CHALLENGE ONE

In the first challenge, I would like you guys to write a single new short story related to the theme. The story does not need to have words from the theme in the title or in the story, but simply the concept. A friend of mine sent me this prompt and I thought it would be something interesting to explore and I cannot wait to see what you guys come up with.

Theme:  Monsters Under The Bed

Prompt: "Monsters under the bed are real, and they protect abused children from their parents at night."

Genre: Any. I thought I'd leave this option open to you. 

Word Count: Between 1,000 to 5,000 word. 

Be creative, guys! The characters can be of any age, under any setting, and the story can be a Mystery, Horror, Historical Fiction, or whatever you would like it to be. It can be set in the Present, Past, or Future. It's all up to you. 

RULES

📚 Your story entered for this contest must be new. That means it shouldn't have been published on Wattpad before. It must be original and stories that were posted prior to this contest will be disqualified.

📚 This is a one shot; which means you can either post it under a book where you post all your one shot collections that you enter into contests or be published as a brand new book.

📚 All entries must be in English. It's the only language that I can judge in. 

📚 Pay attention to grammar and spelling, it plays an integral part in judging. Don't forget to be creative. 

📚 Add the #brigadecontests2019 tag to your entry. 

📚 Once you have published your story; you may post the link to it in the comments section of this challenge below. That would be your entry. 

📚 Deadline: November 30, 2019.
