In our grasps.

"I told you to be gentle." A husky voice spat. Her body lay still in his servos. There was barely a heart beat, but at least it was still beating. "I'm sorry." A nervous voice came from behind. "That's not going to bring her back!" The husky voice screamed over his shoulder. He gently placed her on the counter in the med bay. "Leave before I saw you in half." Whirring from a saw blade was now heard, making the other in the room to leave in haste. "I'm so sorry, Shelby. I should of came and got you. I'm sorry." He put his servos over his red and silver plated face. He thought hard, wondering what he should do. He knew enough about humans to patch them up, but he didn't know anything about internal damage. He always thought that was gross and disgusting. The insides of a human were full of flesh, blood and other gross bodily fluids. He also never thought he was come to care for one. One that would become this broken under his care.

He leaned over her for some time. Watching her, hoping she would wake up and say she's alright, but he knew there was more damage done than meets the eye. The Autobots had destroyed Darkmount, then attempted to get onto the Nemisis to get the girl back. Dreadwing fought, he fought hard to find her. If he would of known where she was, he might have been able to save her. Knockout was torn between wishing Dreadwing had found her and glad that he hadn't. If Dreadwing had found her, maybe she would still be alive and moving. The vehicon wasn't careful at all trying to hide her. He moved her roughly, not caring that she was being thrown around the box. Knockout had told him to be careful. He should of never trusted someone else to get her. If he hadn't been occupied fighting the Autobots, he would of gotten her. He would of made sure she was safe.

This is all his fault. Now he had to live with this. If Dreadwing ever did find out, he would surly make his termination as painful as possible. Starting with his finish. He needs to get her to a real human doctor. He had nothing to be able to help her. The problem he faced was how is going to get her there. He would have to get off the Nemisis without Megatron finding out. Megatron wouldn't care if she lived or not. Maybe Knockout could convince him that she could still be used as leverage against the Autobots. He needed to think of something fast. Who knows how long she would last. He looked back down at her still body. You couldn't even tell she was breathing. He only knew if he watched her very close and saw her chest slowly rise and fall. It was there. The breath was there. That's all that mattered to him at this point.

He made his decision. He was going to get her out of here. No matter the price. He would contact the Autobots and get her to them. She needed to be safe. She needed to be safe. Something he kept repeating to himself. He grabbed a clean rag, it was the only thing he had that was closer to her size. He, as gently as he could, wrapped her in it. Once he knew she was safely wrapped up, he picked her up in his servo and held her close to her chest. He then left the med bay and headed to the ground bridge. Not before stopping at a communication desk to send a quick message. He was so afraid to lose her, not because Dreadwing would rip out his spark, no, because he had started to fall for her himself. Though he knew she belonged to Dreadwing. She was his spark mate, whether the two knew it or not. The least he could do was make sure she lived.

*With the Autobots*

"Optimus we are receiving an encrypted message." Ratchet said not taking his eyes off the screen. Optimus made his way over to the computers, though Dreadwing was the first to get there. They all were hoping it was a sign. Since the fall of Darkmount and being unable to rescue Shelby, they all had been worried they were to late. "Read it, Old friend." Optimus spoke. "It's from Knockout!" The others started to chatter around them. "Is it something about Shelby?" Dreadwing spoke up. "Please come to these coordinates. I have what you are looking for. Bring your medical officer." Ratchet read. "What are we waiting for? Lets go!" Dreadwing demanded. "What if it's a trap?" Arcee brought up. "If it's what we think it is. We need to go check it out. Dreadwing you will stay here. Ratchet grab your medical kit." Optimus ordered. "Optimus, I need to go. If it's Shelby, she's going to want me. Please." Dreadwing begged. Never had anyone or himself think he would beg to a Prime. This situation was different. "No, I don't want your anger to get the best of you." Optimus stated walking to the ground bridge.

Dreadwing wing's drooped as he watched the team walked thought the ground bridge to the other side. His spark was beating so fast, he was sure it would burst. He hoped this was it, he hoped it was Shelby. He needed her back. Not finding her on the ship, hurt him dearly. It upset him to a point where he had stopped talking to everyone. He would only go out if told to. He stayed to himself. Being without her was bring him to the brink of death. He couldn't recharge, he couldn't drink energon, he only charged his systems because Ratchet forced him. There was very little hope left in him. He prayed to the all spark that Knockout was doing something good for once.

*With Knockout*

Knockout was on his way to the ground bridge when he got cornered. "What you got there, Knockout" Starscream's thin unpleasant voice was heard behind him. Knockout didn't turn around. "What's it to you, Starscream?" Knockout barked. "Touchy today aren't we. Did something happen to your precious little girl?" Starscream moved closer to him. He started to walk around so he was facing Knockout, a smirk curled on his lips. Starscream looked down at Knockout's servos. Knockout curled his digits around Shelby's cocoon so Starscream couldn't see or do anything. "Don't you have a Predicon to cower from." Knockout spat. "I do NOT cower!" He argued. Knockout gave a scoff and proceeded to walk around Starscream. He had more important things to take care of. "Does Megatron know what your doing?" Starscream questioned him. This stopped Knockout in his tracks. "It would be a shame if you would going to do something without his permission." Starscream put a servo on his hip and the other servo up near his face, as he talked while looking at his digits. Knockout turned his head to the side. "Do you really want to try me, Starscream?" Knockout threatened. Starscream didn't reply, only looked at him with confusion.

