(y/n) POV

A few minutes after everyone boarded the bullhead we took off, "Oh...oh no!" A boy said, "Flying not agreeing with ya?" I said, "Nope, I hate this." He said weakly, "Here drink this, it should help a bit." I said as I handed him my water bottle, "Thanks." He said, "I'm (y/n) Fall." I said, "Nice to meet you, I'm Jaune Arc." Jaune said, "I'll see you around Jaune." I said, "Maybe we'll end up on the same team." He said, "Maybe." I said as I walked away.

'I wonder if I'll meet any cute girls while I'm here.' I thought, "No Aunt Stella would kill me if I got a girlfriend before she ends her thirty-nine year-long single streek." I said, "Wow your aunt sounds pathetic." a girl said, "Hi, I'm Terra Ascalon." She said, "I'm (y/n) Fall, and you're right, she can't get past the first date. But I love her, she's the closest thing to a mom I've got." I said, "Wait Fall? I think my mother mentioned someone with that name to me before?" She said, "Hm, they were probably just a family friend or something. Anyway, we should probably head to the auditorium." She said as she took my hand, "Come on." She said happily as she dragged me away. It was strange, I hardly knew this woman and yet I couldn't bring myself to disobey her. I was a bit nervous coming here on my own, but this girl makes me feel at ease.

"I'll...keep this brief. You have traveled here today in search of knowledge--to hone your craft and acquire new skills. And when you have finished, you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people. But I look amongst you, and all I see is wasted energy, in need of purpose – direction. You assume knowledge will free you of this, but your time at this school will prove that knowledge can only carry you so far. It is up to you to take the first step." Ozpin said, "You will gather in the ballroom tonight. Tomorrow your initiation begins, be ready. You are dismissed." Professor Goodwitch said, "Well he was rude." Terra said, "Mr. Fall please come with me." Professor Goodwitch said, "What did you do?!" Terra whispered, "I have no idea." I said.

"Mr. Fall, I would like to talk to you about your admittance here." Ozpin said, "Let's not beat around the bush here Ozzy, you're coming home." Aunt Stella said, "Why do I feel cornered here?" I asked, "Because it seems your aunt wants to revoke her recommendation. However, I would like to propose an alternative." He said, "We had a deal Ozpin!" Aunt Stella said angrily, "Relax I simply want (y/n) to prove himself to you." Ozpin said, "How?" I asked, "Well this is a school for huntsmen." He said, "You will fight your aunt. If he wins he stays and if not then do with him as you wish." He said, "Fine but I won't hold back just because I raised you." Aunt Stella said, "And I won't hold back just because you're my aunt!" I said.

"So how'd it go? Did you get expelled already?" Terra asked, "No not yet." I said as I walked away.

"Will you come home like a good boy or will auntie have to get rough." Aunt Stella as she cracked her whip.

"I need an adult." I said, "I AM AN ADULT!" She said as wrapped her whip around my leg and pulled my leg out from under me, "NOW YOU'RE IN FOR A REAL SHOCK SWEETHEART!" She said as electricity ran through the whip, "NICE TRY!" I said as I stabbed my blade into the ground, "So you finally figured out grounding, that's good now how will you deal with ice?" She said as my leg began to freeze, "Simple I'll melt it!" I said as I forced the frozen water to heat up and then shatter freeing me from her whip. "I was hoping to drain your aura without having to hurt you, but it seems that I'll have to be a bit more strict in your punishment!" She said, "WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS?!" I said, "Single streak." She said, "Oh...crap baskets." I said as she launched her whip at me again, "NOT THIS TIME!" I shouted as I activated my shields blocking her attack, "I was wondering where your mother's shields went, once this is over I will be taking those." She said, "Mom's hard-light shields. It's almost funny how a woman who used these to defend could also use them to kill!" I said as I launched my right shield at her, "A RANGED ATTACK?!" She said, "Mom upgraded these before she died! She gave them the ability to separate from the main gauntlet and become a remote control weapon!" I said as I tried to hit her, suddenly she stopped dodging and sent her whip deep into a portal on the ground, "No not this!" I said, "Where is it gonna come from?!" I said, "You really need to be more careful (y/n)." Terra said as I turned around and saw her blocking Aunt Stella's whip, "Now this is dangerous...so I'll remove it from the equation." She said as a stone spike held the whip in place, "This was supposed to be a one on one match young man." Aunt Stella said, "No, Ozpin never said that he said that this is a school for huntsmen and huntsmen work in teams." I said as my shield returned, "Fine then I'll get serious." She said as she drew her swords and combined them into a double-bladed spear.

"(y/n) let me handle her." Terra said as she drew her sword, "Me and my blade have somethings in common." She said, "Every time I draw it all I can see is red!" She said as she rushed at Aunt Stella, "And every time my blade is drawn someone dies!" She said as she slashed over and over again, "COME ON! I THOUGHT YOU WERE A PRO!" Terra said with sadistic glee, "THAT'S ENOUGH!" I shouted as I tackled Terra, "So the boy I stuck my neck out for decides to betray me! Fine looks like I'll claim two more victims." She said suddenly a purple hue formed around her, "Stella that's enough. You need to calm down now." Professor Goodwitch said from behind me, as I turned to face her I could've sworn I saw green flames shooting from my aunt's left eye, "I suggest you forget what you think you saw kid. Trust me this is a Pandora's Box you wanna avoid at all costs." A woman whispered from behind me but as I turned to face her I was met by falling feathers, "Mr. Fall please head to the ballroom, I'll see you first thing tomorrow morning." Professor Goodwitch said as she walked away.
