I took notice of some shadows of some of my bakugan's including leonidas' shadow forming behind, and it looked like my little brother was about to piss his pants.

Y/n: *sighs a bit* Give it a rest gang, I'm in no mood to deal with this crap with my idiot brother.

Leonidas: *sighing tone* Alright boss.

Dan: Pft. Whatever, I'm going to bed and who cares about drago anyway. I sure don't. *lands on bottom bed*

Y/n: Forget it guys, when it comes to stubbornness, my little brother has the word ingrained into his idiot brain.

Leonidas: You know since your friend got embarrassed, *looks at the others* before that battle with that lackey, the boss- *immediately grabbed by y/n while making muffled noises*

Runo: *dark look while giving a small "smile"* What was leonidas about to say y/n.

Y/n: *fist shaking with leonidas trying to break free, nervous sweat* Nothing, nothing at all. He's just tired, and *faking a yawn* it's close to my nap, so I better get going. *closes off the chat before more questions could pop up, sighs in relief* Oh thank god.

Leonidas: *gets out of my grip* One. Jackass, and two, you do know your female friends will figure out one way or the other right?

Y/n: Just let me enjoy my small victory before the inevitable doom comes.

I then went to bed knowing how much more of a pain in the ass dan will be for the next day.

*The next day*

It was another morning, and dan and I got ready to leave for school.

Y/n: *sees dan frustrated about something* Getting that guilty conscious little brother?

Dan: *annoyed* I'm not guilty about anything!

Y/n: ...-_-... Yeah sure.

Mom: Everything okay boys?

Y/n: *sighs a bit* Everything's fine mom, dan's just having some issues that he has to deal with.

After getting to school, dan and I got to the classroom, and apparently class has started yet, but all the classmates were huddled near a male classmate who had grass-colored hair and wore glasses. I recognized that the classmate was ryo inoue.

Ryo: As I said, it's moments like these that you must place a trap in advance. Then your opponent will attack like this. *shows computer, smile* See.

Random male student: *in awe* Amazing.

Random male student 2:  *in awe* Incredible.

Y/n: *small smile* Making unique strategies as usual ryo.

Ryo: *nods and smile* Yeah, It's nice that you appreciate them as much as me y/n.

Y/n: Bakugan is a strategy based game after all.

Dan: *surprised* Ryo, I didn't know you play bakugan too.

Ryo: In a way, yeah. But I've never been in a real battle before, I get a bit scared seeing the bakugans' true form, and I don't think I'm ready to battle.

Dan: Not ready? *small smirk* Heh, afraid to lose or just being a chicken.

Y/n: *serious* Dan.

Ryo: Well...I like to collect data, and make different type of strategies to counter the opponent.

Dan: *confused* Even if that's the case, isn't it the point to increase the power level of your bakugan, right?

Y/n and leonidas: 'Idiot.'

Ryo: There's more to it than that. If you use your counter ability just right, it's possible to defeat even the most powerful enemies with lower attack power.

Dan: *surprised* What, are you serious?

Y/n: *reading my manga* It's quite true little brother, the right cards can even help low powered bakugan win tough battles.

Ryo: Y/n is right dan, bakugan isn't just about strength, it's also reading your opponent's next move and behavior, while countering them to win the battle altogether.

Y/n: *small smile* Couldn't have said it any better ryo.

Ryo: *appreciated smile* Thanks y/n.

Dan: *surprised* 'How the hell can counters win the battle, and how has ryo who makes a bunch of strategis never brawled before.'

Random male student: Seriously, I have to say ryo's strategies are amazing! I bet even you would probably have trouble and lose to him, dan.

Y/n: 'Uh oh.'

Leonidas: *inside y/n right breast pocket* 'This is not going to end well.'

Dan: *pissed* What'd you say?! *smirks* Okay smart guy, I'll battle you anytime and anyplace. Even right here, right now.

Ryo: E-eh? But I...

