Plagued Mind

Will barely got any alone time since dying and coming back.

It has been two days since he was revived and no matter where he was or what he was doing, someone was almost always just a mere few feet away from him.

That's pretty understandable considering now that Stephanie and Isaac were back from Paris for the time being, there are five people living in his home, but even pack members were always over.

Will learned quickly that Isaac and Liam were actually brothers—which shocked him and he didn't believe them for a good two hours—so Liam's been over constantly, dragging Mason along with him.

Scott and Malia have been over a lot as well, Malia claiming she's missed her "Aunty Brina" while Scott said he had to mend things with Stephanie.

But even after that and all of their reasonings, Will felt like all of them were lying. Or at least had other reasons to be there that they weren't sharing. He just always felt watched and babied.

And to make everything worse, the one person he wanted to see, the one person he desperately needed to talk to never showed up once.

Stiles was the only person Will wanted to talk to. He was the only one he hadn't gotten a explanation from yet. Out of all the apologies and explained reasons for not answering that night he got from the pack, not one of them said that Stiles was with them.

Stiles answered the phone when Will called and after Will said he was going to die, Stiles hung up on him.

All Will wanted to know was why. It was driving him crazy. Like he was a ticking time bomb just waiting for an answer.

Right now was one of the rare times where Will actually got any alone time. He was cleaning around his room. After destroying the mirror and making a hole in the wall, Will had to move things around.

When someone knocked on the door, Will held back a groan. He understood that he had just died and came back to life, but let him have some peace!

He turned his head as the door creaked open, Stephanie smiling at him. The sudden anger that was starting to grow in his gut subsided at the sight of his sister. He gave her a weak smile as she walked completely into the room and closed the door behind her. "How are you doing?"

Will sighed, discarding his task and walking to his bed. As he sat down, Stephanie walked towards him, sitting down beside him. She watched his a small frown as he rested his elbows on his knees and dug the bottom of his palms into his eyes.

"I'm just so tired." Will whispered, worried that if he spoke any louder, his voice might break. He took a deep breath before he lifted his head. He didn't face his sister, only looking in front of him. "I can't sleep. That night just... keeps replaying in my head. The Doctors, the lab, Theo, my leg breaking," Will paused for a moment, pressing his lips into a line to control his breathing at least for a moment. "Stiles."

Stephanie turned to face Will completely, rubbing his back comfortingly as the boy tried to find his words. Will finally turned to face Stephanie, his eyes glossy as he fought back any tears from falling. "Do you know where Stiles was the night I died?" He asked, his voice shaking from how hard he was trying to not let it break.

Stephanie looked away from Will and licked her lips and she nodded once.

Will's eyes widened at her answer, he started to shake his head in desperation, the tears fighting harder and harder to fall. "Where was he?"

Stephanie sighed, looking away from Will as she shook her head. She should not be the one to tell him. "Will—" "Why was he able to answer the phone, hear me begging for help and then hang up on me?" Will interrupted, not being able to stop his voice from breaking like he could before.

Stephanie shook her head, not being able to look at Will. If she could, she would let herself completely vanish into thin air so she wouldn't have to do this conversation. "It's not my place to say." Stephanie said and Will felt his heart start to speed up in desperation.

"Steph, he won't talk to me. He barely looks at me. I just—" Will stopped himself as he felt his claws start to grow. He quickly closed his hand into a fist, digging his nails into his palms as he took a deep breath. Slowly, his claws disappeared and his new wounds started to heal. "I want to know."

Despite controlling his physical anger, Will felt the anger deep inside of him only grow. He was holding back shaking from how upset he was. He died. All he wanted was to be with Stiles. Be comforted by his boyfriend. But he couldn't do that since Stiles was dodging him and no one would tell him why.

He started to drown out Stephanie's words as he started to overthink, the emotions swirling in him stopping him from thinking logically.

What if Stiles hung up on him because Stiles wanted him dead?

What if that was why no one in the pack answered?

