So I just got back from holiday...

But I still have a week of holidays!!

So I'll update as much as I can,

If I'm lucky, maybe an update a day...

This isn't official so don't go at me if I don't keep to this.

Bella's POV

"It has too." Jason said

Seto nodded "Ok then, we'll leave tomorrow morning." He said "In the meantime, let's prepare defences incase Skybrine comes back."

The other generals nodded and left, except for Mitch, Jerome, Jason.

Jason sighed "I'm gonna go get Ty." He said leaving the room calmly.

Jerome sighed as well, "I'll get some weapons ready."

Mitch turned and followed Jerome out, leaving Seto and I alone in the library.

Seto continued to look at the page, almost as if he was mesmerised by it.

"Seto?" I asked, tapping his shoulder.

He blinked and shook his head quickly before looking up at me "Yeah?"

"What's going on?" I asked "I can see you're shaken up over something and I'm willing to bet it's over those stupid books!"

Seto sighed "Look Bella, those journals are made for sorcerers, they're made to tempt sorcerers to read them, to use the magic inside them, dark magic, they're seriously evil."

I stared at him "Exactly what happened down there?"

Seto paused for a moment before saying "I was tempted, I found the book I needed, the book...... opened to the right page, I read it, took the page, put the book back and left."

I looked at him, I could tell he wasn't giving me the whole story, but I knew he wouldn't tell me.

So I sighed "I know your lying Seto. I can see those books aren't good for you."

Seto looked at me sadly "I know that, but what am I supposed to do? We need this to find the temple. If we didn't, I never would've gone down there in the first place, heck I'd burn every last one of those damm books if I could."

I thought for a minute then said "Not look at it, that's what you can do" Then I reached out and snatched the page off the table, folding it quickly and shoving it in my pocket.

"Hey!" Seto said, reaching out for it. "What are you doing?!"

I sighed "Keeping this safe until tomorrow, when we leave, I'll give it back so we can use it. This is all we can do for now."

Seto sighed and nodded "Your right, at least I know it won't tempt you."

I nodded "Thank you." I said "I'm gonna go outside for now."

Seto nodded and went to his room "Yeah, I need to make some potions for the journey."

I smiled and left.

Le time skip....

I walked out into the courtyard of the base and sat against the base of the tree in the centre of the courtyard, staring at the sky.

I thought about everything that's been happening, maybe I shouldn't have been so hard on Seto, he's the whole reason I'm here. Then again it's for his own good. He even agreed with me.

"Watcha doing?" Came a voice, startling me from my thoughts.

I jumped and turned to see Mitch walking up and sitting next to me. "Nothing really, just thinking."

"What about?"

I paused ".... Everything?" I said, although it sounded like a question.

Mitch smirked and his eyes trailed down and came to rest on my arms mainly on one of the large splotches of blue skin on it.

"I know it seems rude to ask, but I just want to be sure, are you a squid hybrid?" He asked. "You don't have to answer if you don't want to."

I paused for a moment, not really sure whether or not I should tell him. I remember Seto told me that me being a squid hybrid was nothing to be ashamed of, no one would judge me here.

So I nodded "Yeah, I wasn't always one, but I am now."

Mitch looked at me, shocked "So someone turned you into a squid hybrid? Was it the squids? That's just cruel!"

I shook my head "Actually no, it wasn't."

"Who then?" He asked

I thought for a moment, then figured 'why not?'

So I sighed and told him my story...

Flashback...

About 5 years ago, I was out hunting pigs for my village when as I was coming back, I saw smoke coming from the direction of my village.

I ran to see what had happened, only to find my village up in flames, zombie pigman roamed the streets, chasing down and killing everyone, while blazes and ghasts flew over, firing fireballs onto the streets and roofs.

'This is impossible' I thought 'Nether monsters shouldn't be in the over world!!'

I pulled out my bow and ran into the village, shooting down pigman every chance I could. I turned into the square a stared in horror.

A large nether portal was in the middle of the square, pigman were practically pouring out of it and into the streets.

I shot my way through and to the side of the portal, then in pushed as hard as I could, until the obsidian block finally shifted and shut off the connection.

The portal vanished and I sighed with relief 'Now to take care of the rest of the mobs.' I thought, notching another arrow and aiming at a blaze.

Then I hear a chuckle behind me "Well aren't you a brave girl."

