Levi quickly ran downstairs and as soon as he found Y/N he discretely caught her attention. He made a sign to her indicating that she should follow him. She got it fast and followed him in the garden behind some trees. He only got a few minutes before everyone else got there and noticed them. His backup plan was trying to make them think he's hinting on her.

"Y/N, we only have a few minutes before they all get here. I know who the traitor is. Well, the location and gender." "What? Explain. And hurry up! How did you do it that fast?" "I overheads Ryu talking to himself. He might have known that I was listening but I don't want to risk it. Either way, be careful towards Hanji and Isabel, we clear?"

She nodded quickly, right before they were noticed. "What are you two doing there???" Hanji shouted. Levi freaked out a little and leaned over to kiss her. It surprised her but she went with it. "Oh, my GOD! I KNEW YOU TWO WERE DATING! CONGRATULATIONS!" Levi broke the kiss, him and Y/N secretly dissatisfied by that. "Shut up, shitty glasses."

They were really cautious, and they both knew they were stepping on thin ice. Levi nodded towards Ryu when the others weren't looking, proving that he knew. 'Oh, God, now I'm uneasy' was everything that crossed the now bleached blond's mind. 'I'm so fucking stupid. I made time to dye my hair another shitty colour instead of doing something. Way to impress, fucktard.' was another thought that crossed his mind sometimes.

They were all acting naturally, the pool's lighting making the atmosphere more relaxing, as it was getting darker. Y/N subconsciously leaned on Levi, in the water. He comforted her by squeezing her hand gently. He leaned over to whisper in her ear. "We should finish this tonight. Say you're cold so that we can search their rooms, okay?". She nodded in response.

"I-I'm getting really cold. I'm going to change. Levi? Can you come with me? I need help to blow-dry my hair." She said between some overly realistic shivers. Levi followed her inside after they waved goodbye. "You were actually cold, weren't you?" "Sh-sh-shut up. At least it was real." He chuckled as they walked upstairs.

"Now. If you were a mad scientist, where would you keep your stuff?" "I don't know. Um, somewhere in the basement?" "Levi... You are a genius! That's the only place I hadn't seen yet! And that's because it was locked for some reason... That's probably where she's hiding everything! In that case she's really not that smart. Geez. Like, really. The basement?"

Levi chuckled again while he was genuinely helping her with dry her hair. None of them knew why they were wasting time but they shrugged it off. "Levi? After all of this is done... What do you want to do?" He stopped the blow-dryer. "I have no idea. I suppose I will ask you out again properly. Can't believe we've already lived once." Y/N blushed. "I really feel young." She said between giggles. "Now that I'm dry, let's get this over with."

They silently walked downstairs. They checked the area so that there was nobody. When they were clear, they went to the basement door. The girl was clever and got a bobby pin. She carefully unlocked it and they both got in. "Geez, this is so easy." "Y/N... Maybe too easy..."

"Levi, we died because you were so pessimistic. Just be happy that we only have to give everything to that white haired bastard and we don't have to involve the police. It's a pretty small price for an afterlife." "Yeah. I guess I have to agree with you on that... Tch."

And it was very easy indeed. Who would've thought that the biggest threat to humanity was lying under a house, put there by a clumsy girl that was concluded to be Hanji from some weird papers left on a table. "She really was dumb enough... YO, RYU! WE GOT EVERYTHING!"

Silence. Nobody came. Nothing happened. That's when Y/N agreed to Levi. It really was too simple... They tried to sneak upstairs but right when they were about to open the door, Ryu was pushed inside, almost falling down the stairs, and the door was shut.

"Now, rot in here! Isabel and Farlan will join you soon." Hanji's voice echoed through the whole basement. Right before her steps could be heard heading away she said something that almost made Y/N faint: "And dead."

Levi tried to stay strong but inside he was panicking so badly. Y/N completely lost it. She was kicking the door, while tears were rolling down her face. It was dark, and she was getting paranoid. More and more paranoid. "Why is this happening to me?! WHY?"

Levi tried to touch her but he got pushed away. Ryu was watching watching until he had decided to step in. He grabbed her shoulders tight. She was struggling to be let out of his grip but she wasn't strong enough. Finally, she calmed down and sat down, as her legs couldn't support her anymore.

"What are we gonna do? They're going to die out there and the world might change from what we know just in a few minutes. I don't want to die again, not that I've been given another chance. Ryu, help us... You're the only one capable of that right now." The girl was looking at him with teary e/c eyes that begged for salvation. He could see every single bit of regret in them. Even though it would be a sacrifice, he had decided that a race deserves it. Especially the one he came from.

" Fine, I'll help. It's going to be quick, and you won't remember anything so... I guess we have to say goodbye." "Wait, we won't remember you, nor everything that happened until now?" Asked Levi with confusion. "No. You'll remember me and everything that happened. Don't worry about that. Unless you want to forget about them, you're not gonna lose your memories. You just won't remember how I solved the situation and how I die."

"WHAT?"

So, this was a Christmas update? Meh, I don't know.

But I was so excited to write this. Well, I think that you probably noticed that this book is coming to an end. I know you probably wanted some more but I can't come up with infinite ideas. :)