The idea that his pack purposely didn't answer in hope Will would die wouldn't leave his mind. His eyes started to burn and his vision became blurry as tears made its way into his eyes.

"They wanted you dead."

"They've hated you ever since Stephanie dragged you into the pack."

"They wanted an excuse to get rid of you."

Will shook his head crazily at the thoughts that were plaguing his mind, catching Stephanie's attention.

Stephanie, who had been looking down and rubbing Will's back as she told him soft reassurances, froze. Her face softened at the look of the boy beside her. "Will..." She whispered, moving to sit closer to Will, but the boy shot off of his bed before she could get too close.

"Could I be alone?" Will asked, his words sounding more aggressive than he wanted. Stephanie stared up at the boy for a few seconds before she nodded.

Stephanie slowly stood up and after a couple seconds of hesitance, she walked towards Will's door. She stood in the doorway before walking out completely. She watched Will with a small frown before she spoke up. "I love you."

Will, who was still facing where Stephanie was once sitting, felt his heart squeeze at her words. He was about to speak up. Tell her he loves her too. But before he could, Stephanie walked out of his room, closing the door behind her.

Will listened as Stephanie walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. She could hear her and their dad speak before they both decided to go tot he hospital to check on the Sheriff.

He spent the next ten minutes pacing his room, pulling his hair as he tried to stop the different thoughts from entering his mind.

But they wouldn't leave. No matter how hard he tried to fight them off.

Will abruptly stopped pacing and instead grabbed his phone and bolted out of the room. He needed to get his mind off of this.

...

Stephanie and James Saticoy both laid slumped in the waiting room chairs at Beacon Hills Hospital. James, who had just taken an extra shift at the station because of Noah's medical leave, was asleep while Stephanie nervously picked at her cuticles, part of her regretting leaving Will alone even though he asked to.

It was like a gut feelings, something telling her it was a bad idea to leave the boy alone. But it wasn't her kanay feeling so she ignored it. She was so in thought, she didn't even notice Stiles walk up to her until he tapped her shoulder.

Stephanie jumped at the tap, startled until she realized it was Stiles standing above her. Stiles looked a lot better than Stephanie would've expected. He surprisingly didn't have any bags under his eyes and his hair was nicely done. Stephanie groaned as she shimmied herself higher in her seat to sit properly, smiling at Stiles.

Stiles quickly returned the smile, but it was the only part of his face that looked happy to see her. He squinted at her, his brows furrowed as he shook his head crazily. "What are you guys doing here?" He whispered, not wanting to wake up Stephanie's dad from beside her.

Stephanie rubbed her eyes despite there being no sleep in them. "We wanted to check on you and your dad."

"Shouldn't you guys be with Will?" Stiles asked, almost sounding panicked at the thought of Will disappearing again. Stephanie shook her head as Stiles took the free seat beside her. "He wanted to be alone."

"And Isaac?" Stiles questioned, noticing that it was just Stephanie and James.

Stephanie rested her elbow on the armrest between her and Stiles and smiled to him. "Catching up on lost bro-time with Liam." She answered, making Stiles huff. He fell back into his seat, slouching as he brought his hand up to his face and tiredly rubbed his jaw. Stephanie frowned at her friend. She knew that was a tell for when he was stressed.

She watched him closely before she pressed her lips together. "Why haven't you talked to him yet?" She asked quietly, not wanting it to seem like she was upset at him or judging him. After watching how Scott took the news of Donovan, Stephanie didn't blame Stiles for not telling Will, but she also think her brother deserves to know. She knows Will would never blame Stiles for Donovan's death; he just deserves an explanation.

Stiles scoffed at the question, looking at Stephanie as if she were crazy. "Why would I talk to Isaac about him and—" Stephanie rolled her eyes and couldn't hold herself back from whacking the side of his head. "Not Isaac!" Stephanie snapped.

Stiles looked at Stephanie with wide eyes, shocked that she had just hit him. She's been gone for so long, he forgot how she acted around him.