I turn and fire quickly just having time to register it's a man.

Then like lightning, the man snatches the arrow out of the air "Do you really think a petty arrow can hurt me?" He chuckled, twirling it in his fingers.

I stumbled away in shock, no one should be able to do that, then I noticed his appearance he had dark brown hair, a light blue T-shirt and a dark blue jeans, and his eyes were a soulless, glowing white.

"No..." I murmured "You're just a myth..."

The man frowned "Do I look like a myth to you?" He asked

I notched another arrow and fired at him, he dodged it effortlessly and looked at me smiling evilly "You'll do just fine." He said.

Then his eyes began to glow and I felt incredibly tired, he chuckled, but his voice sounded far away. "That's right, just sleep."

Then I passed out.

When I opened my eyes, the first thing I noticed was that I was strapped down to a metal table. An open fire lay in the corner and shelves lined with different vials and ingredients of who knows what.

I struggled for notch knows how long to escape, but I couldn't.

Then the man walked in, Herobrine.

"Are you comfortable?" He asked mockingly.

"What do you want from me?" I growled

"Oh you don't have to do anything." He chuckled walking over to a shelf and drawing out a large needle filled with dark blue liquid. "Just relax, because this will hurt."

I began to struggle even more "Keep that way from me!" I shouted

He just laughed and inject the needle into my arm and pressed down on the plunger.

It was awful, like he was injecting fire into my veins. I screamed in pain as he took the needle out. "Hmmm, needs more squid blood." He sighed.

Then I passed out again from the pain.

For years, I lived like this, each day, Herobrine injected me with different things until I became a squid hybrid.

Then one day, he brought me out to his throne room, wrapped in chains.

I pulled against them and Herobrine sighed "Will you ever stop fighting?" He asked

I just glared at him.

The doors opened and three squids slithered in.

The middle one looked at me up and down then turned to Herobrine "She'll do nicely."

He nodded and held out his hand "So do we have a deal?"

The squid nodded and shook his hand with his tentacle. Herobrine smiled evilly and handed the chains to the squid "Don't loose her." He warned

The squid nodded and pulled me out of the castle and through a nether portal.

We reappeared in a forest by the lake. I could see they were taking me to a large lake, I knew if I went down into the water, I would never come out. The squid pulled me along and I felt the chains loosen slightly.

Seeing my chance I lunged back and the chains fell loose and I took off running.

I ran and ran, never once looking back, until I ran past a group of rocks and charged into a figure in a purple cloak, toppling them over.

"Woah!" He yelped, spilling what he was carrying, which were several red mushrooms

"Sorry! Sorry!" I said panting heavily "I- I gotta go."

"Hey! Hey! Calm down!" The person said, looking at me "It's alright, I won't hurt you."

I looked at him, he had brown hair with bits showing out from under his white crown and warm brown eyes, he had a purple cloak on with the hood up and a grey shirt with a red creeper face on it.

"Are you ok?" He asked.

I nodded slowly "I- I guess. Where am I exactly in Minecraftia?"

"By the Team Crafted base." he said

I frowned "Team Crafted I don't think I've every heard of them."

He frowned "Really?"

I nodded "I've been away for a while..."

I told him what had happened to me and he stared at me "Notch...Well, do you have anywhere to go?"

I shook my head "No..."

The boy thought for a minute and looked at me, "Well, I'm sure the base can have a place for you to stay, we may not like squids, but no one will judge you for being a squid hybrid."

I looked at him "Are you sure?"

He nodded "My name's Seto by the way." He said holding out his hand.

I smiled and shook it "I'm Bella."

Seto got up and helped me up "Follow me."

And I did.

End of flashback...

Mitch leaned against the tree and stared "So herobrine did this to you?"

I nodded "But hey, if he didn't, I never would have escaped and met you guys."

Mitch sighed "Yeah, but that's just not fair to you."

I shrugged "When is life ever fair? I just try to get over it and move on. I can't change who I am now and I'm ok with that."

Mitch looked at me "You don't need to change, it just doesn't seem right."

"It's not right." I said simply "But not everything is."

I stood up "Anyways, I should go get ready for tomorrow."

Mitch nodded "You go ahead, I'll catch you later."

I smiled and nodded "See ya."

Mitch smiled "Bye."

And I left to go pack.

I'm really tired so I don't know how Bella became such a philosopher at the end...

But oh well...