Dan: Someone who doesn't battle and only make strategies-

Y/n: *grips dan's shoulder tight slightly, whispers* Dan don't you make a damn scene and calm down.

Dan: *removes my hand, and starts walking up to ryo* Has no right to talk to me so cockily, and make sure to keep your mouth shut!

Ryo: Ah! *loses grip on computer* My computer!

Before ryo's computer hit the floor, I was able to speed my way to grab it, before it could get busted in some way.

Y/n: *hands computer* Here ya go ryo.

Ryo: *gets computer, sighs in relief* Thanks y/n.

Y/n: Don't mention it. *looks at dan, serious* Dan, apologize, now.

Dan: I didn't even touch him!

Y/n: *serious* It doesn't matter, now apologize.

Dan: *frustrated* I-It wasn't my fault dammit! *runs out of class*

Y/n: *tries to reach out to dan* dan, wait! *frustrated sigh* Goddammit. *looks to ryo* Sorry ryo, my little brother is going through some issues, I'll make sure he'll give you a proper apology.

After class finished early, I got dan's missing homework, and started to head home.

Y/n: *sighs a bit* Dan's really being difficult, more then he usually is.

Leonidas: I agree with that statement boss, and I imagine drago is getting his scaly ass whipped around the river.

Y/n: I'm surprised that you don't want to find him immediately, leo.

Leonidas: While he might be my friend, though more of the annoying pain in my ass type. This is his and dan's issue to resolve. Knowing him, he must've riled up your brother to cause this to happen, and knowing your brother.

Y/n: Yeah, I can imagine how it went down. Hopefully he'll fix his mess, otherwise, will have to get our hands wet leo.

Leonidas: *sarcastic* Oh that'll be peachy.

After getting home, I saw dan on his bed turned to not look at me, and while I wanted to wring his neck for being a pathetic jackass to ryo, I decided to let his guilty conscience deal with him.

Y/n: 'I'm too tired for this shit for today.' *goes to bed*

*The next day*

Today there was no school, but I noticed dan left, so I decided to take a walk to clear my head for a bit. After taking some of my bakugans with me along with some gate cards and ability cards, I started heading out to the door.

Mom: Hey sweetie, are you going out for a walk?

Y/n: *nods* Yeah, I'm just going to enjoy the scenery, and I'll come back.

Mom: Alright, but do you know what's going on with daniel, he's been moody recently.

Y/n: Dan just had a bit of an argument with a classmate, he's just having issues on just being apologetic.

Mom: *sighs a bit* Why does that boy always have to be hot headed?

After giving mom a hug, I headed out to the park.

After y/n left, I decided to clean up his and his brother's room for a bit.

Mom: *get some cleaning supply, and then starts heading to the brother's shared room* I hope daniel feels better, he can get so impulsive when he isn't in the right mind, and would definitely make y/n try to punch him on the head. I wonder how many times that has happened. I think 25.

After getting to the boy's room, I started to clean up a bit and while cleaning up a bit, I took notice of the computer the boys share.

Mom:  I might as well check to see if there's anything the boys have been going through recently. *turns on computer*

The computer screen turned on and before I could check anything.

Runo: Back off on y/n, you bimbo! I've known him since our childhood!

Julie: My love for darling will prevail over someone like you, you flat-chested tomboy!

Alice: Let's calm down you too, you know y/n don't like it when you two fight. *whispers to the side* Even though I want him to focus on me more than you two.

After explaining my plan to my future daughter in laws, I turned off the boy's computer.

When I opened the box, I saw all these bakugan spheres y/n told me about. I can see why dan became extremely good in this game.

Mom: *sees some of the balls moving slightly* Um...were you just talking right now?

Some of the balls started to shake a bit, almost in a nervous way.

Mom: *small smile* I understand if y/n asked you to keep quiet whenever his father or me are around, but don't worry I won't tell anyone except for those who already know.