"Will." Stephanie clarified, her voice soft again.

Stiles slumped again, immediately looking away from her and to the floor. He moved his thumb from his jaw and to his mouth to anxiously bite his nail. Stephanie grabbed the boys wrist and pulled it away from his mouth. Stiles looked to Stephanie sighed. "I... I can't." He answered, his voice quiet, guilt filled with his words.

Stephanie frowned. Part of her felt horrible for Stiles, knowing he was just scared to tell Will while another part of her just wanted to smack the shit out of him for not telling Will already.

She placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder and just before she could say anything to comfort him, the sounds of the Emergency Room doors opening caught her and Stiles's attention.

They watched with wide eyes as paramedics wheeled in a bodybag. If there was another body, there was another chimera. Stephanie and Stiles turned to each other, both met with an identical wide eyed expression the other held and without saying a word, they shot out of their seats and ran to the Sheriff's hospital room.

The two barreled into the Sheriff's room, not even noticing that the man was asleep and had taken a nap. Stiles grabbed his dads computer and he and Stephanie cramped into the guest chair placed beside the hospital bed. It was way too small to fit the two of them and they would most likely each have a bruise on one of their hips but they didn't care.

As Stiles started to log into the security footage with his dads account, Noah started to wake up. He squinted before his eyes widened when he realized it was Stephanie and Stiles sitting at his bedside. He didn't even notice them on his laptop at first, his mind going straight to an old memory of when Stiles's mother was still in the hospital.

She had an episode in the middle of the night, leaving Noah having to take her and Stiles to the hospital. Hoping to find a way to distract Stiles, the Sheriff asked Melissa and Sabrina if they could bring Scott and Stephanie. Melissa had just gotten off of her shift and was knocked out when Noah texted so Scott couldn't come to the hospital, but luckily, Sabrina was about to start a shift so she took Stephanie to work with her so she could be with Stiles.

It was almost the exact same image back then and now. Stiles and Stephanie squeezed together on a chair identical to the one they sat in now, expect back then they could fit in it and instead of looking at a laptop, they were watching Stiles play a game on Stephanie's Game Boy she brought to distract Stiles.

That was when Noah realized the two of them were on his computer. He shook himself out of the old memory and glared at the teens. "Is that my laptop?"

"Yep." Stiles answered, not even turning to his dad. Stephanie turned to the man and gave him a small smile. "I'm glad you're getting better, Noah."

The man stopped glaring at his son and turned to the girl beside Stiles. His face softened and he matched her smile. "Thank you, Sweetheart." He answered sincerely before he turned back to Stiles, his glare reappearing. "Do you have my password?"

"I have all your passwords. You know they just brought in another body from last night?" Stiles asked, finally pulling up the security footage. Stiles and Stephanie's eyes were glued to the screen, watching the footage as the Sheriff groaned. "Yeah, I was hoping you wouldn't find out. Now give me my damn computer."

As he tried to reach for the laptop, Stiles moved it just out of his father's reach and shook his head. "Hang on, hang on. I think there's some footage missing."

Stephanie, immediately catching onto what Stiles was thinking, shook her head. "Or something missing in the footage." She muttered. The footage only showed two people go into the building, yet somehow three came out. The footage goes back to over a day before and no one else walked in. Stephanie looked away from the computer and to Stiles, automatically getting met with his eyes.

Stiles quickly saved the clip and sent it to his phone before putting the computer on the bed beside his dad. The two of them quickly jumped out of their seat and ran for the door. "We'll be back!" Stiles yelled, running out of the room first. As Stephanie reached the doorframe, she spun around to face the man. "I'll send my dad in! He misses you!" She reassured before running out of the room after Stiles.

...

Isaac, Liam, and Mason walked through the halls of the school, Liam insisting they look for any kind of evidence on the Dread Doctors since so many of the chimeras had incidents at the school.

