When the Holy Prophet Salallaho Alaihi Wasallam was to leave for Tabuuk he Salallaho Alaihi Wasallam appointed Hadhrat Aboo Bakr (R.A.) to lead the first Muslim Hajj congregation for pilgrimage in and around Makkah. Hadhrat Ali Radhi Allah hoo Unhoo (R.A.) was deputed later on to announce 40 verses of Sura Tauba cancelling the treaties with the border tribes who were hypocrites as in Sura IX : 1 to 8.