Vice: *mentally sighs* 'Guess pretending to be quiet isn't working anymore. Here goes nothing.' *pops open* Nice to meet you, miss kuso. My name is vice, I'm one of the boss's bakugan gang. *the rest opened up*

Mom: *surprised* Oh my! I guess...there's a long explanation for this.

Vice: Indeed ma'am. Are you ready to try to understand?

Mom: *determined smile* If it's to understand my sons better, then yes vice. I'm ready.

Vice: Alright, it all began one earth night.

*Timeskip, along with a sudden brawl freeze finishing up*

It was evening now, and after a good amount of walking, I reached the park to enjoy some peace of mind.

Y/n: *breaths in and then exhales* It's nice when no one is trying to send a bakugan to the doom dimension or dan causing trouble. *sneezes suddenly* Achooo! Dammit that's the fourth one!

Leonidas: *on right shoulder* Maybe it's one of those earth things about someone mentioning you, boss?

Y/n: Who could talk so much about me?

???: Come on baby, don't fight me on this. *grabs a wrist*

???: *tries to pull out* Let go of me, you asshole!

I then looked to see a guy who looked like he was hustling a female who was wearing a hoodie. Why does this feel familiar?

Y/n: Come on man, can you just let her go. People here just want to relax, and when I mean people I mean me.

Random punk: *lets go of girl, looks at me, cocky smirk* Oh yeah. What are you going to do about it, loser?

I outspeed the guy, and while not outright punching his gut, I lightly placed my fist on him to get the point.

Random punk: *shocked* WHA-

Y/n: *serious* Want to repeat that, loser.

Random punk: Sorry for bothering you! *immediately runs away with a dust trail*

Y/n: *looks at hoodie girl* You alright?

Hoodie girl: *sighs in relief* Yeah, thanks for the save.

I took a good look at the girl, and she had long fuchsia-colored hair hidden in the hoodie, and blue eyes. I immediately knew who she was.

Y/n: Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't you jenny sawashiro, part of jj dolls?

Jenny: *pulls down hoodie*

Jenny: *worried* Please, please don't say that out loud! I just wanted to relax!

Y/n: *raises hands* Easy, easy. I won't say anything, I want to relax too. *looks at nearby bench* Let's sit at that bench.

After jenny and I took a seat, she began to relax and I was enjoying the sunlight.

Y/n: *stretches arms and puts them behind head* So I'm guessing you wanted to have some peace from your work and didn't want to get recognized from one of your fans.

Jenny: *surprised* How did you-

Y/n: Your singing partner had the same idea, when I met her yesterday.

Jenny: You're that y/n guy who helped out jewls!

Y/n: *sweatdrops* I'm guessing she talked a lot about me.

Jenny: *nods in confirmation* Yep. She kept on saying how she was saved by a "prince" and how her heart couldn't stop beating for him when her prince treated her like a normal girl and not a celebrity. She also told me that you have an adorable face *looks closer at my face* which wasn't a lie, *teasing smile* you really do have an adorable face~.

Y/n: *blushing and stuttering from closeness* T-t-thanks for t-the c-compliment.

Leonidas: *holding back laughter, whispers* Pft. This is good blackmail material.

Y/n: *embarrassed blush, whispers* Shut it!!!

Jenny: *sees leonidas, le gasp* OH MY GOSH!!! A Bakugan! *immediately grabs leonidas, and rubs him on her face* It's so adorable!

Leonidas: *extremely annoyed and pissed tone* Let go of me you female women! Y/n help me out here!

Y/n: HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! How does it feel to get embarrassed now asshole!

Jenny: *stops rubbing leonidas* A talking bakugan?

Y/n: 'Crap!'

Leonidas: *sighs in relief* Thank god.

After some more gushing from jenny, a pissed-off leonidas, and busting my gut out, jenny gave leonidas back.

Y/n: So just like jewls, you like bakugan.