"I went to the club looking for Hayden, and there's Josh. Standing there. Completely alive. Just like Hayden. And just like Will. Because of Theo." Liam whispered, from the middle of Isaac and Mason, not knowing who was around or listening in.

"Theo brought them all back. That's what he's doing. He's, he's building a pack. His own pack of dead Chimeras." Mason said, earning a small nod in agreement from Isaac.

"They all looked pretty alive to me." Liam sassed and Isaac immediately shook his head, looking ahead of the three of them. "But they're not the same." He said, making the two younger boys turn to him. Mason furrowed his eyebrows and shook his head slightly. "What?" He asked

Isaac looked to Mason and Liam, his eyes widening as if what he was saying was obvious. "I mean like with Will." Isaac started, using Will as an example. He thought back to the day after Will came back, when he jumped Theo. Isaac huffed, remembering how Will used to be before he and Stephanie left for Paris.

"He's been getting... angrier all of a sudden. He almost killed Theo the other day. Even little things just tick him off." Isaac said, shaking his head.

All of a sudden, his back straightened and he grew tense. Isaac could've sworn he smelt Will. He started looking around the hallway the three of them were walking through and his shoulders relaxed when he saw Will's locker.

It must've been because they were passing his locker.

"There was something about Hayden too." Liam added, looking up at Isaac. Mason looked back and forth between the two boys with wide eyes as a thought came to his mind. "Maybe that's what dying does to you. What if it, what if it like darkens your soul. What if they're all evil now?" Mason said and Isaac scoffed

"I don't know about evil." Isaac muttered as the front doors of the school, right in front of the three of them, opened.

The three watched as Corey walked into the building, a huge smile on his face when he saw them. "Hey, guys! Are you volunteering for the library clean-up, too?" Corey asked happily.

Isaac starred at Corey with wide eyes, not knowing what to say while Mason and Liam turned to each other before turning back to Corey at the same time. "Yeah." The two of them stammered out.

Corey's smile seemed to brighten even more, starting to walk passed them and towards the library. "Sweet! I'll see you guys inside."

As the boy walked away, Isaac, Liam, and Mason's eyes all followed him. Isaac hummed in an "I told you so" manner before nudging his elbow into Liam's side. "See? Not evil." He snarked and almost immediately, Liam scoffed and pushed Isaac away from him.

"Yeah, yeah. Shut up!" Liam groaned, starting to walk towards the library after Corey, Isaac and Mason following after him.

Once the three boys were inside the library, Will, who had been just around the corner and heard everything the boys had said, swallowed the lump in his throat as he leaned back on the lockers behind him.

All Will wanted to do was go to the library clean-up to clear his mind, but Isaac's words only further worsened Will's overthinking.

So much for needing a distraction from the pack.

...

Stiles and Stephanie walked up the stairs of the McCall home. No body answered the front door which made Stiles use the key he had made so he could come in and out as he pleased. They knew Scott could hear and smell them so there was no need to quiet.

As they walked into Scott's room, they froze in the doorway. On the other side of the room was Scott standing in front of the mirror, the edge of his shirt lifted to look at his wounds from Theo. He still hadn't healed.

"Hey." Scott announced, looking up from his wound to Stiles and Stephanie's reflection. Stephanie frowned at the sight, swallowing a small lump that was starting to grow in his throat.

"Still not healing?" Stiles asked, his eyes glued on Scott while Stephanie sadly bit her lip, staring at Scott's injury.

"Sometimes it just takes a little longer." Scott shrugged, turning around to face the two. Nervously, he looked to them. Last time he spoke with both of them, he wasn't on good terms with them. "What are you guys doing here?"

Stiles and Stephanie turned to each other for a quick moment before they turned back to Scott. Stiles rubbed his hands together nervously, realizing in this moment that he and Scott never really settled their issues. "Uh, you heard about the guy who got killed out at the communication towers, right?" Stiles asked and when Scott nodded, Stiles continued. "We think we may have figured something out."