Knockout left Starscream standing there, wondering what he meant. This please him. Starscream had nothing on him. Enough of that nonsense, it was time to meet with the Autobots. He got to the ground bridge and found only one vehicon there. "I need to be bridge to these coordinates." Knockout told him. The vehicon gave no questions as to why the particular place. The ground bridge opened and Knockout stepped through. On the other side was a canyon. The wide open area, yet shielded from wondering eyes. He looked down at the human, making sure she was still breathing. Which thankfully, she was. It wasn't long before another ground bridge opened and the Autobots stepped out. They all had their weapons raised except for Ratchet. He was carrying a medical kit. "Please, I'm not here to fight. I am here to give you something." Knockout said as he started to walk closer. Optimus put his weapons away and motioned to start walking forward. Arcee jumped in front of him and stopped him. "Optimus, it could be a trap." She assumed.

Knockout brought the small cocoon back to his chest, in fear she might shoot. "Arcee, I don't think it is." This time Ratchet spoke. He walked towards Knockout, his servo out. "She's hurt really bad and I can't take care of her. She needs a human doctor." He held his servos out to Ratchet, showing them all the wrapped form of Shelby. Hydraulics hissed as weapons were put away.  Arcee and Bulkhead gave a gasp. Bumblebee let out a few sad beeps and whirrs. "We will take care of her." Ratchet said reaching for her. Before he could gently grab her, a blast hit the ground. Causing them all to fall to the ground. As Knockout fell, Shelby fell from his hands. He watched in slow motion as she fell to the hard sandy ground. He reached for her, trying to catch her, but he wasn't fast enough. She hit the ground with a thud. Ratchet and Knockout both crawled to her, checking to make sure no more damage was caused.

Another blast rang out around them. Everyone except Knockout and Ratchet, looked up to find the source. In the distance an aircraft was flying fast into view. "Megatron!" Optimus yelled, his face shield covering his face. He brought his weapon out, the others doing the same, and started to shoot. The two medics covered Shelby, keeping her safe. "Optimus, we need to get her out of here." Ratchet yelled. "That's not going to happen." The rough voice of Megatron was heard as he transformed and jumped to the ground. "I don't know what you were thinking, Knockout, but you better pick her up and take her back to the Nemisis." Megatron ordered. "My liege, she's dying, she needs a human doctor. The Autobots are the only ones who can save her." Knockout pleaded. "Then I guess she will die." Megatron sneered, leaning into Knockouts face. "Megatron! She will be coming with us." Optimus demanded. This made Megatron let out an evil chuckle. "And what makes you think that, Optimus?" He questioned the Prime. "Because she doesn't deserve to die. She Will not die. I will not allow it." Optimus transformed his servo into a sword as did Megatron.

The two leaders started to battle it out. Clashing of metal echoed throughout the canyon. Vehicons started to fly down, now everyone was beginning to fight. Knockout was unsure what he should do. He didn't want to defy Megatrons orders, but he couldn't let the girl die. She was in his servo now. A vehicon had started to fight with Ratchet. No one focused on Knockout. He transformed into his vehicular mode and drove off, with Shelby in his back seat. He was going to get her help, if that meant he had to take her to a hospital. His tires kicked up dust as he drove out of the battlefield. Trying to be careful but also be fast to get out. No one noticed he was gone. Everyone was to busy fighting to care. "Knockout's gone!" Bulkhead yelled after smashing a vehicons face in. The bots finished off the last few vehicons. Megatron and Optimus still fighting. Tell Megatron too, noticed that Knockout was gone. He transformed and flew off. Not saying a word.

The rest of them stood there. No one knew what to say. Shelby was in their grasps and now she was gone again. Bumblebee gave a few beeps of questioning. "No Bee, we should go back. He may be taking her to a hospital. We should find the nearest hospitals and search there." Optimus suggested. The others nodded in agreement. Hoping that that was what Knockout was truly doing. "Dreadwing, open a ground bridge." Optimus commed. The blue and green vortex opened up beside them and they all made their way though. Dreadwing was on the other side. Waiting to find out what happened. "Dreadwing, I'm sorry. If Megatron hadn't shown up, we would have her here with us." Optimus said, one servo on Dreadwing's shoulder. Dreadwing opened his mouth in shock. She was still alive. Yet they still weren't able to save her. "I'll get a list of the nearest hospitals." Ratchet stated running over to the computer. "I promise we will get her back." Optimus promised to Dreadwing. Why didn't that make him feel any better?