Jenny: Of course! *points to leonidas* So what's your bakugan name, y/n?

Y/n: *points to leonidas* This little dragon is leonidas, and he is quite the character.

Leonidas: *on my right shoulder* Screw you.

Y/n: Love you too buddy.

Jenny: *depressed* It sucks! I do enjoy my job along with jewls, but it wouldn't hurt to have bakugan brawl with someone.

Y/n: *pats her back* Don't worry, I bet you'll find someone.

Jenny: *looks at me with a cat-like smile, and starts acting sad* I actually do have someone to brawl with me, but they told me they don't want to, and they're being a big dummy about it.

Y/n: *crosses arms, and turns head away from her, tries to ignore* 'Don't fall for it y/n, just get through the crocodile tears.' *turns to see jenny's reaction*

Jenny:

Y/n: 'Oh goddammit.' *frustrated sigh* Fine! I'll brawl with you, happy.

Jenny: *pulls out field open card, immediately smiles* I'm glad you know you understand a girl's heart.

Y/n: *pulls out field open card* You sure you're not a fox?

Y/n and jenny: *cards glow* Field open!

Y/n and jenny: *throw down gate cards* Gate card set!

Jenny: *smile* I'll go first. *throws bakugan on her gate card* Bakugan brawl! *it lands and pops open* Gargonoid stand!

Jenny's bakugan took the form of a blue humanoid gargoyle creature.

Gargonoid: 360 G

Y/n: *looks at limulus* Ready limulus?

Limulus: Ready bossman.

Y/n: *throws bakugan* Bakugan brawl! *lands on same gate card, and pops open* Limulus stand!

Limulus: 510 G

Jenny: *surprised* Your limulus looks really tough, *smirks* but I have something to cut it down to size a bit. Gate card open! Level down!

Jenny's gate then glowed a blue color, while not affecting her gargonoid, y/n's limulus felt it strength being cut a bit.

Limulus: Hn! *annoyed* 'I hate this gate card.'

Gargonoid: 360 G

Limulus: 410 G

Jenny: Now I'll use this! *pulls out an ability card* Ability card activate! Water boost!

Gargonoid: 660 G

Limulus: 410 G

Jenny: *points at limulus* Alright gargonoid, attack limulus!

Jenny's bakugan then began to head straight towards limulus, and ready its claws to take it down.

Y/n: *pulls out an ability card* Ability card activate! Water turbulence!

The gargonoid tried to strike at limulus, but he was able to avoid the gargoyle bakugan's attack, and then with one of its sharp pincers, limulus unleashed a slash that made gargonoid roar in pain and then reverted back into its ball form.

Jenny: *shocked* How did your limulus defeat my gargonoid. It had higher attack power.

Y/n: *catches limulus* Water turbulence is an aquos ability card that if the aquos bakugan g-power is lower than the opponent's, then that said aquos bakugan wins this battle.

Jenny: *surprised* Woah. You must be a tough brawler.

Y/n: Heh, you could say that. *throws bakugan* Bakugan brawl! *lands on gate card and pops open* Fangzor stand!

Y/n's bakugan takes the form of a cobra-like monster with sharp fangs on its body.

Fangzor: 530 G

Jenny: *smiles* You're really an interesting brawler y/n! *throws bakugan* Bakugan brawl! *lands on gate card and pops open* Falconeer stand!

Jenny's next bakugan takes the form of a blue falcon-humanoid.

Jenny: While I don't know what you're planning, I'll make sure I win this one with this ability card. *pulls out ability card* Ability card activate! Abyss reign!

Jenny: Try and beat that, y/n~. *winks at y/n's direction*

Y/n: *blushing a bit from gesture*

Y/n: *gets over blush* Okay fangazor, let's get this battle over with. *pulls out an ability card* Ability card activate! Gorgon eyes!

The extra eyes on fangzor, then shined a yellow light on jenny's falconeer, and made it feel weaker.

