Sakura POV
"Everything and anything about her past should be left alone" the Hokage grimly puffed his pipe,  behind his desk.
"But what about Our Keira? Is she.." I looked down at my toes and bit my lip.
"As far as we know, yes she is the same girl, every test that could be administered has been and she is the exact same, her memories however are not, " He sighed heavily, the troubles wringing lines in his weathered face,
"Her mental status is at a very fragile state, even taking away the fact of her scarred past and trauma, she would be a danger to herself, the way you had described the reaction to her teammates was dangerous enough, and the boy that came with her," my eyes were wide and confused, where was he going with this?...... It can't be......
"A new start might be sutible for her, with the chunin exams coming in a couple months.. If her memory returns, then she is true to be, but if it doesn't....."
I gasped "Sir! We are her team mates, she is our best friend and..!"
"Sakura!" He stood and came to stand in front of the desk, looking strictly into my eyes, a quiet sumimasen passed my lips as I bowed my head.
My body lightly shook as I furiously held my emotions in, swallowing and facing Lord Hokage with a determined expression.
"Do you understand why I didn't explain this Naruto and Sasuke?" Laying his hand on my should he gazed sadly at me.
Why me though? I don't want to..
I nodded my head silently, "I will try and tell them what not to do with her."
He smiled and patted my head "I am sorry to put such a burden on you child, please take careful watch over Keira"
I nodded and bowed walking out weighed down with new responsibility, my pink hair covering my eyes as my head leaned forward, watching the ground, and to think, I was so happy to hope that she was back, now, I can't even help her remember who she was, all that lost time...
"Sakura! Hey Sakura! What did gramps say? Is it true? Is she really..." Naruto bounded up, had he been sitting outside the door the whole time?, Closely followed by Sasuke-kun! Why is Sasuke here?
"I" What should I say? They can't bring up her past, should I lie, come up with an excuse?.. "She is Our Keira" No, they are my team, I have to trust them.
"But,"
But that means I have to tell them everything
Natuto's face lit up and I could almost see all the thoughts floating through his head, Sasuke had a slight grin to his face and looked less lonely than usual.
"We don't know how she came back, we shouldn't talk about what happened in her past, and"
"Does she know who she is?" Sasuke spoke up and I looked sadly at him.
"If we try and force her to remember it could.." Accidently kill her " ...end badly, we still don't know how she is alive, we need to...." As I made eye contact with Naruto, I saw it all, was this the real reason The hokage couldn't tell them himself, I thought it was the worry of them fighting, but

He loved her.
I couldnt mistake that look, because that's the same look I give Sasuke on battle.
How did, how did the hokage know?

"We should go," I looked up and feigned a smile to them "Keira is at the hospital with Sensei"
Sasuke nodded, navy bangs covering his eyes, thoughts traveling across his melancholy face.
Grabbing Naruto's wrist I tugged him forward slowly but resolutely.
I bit my lip as we walked steadily, I should have lied, maybe tried and convince the hokage, Keira, she has to know who she is, we can't let her continue this way, only knowing the world with her friend, is it better to leave her be to start over like Hokage-sama said?
I guess the real question is, is ignorance the bliss she deserves?