"What? You want my help?" Scott asked, looking at Stiles with wide and relieved eyes. He turned to look at Stephanie and when their eyes locked, she gave him a small smile. Considering her fight with Scott revolved around defending Stiles, she had no reason to be upset with Scott anymore if him and Stiles were on good terms.

Scott smiled at the gesture, happy that his two best friends willing to work with him and give him the chance to work things out with them.

Stephanie, thinking Stiles was taking too long, ripped his phone out of his hands and pulled up the surveillance video. "Just... Here, take a look. This is when the technician first arrived." Stephanie explained as the technician walked into the building in the video.

"Then Deputy Clark goes in. Then something really big and really fast comes charging out. And now comes Clark. Eventually, technician's body is carried out by paramedics." Stephanie narrated. When the video ended, she and Stiles looked up at Scott who had a confused look on his face. "Okay, what am I missing?"

Stephanie's head dropped, forgetting how long it took for Scott to catch up. Stiles, still used to it, answered. "Two people go in. Three come out. We checked all the footage. Not a single person enters that building before the technician the entire day." He said and Stephanie looked up at Scott just as he furrowed his eyebrows, still confused.

"So where does that something really big and really fast come from?" Stephanie asked slowly.

Almost instantly, Scott's eyes widened and his jaw dropped as he looked back and forth between her and Stiles. "There's another way in."

...

Will never went to the library clean-up.

Instead, he stayed sitting against the lockers, his legs pulled up to his chest and his head hiding in his knees as he cried.

He cried over the thoughts of the pack hating him. Hating him before his death and hating who he has become.

Why else would none of them had answered? They hated him. They wanted him gone and the Dread Doctors going after him was the perfect opportunity.

Deep down, a small sliver of Will knew that all of it was in his head. He knew that his pack loved him and would never do that to him, but he still couldn't listen to that hopeful voice.

He had always been self-conscious—he is a teenager. It's almost expected. But since coming back to life, every single emotion of his heightened. It's just like Isaac said; he gets angry easier. Will just hated that these thoughts heightened with it.

"Will?"

Will's cries slowed and the unfamiliar voice. Slowly, he lifted his head and turned his head to the voice.

His eyes fell on a boy he could've sworn he recognized, but he couldn't figure out where.

The boys eyes widened when he realized that Will was crying, but he continued to speak anyway. "Um... I'm Corey. I'm a chimera too. I guess you could say we are in the same pack?" Corey said, walking closer to Will.

Will didn't try to correct Corey about the pack comment. In that moment, he hardly even felt like he was in his own pack. Instead, Will just smiled at the boy. "Hey, man." He said, trying to put on his best fake smile, but it was no use, Corey already knew Will was crying.

He sat down beside Will, watching him carefully with sad eyes. "You're struggling with being back too, I'm guessing?" Corey asked and Will nodded, a tried breath passing through his lips.

Corey frowned, knowing how Will was feeling. "You would think after being dead for a week, people would care about you more now that you're back." Corey muttered and Will nodded, feeling a sinking feeling in his chest.

So it wasn't just him feeling like this.

It was almost like Corey was in his mind because the younger boy let out a breathy chuckle and turned to Will. "I guess we've just got to stick together than." He suggested. In the week of being back from the dead, Corey wasn't doing the greatest with making friends with the rest of Theo's pack, he was hoping maybe Will could change that.

When Will smiled at Corey's words, Corey calmed down. Will nodded at Corey's words, holding his hand up to fist bump the boy. "We've gotta stick together."

Corey looked down at Wills fist before looking back up at the boy, laughing as he returned the fist bump. The two boys laughter made them feel at ease despite their horrible couple weeks of being tortured, killed, and brought back to life.

It seemed that the world didn't want Will to feel happy, even if it was just a second because in seconds, Will tensed up, his shoulders straightening back so far, they hit the lockers behind him.

Corey turned his head at Wills movements. Being around supernatural creatures nonstop for three past few days, Corey instantly knew that Will smelt or heard something.

