Friends are just made to be betrayed. They treat you like toys, they take you because you have something they don't. Something they want. They don't value you. The moment they're bored with you, they discard you. With no trace of your existence.
That's why, I'm currently alone in the cafeteria eating some delicious lasagna. My favorite food, for this year. I'm not saying it changes per year, I'm just saying it might not stay my favorite food. Last year my favorite food was...wait. It doesn't matter now, I'm eating lasagna.
I forget it anyway. So I can't tell you.
I took one last savoring bite and placed my tray on the huge stack, while I chewed my food. I threw my plastic fork into the garbage as subtly as I could. If I did my regular fork flip, someone would yell and make a huge deal out of it. If they could see me.
I'm pretty much invisible, I like it that way. No one would be able to talk to me or be my friend. I don't want any friends. Friends are just there to occupy themselves. I fumbled with the ends of my hoodie as I made my way down the empty high school halls. Coming to high school from middle school is scary. You don't know much people (which is great in my case) and everything is way new.
My feet suddenly stumbled back and I heard a loud thud. I rubbed my head, making my dark hair sway. Thankfully, the thud wasn't from me. I looked down and saw a person sitting on the tiled floor, rubbing their back. It looks like a guy. From the word person, I knew I was in trouble.
"Sorry," The boy said, standing up. I saw a small bush of hair, it was messy. It looked a bit greasy but still really nice. And well kept. It was a nice dark brown and the strands were everywhere. It shined in the fluorescent light.
He dusted off his gluttonous maximus and looked up at me. Well, considering his height, he looked down at me. He's just a bit taller than me. Curse guys and their puberty. "It's okay," I mumbled, not trying to draw attention to myself. I have the best tactic ever. Hide behind the curtain of hair.
He didn't budge, he just stood there. Right in front of me. I restrained myself from looking at him. If you make direct eye contact with people, they'll want to get to know you. It draws them to you. I could feel his eyes on mine, I wasn't looking at him though. Maybe he wanted me to look at him. I lifted my eyes up and saw his nice defined face.
It went higher to his eyes. Those blue eyes made me curious, what could he be hiding. Says the one that always keeps secrets...My mind went against me. I ignored my own arrogance and stared deeper into his eyes. We kept eye contact for what seemed forever. Forever drifting into the sea.
But I can't, I left that sea a long time ago. I, Sian Creves, declare not to do this ever again. I cut the staring contest short and started to slowly walk past him. He gave me one last look and walked away too. I sighed out a huge breath I was holding in. That guy was pretty creepy.
I calmly brushed it off and went to my locker, hoping oh so silently that my 'locker buddy' won't get here. He's so annoying. He has the worst pickup lines and never stops talking to me. I don't even know why he does talk to me. Considering that he's, like, the most popular guy in school. No biggie. I quickly put in my locker code and swung it open, it made a huge thud sound. Not the normal one.
I slowly moved the door and saw a familiar face behind it. I frowned and placed the door back into its previous position, his face. He made a squeaking sound and sighed. "My beautiful face..." He softly rubbed his nose, that looked pretty red. Aww, I was aiming for blood.
I kept my eyes on my locker and started stuffing my books into my bag. I don't care about his so called 'pretty face'. I would crush it but, that would be drawing attention to myself. What I don't want. "Do you have to be so cold, Sian?" He asked, his hand still rubbing his injured nose. I payed no attention to him. Not showing any emotion whatsoever. He frowned.
His kept his alluring brown eyes on me as I shut my locker. I slung my blue backpack onto my shoulder. I closed my lock and took a step, one step to freedom. One step away from him. Sadly, he grabbed my arm. I turned around with a frown clearly on my face. He had a smirk on his. "Can I tell you something?" He asked. I gave him a 'really' look, ignoring the unnecessary fast beating of my heart. "No," I said bluntly, watching the kids start crowding the halls.
"My favorite letters of the alphabet are," He went on, clearly ignoring my previous statement, "U, R, A, Q, T" I rolled my eyes when he winked. Running his fingertips through his nice brown hair. I groaned and tugged my arm out of his grip successfully. I stomped away in annoyance. Gray makes me go crazy. Not the love crazy, the killing crazy. I just want to slice his head off.
I silently slipped into Math class without getting noticed. I walked in without a peep and sat in my normal seat, the one right next to the window. I set my bag on the back of my chair and took out my math notebook, along with my pencil case. I sat down in the chair and waited until everyone got in.
It doesn't take long to get into classes people!
I suddenly got nervous. I looked around, nothing is happening. Why are my hands getting so clammy? I looked at the seat next to me. Surprisingly, someone is sitting there. Not a someone, the guy I bumped into a few minutes ago. I quickly looked away when I realized I was staring.
I heard him chuckle and stand up from his chair. I kept my eyes on the desk. Like I said, making eye contact equals making friends. I don't want them, I don't need them. A hand slowly crept up to my desk. I looked up. A hand is always linked to an arm, and arm is always linked to a shoulder, a shoulder is always linked to a body.
"We haven't properly met yet, I'm Cole Ruen," He said, piercing his blue eyes into my green ones. I looked away. I stayed quiet, I don't need to talk to him. I don't need to know him. Suddenly, someone tugged at my arm. I looked beside me and there was Gray, smiling like an idiot.
"What do you want?" I rolled my eyes. That just amused him even more. "Have you been to the doctor lately?" He suddenly asked. I frowned. "No, Why?" I asked, not getting where this was going. "I think you've been lacking some Vitamin Me." He pointed to himself with his thumb. I frowned some more.
"Hey, turn that frown upside down," He placed his warm fingertips on my cold pale cheeks. I backed up a little bit, surprised at his notion. Gray never touches me. He cupped my cheeks with his hands and moved my mouth with his fingers. I slapped his hand.
"Don't touch me." I turned to the window. Human contact isn't really my thing, I absolutely hate it. I haven't had it since...since....ugh. I clutched my chest, waiting for my heart to fall into my hands. I wanted to cry for such a long time, I just can't ever push myself to. Tears are just ways people can openly show their sadness.
"Okay, all of you need to get back to your seats!" Mr.T yelled. I looked back up at the front. Cole and Gray left me alone and sat in their own seats, Cole still sitting next to me. This is the way I like it.
The way it needs to be.
Alone.

This chapter is dedicated to SquishyMgoo. He read this whole first chapter (I sent it to him) and he enjoyed it. He told me its flaws and complimented me on it. For that, I am grateful. He's a really rad dude.
I'm so happy that my writing has improved so far, if you see my first book on my main account (Kawaii-chan247), it's so flawed. It needs hardcore editing. If you want to take a look at it, it's called Child Of Lupa. It sucks, hard.
Well, tell me what you all think!
You don't have to vote but I would love it if you all comment once in a while!
Continue being awesome! (I don't really need to tell y'all that)
Message me whenever!
Buh~Bye!
Luv u all!
