(Sadie pov)

I awoke with a small jerk. I looked to see me strapped down on a bed. There was machines beeping next to me. I couldn't move an inch. I tried to move even a finger... Nope. Where was I? I couldn't remember how I got here. I was propped up enough to see my arms had been injected with different tubes and wires. What had happened!?

I was questioning myself when someone walked in. The person had a long white lab coat on. They had blue scrubs with a clipboard in their hands. They had chest length smooth black hair with a slim, freckle covered, face. Her skin was a soothing chocolate color.

She looked over at me and jumped. "Y-Your awake!" She said astonished. She came over to me and started to mess with the machines. A few more, doctors I guess, enter the room. All of them start to mess with my machines and tubes. "W-Where am I?" I say weakly. "You at the Farmington hospital," one of the doctors reply. "H-How did I get here," I said.

The doctors look at each other. They have a conversation to quite for me to hear. "Well you vittles seam to be stable," one of them says before leaving. "W-Where are my parents?" I ask. They look at me surprise on their faces. "You an orphan," one of them reply. Another looks at me sadly before saying, "if you need anything just press this button." All of them who entered before left.

I was shocked. I mean I had just been told my parents, no that I didn't have any parents. I feel asleep with my head full of thoughts. The machines are probably what made me so tired.

Memory/dream

A little girl with pale skin, dark blue eyes, blond wavy hair, and green fingernails. is kicking a ball to a man. "Daddy kick it back!" She yells. The man laughs as he kicks the ball back to her. "Sadie how can you kick so fast," the dad laughs again.

A woman with green eyes, a slim form, red hair, and glasses. Comes over to the girl holding a picnic basket. "Time to eat," the woman says. They all sit down together. The little girl hugs her parents.

"I love you so much," her mother said to her. That little girl, Me, My parents. I thought as I drifted farther into sleep. I didn't know what had happened to them. But I would find out.

I woke up the next morning covered in cold sweat. What had I been dreaming of? I asked myself. I look up and see white walls. Oh I was in the hospital, why? I looked at the door. A girl was sitting in the chair next to the door. "H-Hello," I said sleepily. She got up and leaned into a hug. I accepted it and tried to hug her back. It was hard with all the IV things one arms.

"Are you feeling ok Sadie?" I looked at my best friend with tears in my eyes. Finally something familiar. "Y-yes. Thanks for coming Elizabeth." I smile at her. "I was so scared for you. You've been asleep for weeks. In an induced coma. The doctors have been trying to fix you." She said.

I was happy that she had come to see me. "I-I missed you," Elizabeth sobbed.