"What?" Corey whispered, his eyes widened as he watched Will's head whip towards the doors a couple feet away from them.

"Theo's coming." Will whispered back, not knowing how close Theo was and not wanting the boy to hear him. Corey shoot off the ground, making Will turn around to look at him. Instead of saying anything, Corey grabbed Will's wrist and pulled him up to stand.

Will complied, standing shoulder to shoulder with Corey. Just as he was about to ask what are you doing, Corey grabbed his hand and shushed him.

Suddenly, Will's vision had a green hue to it. Will's eyebrows furrowed, about to ask Corey again what was happening, but before he could, the school doors opened and Theo walked in.

Will was confused as to why Theo didn't acknowledge the two of them as he walked into the school. It wasn't until he was standing right in front of them, still facing down the hallway, that Theo did speak up.

"You don't have to hide from me, Corey." Theo announced before a small smirk started to grow on his face, smelling not just Corey. "Or you, Will."

Corey let go of Will's hand, making Will's vision go back to normal. Theo turned to Will, his smirk growing and Will looked around in confusion. He turned to look at Corey beside him and his eyes widened when he didn't see the boy beside him.

"What..." Will whispered before Corey appeared. Corey looked to Will nervously, Will's face filled with shock. "Dude, that is sick." Will whispered, making Corey's nervous smile ease until he turned to Theo in front of them.

"I was trying to do something nice." Corey tried to reason and Theo shook his head. "You were trying to do something normal." Theo corrected, making Corey gulp, getting caught. Theo chuckled at how nervous the boy was. "But you don't have to be normal anymore, and you definitely don't have to be nice." He added, making both Will and Corey's faces drop.

"Well, I'm not going to hurt them." Corey said and Theo took a step closer to him and Will, making Will take a step back as well, pulling Corey back with him without Theo noticing.

"Look, I don't want you to. In fact, they don't know it yet, but we're going to protect them." Theo said, reaching out and grabbing Corey's shoulder. "Just like I'm going to protect you." Theo said.

Will grabbed Theo's wrist and threw it off of Corey's shoulder, glaring at him. "Don't touch him." Will threatened.

Theo looked to Will for a couple seconds before turning back to Corey, not wanting to start another fight with Will. "Corey, you're going to come with me and you're gonna do everything that I tell you, because I know you don't want to die again. Do you?" Corey asked and Will's jaw clenched at Theo's manipulation.

Corey looked at Will beside him before turning back to Theo with confused eyes. "What about Will? He's a chimera too." Corey said and Will could've sworn he saw Theo smirk.

"Well, Will has in own pack that's supposed to keep him from dying." Theo said and Will's face fell at the words. Theo's smirk became more prominent when he realized his words had effected Will. "Even though they obviously didn't do well last time." Theo muttered, trying to pass his dig off as a joke. "So he doesn't need to come with us."

Will looked down to the ground and licked his lips. The thoughts that he finally distracted himself from thinking about coming back. Will blinked away tears, hoping Theo wouldn't notice them, but he did.

Theo raised his eyebrows, his attention fully on Will now. "Unless he wants to."

Will looked up to Theo at his words and when their eyes locked, Will didn't seem to get angry at Theo.

Theo didn't have the same taunting smirk he's been parading around the last couple days. He looked genuine. Part of Will, that same part that was telling him that his thoughts were just anxieties, told him that it was all an act. That Theo only wanted to seem nice to lure Will in.

And just like before, that little voice in Will's head was overpowered. Will nodded, looking back and forth between Corey and Theo. "I'll go with you."

Theo nodded, he and Corey both smiling at Will's words. "Great. I can help you a little bit with transforming tomorrow, but we can talk about some of it now." Theo said, starting to walk out of the school. Corey immediately followed after Theo while Will stayed frozen, watching the boy with furrowed brows.

After a couple a seconds, Will shook his head and started to chase Theo. "Wait! What do you mean 'transformation'?"

