Tonight's the big night, tonight is where Ace will get his first AEW title match against Jon, Ace delivered his promo on Wednesday where he addressed the fact that he kicked Chris' ass and the fact that he's not scared about fighting Mox, the only down side is that they've been asked to keep it cleaner then Mox normally goes for because of Ace's previous concussions.

Away from work though Ace and Toni moved into their new house with Ariana and her dog Ralph, Ace got the dog bed because he wanted to get a dog, Ace didn't know that Toni already had that part covered, Carol was also finally discharged from the hospital and is staying at the house for a while keeping an eye on Ariana while Toni and Ace go back to work.

Toni: Nervous?

Toni asked finding Ace by the curtain tunnel with Moxley waiting for their match to start, Ace hate's the fact that he and Mox can't go full extreme but if Ace keeps on getting injured he could lose his contract.

Ace: Not really. We got this right?

Ace asked patting Jon's chest, Jon agreed then walked around to his place, Ace will be going out first being the challenger and all.

Toni: Just keep this...

Toni pressed her index finger to his forehead while he held her close to him, Duncan, Dori, Austin, Brittany and Paige watched them all happy for their friends love.

Toni: ... Concussion free.

Ace nodded pressing his lips to hers, Toni told them about them dating and they were worried about her getting hurt from Ace's lifestyle but Ace's is a changed man, he'll never hurt Toni, ever again...

... Ace smiled to the reaction he got, he was offered to leave "The Score" and go on a solo run but the idea of him, Duncan and Christian being the first ever Trio Tag Champs is kinda cool and sounds like fun.

Ace gave Toni one last kiss before walking out the tunnel wearing his usual ring gear, just the shirt and jeans with trainers, Ace was more then excited to get into ring action, especially after the crap week he just had, the only highlight is telling Toni how he felt.

Ace climbed into the ring and played the waiting game till Moxley didn't want to wait any longer...

... Ace grinned to him as Mox made his way towards him looking more then ready to kick Ace's ass and wipe that smirk off his face...

The starting bell rang and started to match up, Ace instantly went into a sprint, Mox went for a clothesline forcing Ace to duck and run into the opposite ropes, Mox turned around just in time to catch Ace...

... Mox acted caught off by this while Ace kept on the gas pedal and lifted himself over the top rope landing on the apron, Ace waited for Mox to got to his feet and slingshot himself towards Mox...

... Ace went for the first pin and forced Mox to kick out at two, Ace rolled onto his front stopping himself in a Spider-man pose panting with a smile as Mox laid on his stomach furious that Ace is actually giving him a fight.

Moxley slapped the mat frustrated before getting to his feet followed by Ace, the crowed are already hyped up by this fast paced beginning of the match, Moxley knew that he was stronger then Ace and lifted his hand for a show of strength.

Ace not wanting to back down from a challenge accepted but dropped to his knee as Moxley put pressure on his hands making his writes bend the wrong way, Ace sold the pain as Moxley smiled to causing someone else discomfort.

Ace managed to get back to his feet though and push back, the crowed behind him while Mox played shocked and let Ace look better then before, Ace pulled Mox into him while driving his knee into his mid section.

Ace started punching away crowed cheering and Mox fumbling, Ace gripped the back of Jon's head and spun around throwing him over the top rope.

Mox stumbled pulling himself up as Ace jumped onto the top turnbuckle, Ace waited till Moxley was ready then jumped...

... Ace jumped back to his feet hyping up the crowed as they thought he was in prime position to winning this title, Ace looked to the steal steps and got an idea throwing the top level off leaving the base, Ace looked to Mox as he was slowly getting to his feet and dragged him to the position.

Ace got Mox ready to powerbomb into the steel steps but Mox came too and lifted him over his head making Ace hit the steps...

... Ace held his back in pain while Moxley got himself together, Ace tried to pull himself up with Mox right behind him, Moxley eventually rolled Ace back into the ring and followed him, Mox wanted to get this over with and just dead lifted Ace off the mat and lifted him with ease...

... The crowed wasn't against Moxley so they cheered for the crazy man while he rolled Ace on his back and went for the cover.

Ref/Crowed: 1!... 2!