Fangzor: 780 G

Falconeer: 550 G

Fangzor then wrapped her body around falconeer, and put it in a tight squeeze until it reverted back into its ball form, and fangzor reverted as well and returned to y/n.

Y/n: *looks at fangzor, small smile* Great work, fangzor, you did great. *starts rubbing her with finger*

Fangzor: *glowing pink* Praise me more y/n!

Jenny: *pouts* How come you didn't say you have more than one talking bakugan, y/n.

Y/n: You never asked.

Fangzor: And it's going to stay that way, you hussssyyyy!!!

Jenny: *angry* SAY THAT AGAIN YOU COLD BLOODED BITCH!!!

Leonidas: *on right shoulder* I do not envy your position boss.

Y/n: *annoyed* Shut up, leo.

Jenny: *calms down* I'll set up the final field y/n, *sets gate card* Gate card set!

Y/n: Alright. *grabs leonidas and throws him* Bakugan brawl! Leonidas stand!

Jenny: *in awe seeing leonidas* So that's leonidas true form, he's amazing y/n!

Y/n: *scratches behind the head, small smile* Thanks jenny.

Jenny: *throws bakugan* Bakugan brawl! *lands and pops open* Fear ripper stand!

Fear ripper: 380 G

Jenny: Gate card open! Draining veil!

Jenny: *smirks* Aside from boosting my fear ripper's g-power, this nifty gate card takes 150Gs from your bakugan and transfers it to mine.

Jenny's fear ripper then began to attack leonidas with multiple slashes, but leonidas is able to hold himself well against it.

Leonidas: *avoiding multiple slashes* This girl definitely knows how to go hardcore, *looks at y/n, smirk* but we know how to go over hardcore, right boss.

Y/n: *pulls out ability card, smirks* You got that right leo. Ability card activate! Inferno overdrive!

Flames started coming out of y/n's ability card and started going to leonidas and the fire started to surround him along with making jenny's fear stop his attack.

Jenny: *seeing the fire, intimidated* What's going on with leonidas!

While trying to see through the fire, the fear ripper saw glowing red eyes from leonidas, which made it tense in fear and metaphorically freeze in place.

Leonidas: *roars in power* RAAWWWRRRR!!!!

Leonidas: 700 G

Fear ripper: 430 G

Y/n: Now let it rip, leonidas!

Leonidas then unleashes a powerful blast of fire which engulfs jenny's fear ripper, and defeats it.

Jenny: *in awe* That was intense. What kind of ability card was that?

Y/n: *small smile* It's called inferno overdrive, a unique ability card for leonidas that boosts g-power by 300 when his Gs are lower than the opponent's and reduces the opponent's bakugan g-power by 200.

Jenny: *sighs a bit* Well even though I lost. *smiles* It was a lot more fun than I had being cooped up in a recording booth, thanks y/n.

Y/n: *smiles* No problem jenny, it was a good brawl. *sees sun setting* I should get going. *looks at jenny, small smile* It was nice meeting you jenny.

Jenny: *smiles* You too y/n, but before I go. *walks up to me*

Y/n: *confused* What are you doing?

Jenny: *kisses me on the cheek, teasing smile* It's only fair to give the winner a reward~. *gets a piece of paper out and writes something down, and then puts in my breast pocket* I wrote down jewls and I's numbers, make sure to call us.

Y/n: *blushing with a jaw drop*

Jenny: *chuckles a bit at my reaction, cat smirk* I hope to see you again, my special dragon~. *starts to walk away, but sways her hip a bit*

Leonidas: Um boss? You okay?

Masquerade then vanished without so much as a trace of her being there in the first place.

After getting close to the home door, I saw dan and surprisingly with drago walking close to the house entrance as well.

Dan: *smiles* Yeah, and I promise to become a better brawler and respect drago better as a partner. I also apologized to ryo fully.

Leonidas: And it looks like you are doing better as well drago.