Theo stopped walking and turned around to face Will. "Wait... You don't?" Theo asked and Will straightened up. "Know what?" He asked slowly, nervous about what Theo could be talking about.

Theo shook his head, sighing in disappointment. "Wow, you're pack really doesn't care to help you out." Theo muttered to himself. Will rolled his eyes, getting aggravation with Theo's snarky comments. "Spill it out, Theo."

Theo chuckled at Will's annoyance. "You're not a werewolf, Will. You're a werecoyote like me and Malia."

...

After going to the crime scene, Stephanie, Scott, and Stiles found a hole in the ground, leading them back down into the Argent tunnels. Even though Scott was a werewolf, Stephanie stood in front of the two boys, purple balls of energy in her hands as she walked down the tunnels.

As they walked, Scott's eyes fell to Stephanie's hands. His eyes widened as he realized that Stephanie's powers worked as a makeshift blue light. Faintly, just past Stephanie's hands, Scott could see a trail of black smoke lead them further down the hallway.

"Wait, Steph." Scott called out, making Stephanie and Stiles stop walking. They both turned to him and watched as he pointed to the smoke. Stephanie followed Scott's finger to see where he was pointing and as soon as she saw the smoke, she continued walking, following the smoke to see where it lead them.

"This is freaky as shit." Stephanie muttered to herself when the smoke slowly started to fade, leaving Stephanie right in front of words written on the floor in the same black smoke.

Damnatio Memoriae.

"What is that?" Stiles asked, he and Scott stopping right behind Stephanie, both of them trying to read the words in front of them.

"Latin." Stephanie answered, having learned the language before. Scott looked at Stephanie for a couple seconds, not knowing she had learned Latin before he turned back to the words on the ground. "Okay, well. Keep your hands there. I'm gonna get a picture of it."

Right as he opened his camera on his phone, Stephanie felt a burn on the back of her neck. She tried to hiss in pain, but she suddenly started to lose feeling in everything. Her hands started to shake as her hands went numb, making Scott scoff.

"Steph, hold the light still." He reprimanded, turning to look at Stephanie just as she and Stiles collapsed to the floor.

Stephanie fell onto her back, Stiles falling down beside her on his side, facing her. She glared at the kanima, Tracy, standing above her and Stiles. As Tracy ran at Scott, Stiles noticed Josh come running over from the other end of the hallway, heading right for Scott.

"Scott, behind you!"

Scott spun around at Stiles's yells. When he realized Josh was running for him, he turned back to Tracy, catching her wrist just before she could slash him. He turned tracy around and held her claw up just as Josh reached them, causing Josh to run right into Tracy's claws, paralyzing him.

Josh fell to the ground, on the other side of Stephanie, making the girl huff. Stiles chuckled at how poor Josh did in the fight, barely being able to see him from the other side of Stephanie.

"Sucks, doesn't it?" He joked, hoping to ease the tension, but it only aggravated Stephanie more. "Oh, shut up!" She yelled into the air, not being able to turn her head to look at Stiles.

After Scott knocked Tracy out, he growled at the wall. Stephanie looked at the boy like he was crazy, wondering why the hell he'd growl at the wall until Corey appeared out of thin air right in front of him.

Just before Scott could attack Corey, a voice from the end of the tunnel stopped him. "Okay! Maybe they're not ready to take on an Alpha. Especially one that can smell fear." Theo said, looking at Corey for his last sentence.

"He's got fangs!" Corey yelled back in reason, but Theo only rolled his eyes. He looked down to Josh, Stephanie, and Stiles on the ground, his eyes falling onto the words written into the cement. Without a second to waste, Theo raised his leg and slammed it back down, cracking the cement and ruining the words the three never got to take a photo of.

Scott looked around at all of the teens that were brought back to life, realizing that Will's story had been true. He turned to Theo with wide eyes. "Why did you do this?" He said in almost a whisper.

Theo smirked, shrugging nonchalantly. "I got some new friends. I don't take rejection well." He said before he looked back down to the ground, locking eyes with Stiles. "You're welcome for Will by the way." He said, making Stiles glare, his jaw clenching in anger.