Ace kicked out just after 2 making Moxley curse, to the ref and Ace, Ace laid there for a second selling the hit Mox however rolled out the ring and slipped a table out the bottom of the ring drawing a loud cheer from the crowed.

Mox nodded to them with a grin setting up the table, it didn't take the man man long as he did it with his back to the ring so he didn't see Ace standing to his feet, Ace ran into the ropes behind him and charged to Moxley, the only problem is that Mox saw him...

... Moxley looked to Ace on his hands and knees, he could only let out a small chuckle and got another idea to put Ace out for good, Toni was watching with the others backstage not happy with Ace for still putting his health on the line like that.

They were distracted again though when Mox pulled another table out and set it up nearby, the crowed are now baking mainly Mox as he had the table set and lifted Ace onto his back stepping up the steps with Ace still secured...

... Mox got a brunt from that and stood up looking to Ace with a smile, Ace groaned in discomfort feeling the splinters in his back, Mox grabbed him by his hair and made him roll into the ring, Moxley was in full control of this and Ace didn't seem to have anything left in the tank, Mox however wanted to inflict a little more pain to the young wrestler... 

... Ace yield in pain as Mox put his foot on the back of Ace's right shoulder, the world knew about his dislocated shoulder 2 weeks ago so seeing this made sense, that all changed though when Ace quickly got out the hold and lifted Mox off the mat catching him by surprise before slamming him into the mat... 

... The crowed came to life as Ace quickly wrapped Mox up into a pin causing them to jump up and count along.

Ref/Crowed: 1!... 2!...

Mox got the shoulder up making Ace fall beside him both athletes panting looking to the arena roof, the crowed clapped and cheered for them both as even though they haven't had massive moments it's still a great match-up.

Ace was first too stir and got to his knees wondering what will put Mox out for the count, Ace got an idea and rolled out the ring lifting the apron up and pulling a chair out, Ace slide the chair into the centre of the ring sliding in after it.

As Ace got to his feet Moxley did as well and sent Ace's head into the chair he just got out from under the ring...

... Mox quickly hook his leg making the ref drop to the mat beside them starting the count.

Ref/Crowed: 1!... 2!... 3!

Ref: Ring the bell!

Jon got off Ace and celebrated keeping his AEW title, Ace was a little bummed out that he didn't win but he has a bright future clearly, Ace came too and sat up resting his arm on his knee looking disappointed as Mox climbed the turnbuckle showing the crowed his title.

Ace sighed running his hand through his hair while Jon walked over to him throwing his title over his left shoulder, Ace looked up to Mox while his music stopped and the crowed thought another fight was about to break out, that was until Mox held his right hand out to him.

The crowed clapped for the sportsman ship as Mox pulled Ace to his feet and bro hugged Ace congratulating the young man on his first professional title match, Ace held Mox's hand in the air clapping for him making his way out the ring, Ace held his midsection while making his way up the ramp high fiving his way passed the fans.

Ace made it backstage to see everyone looking at him surprised he's walking back through the curtain on his own two feet for once.

Toni: You did great baby...

Toni held his face planting a kiss on his lips, not to long as he's sweaty and covered in splinters, that didn't matter to him though, the splinters will wash off in the shower.

Toni: ... Now go get washed-up so we can get back to the hotel.

Ace agreed and went to walk off leaving Toni with, Duncan, Dori, Austin and Britt, they all did their job earlier as this was the co Main event, Thunder Rosa's facing Riho in the Main event, none of them are looking to stick around longer then they needed to.

Tony: Ace!

Ace was about to head to the locker room and get ready to leave when he heard his name, they all looked around to see Tony Khan jogging towards him with a smile on his face, Ace wondered what was making him so happy.

Ace: What's up?

Ace asked as Tony stopped in front of both Toni and Ace, Duncan, Dori, Austin and Brittany watched nearby, Paige left earlier to head to the hotel, she was tired.

Tony: I just got a phone call from someone you're gonna love, before I tell you though I just want to thank you for everything you've done for this company in the short time you've been here...

Ace and Toni looked worried to each other thinking that he's getting fired, even Duncan, Dori, Austin and Brittany were worried, they like this new Ace and it sucks to get fired.

Tony: ... Long story short. WWE want's to buy your contract...
