go into the club room to work on our essay. No one's ever in here," I suggested, pointing to the door with a pokeball on it.

"Okay, sure. Why are you so into Pokémon though?" Brendan asked. "I mean, they aren't real."

"Please Brendan, they may not be real, but they're awesome!!!" I yelled, and everyone looked at me with curiosity.
"Don't tell anyone I just screamed on the top of my lungs!" They all looked at me with more curiosity, and I just gave up. "Go to your lockers or something, just stop staring at me!!!!" I then ran into the room. They probably looked at me with more curiosity because I ran into that room.

"Soooo," Brendan started, as we walked down the hallway that led to the gym. (For the Pokémon Club room.)

"I know, I'm weird. Don't we know that already?" I asked, as I nudged Brendan a bit.

"We all do," Brendan chuckled, as we entered the gym.

"Hey Calem! Hey Brendan! Are you guys together for the project too?" Lillie asked.

"Yeah!" I stuttered, blushing a bit. And no, I didn't blush because I liked Lillie. I blushed because I like Brendan.

"Mmhmm," Brendan responded, and Lillie smiled.

"You can go to any of the Pokémon tables to work on your project," she explained, and we nodded.

We then jogged over to the table, but then I remembered how Ash usually came here after school. Where did he go?