Theo ignored Stiles's anger, turning back to Scott. "He's a little harder to get on my side, but it seems like he's not close with most of you either so I guess it's still a win." Theo chuckled out, not wanting to let the three know about his earlier conversation with Will.

Why spoil the fun?

Theo took a step closer to Scott, making the boy immediately take a step back. Theo rolled his eyes at Scott's movements. "You're going to leave here thinking that you need to worry about me. But you're wrong. We're actually back on the same side. Because that thing..." His eyes moved up to the hole in the ceiling. The same hole that lead to the crime scene of the technicians murder. "That's what we need to worry about. Your pack and mine. We're gonna go back to school and pretend like we're normal teenagers, but at night, we're going to be fighting for our lives."

"What is it?" Scott asked and instead of answering the question properly, Theo shook his head. "It's not a Chimera."

"But it's just a kid underneath. Someone like us." Scott said.

"Not anymore." Theo muttered as Tracy slowly started to get up. As she and Corey moved to stand beside Theo, the Raeken boy looked down at Josh, who was still paralyzed. Theo nodded his head to the paralyzed boy, making Corey and Tracy bend down, each of them wrapping one of Josh's arms around their shoulders to carry him out of the tunnels.

As the chimeras left, Scott helped Stephanie and Stiles moved to sit against the wall, helping Stephanie first then Stiles. Once they were both seated, Stiles huffed at the destroyed concrete and words on the ground. "I can't remember the words."

"Damnatio Memoriae." Stephanie said, making the two boys turn to look at her, silently waiting for her to explain. Taking the hint, Stephanie started to explain. "It means the condemnation of memory. I think it could also mean that whatever this last Chimera really is, it's not something new. It's something old. Like.. Really old."

"So they didn't create a new creature." Scott started and Stiles huffed, knowing what Scott was going to say next. "They resurrected one." Stiles finished as Scott moved to sit beside Stephanie, making her in between the two boys.

In the dirt, Scott traced a circle with his fingers. "We need help. If Theo's got his own pack now then we need ours. We have to get the others back." Scott said, earning a sarcastic laugh from Stiles. "The others? You mean Kira who's currently battling a homicidal fox spirit inside of her. Malia who isn't even speaking to either one of us?"

"Lydia who's stuck in Eichen House, Liam who almost killed you?" Stephanie jumped in, looking at the wall in front of her before getting enough feeling in her body back to turn her head to Stiles. "And Will who still is waiting for an explanation from you?" She sassed.

Stiles huffed at Stephanie's words as Scott hummed. "Also known as our best friends. Yes."

"Okay, how?" Stiles asked and Scott shrugged his shoulders as if it were obvious. "One by one."

Stephanie smiled at his words. Her spider birthmark, something she hadn't had to use in a while, finally was able to start moving across her body. She made the spider crawl to the back of her neck and bite her right where Tracy had cut her.

She started to immediately get her feeling back and after moving to sit more comfortably, she pressed two fingers to the sand inside of the circle Scott had traced.

At the same time, she and Scott turned to Stiles, waiting for him to join her. Stiles looked back and forth between his two friends before groaning. "You're not seriously going to make me do it?" He asked and Stephanie giggled in a taunting manner. "You're part of the pack, right?"

Stiles huffed, silently letting Scott and Stephanie know that he will do it. Weakly, Stiles brought his fingers beside Stephanie's and at the same time, teh two of them started to move their fingers in opposite directions, creating a circle that met on the other side.

Once their pack symbol was made, Scott turned to face Stiles. "We need to find Kira."

He and Stephanie stood up, both of them grabbing one of Stiles's arms to help him up. Stephanie groaned at Stiles's weight as she wrapped his arm around her neck. As they walked out of the tunnels, Stiles scoffed under his breath. "I still hate that tattoo." He muttered, earning a giggle from Stephanie and a sigh from Scott.

"We know."
