"WE CAN'T BE TOGETHER. Everyone will get a misunderstanding. I didn't expect or know that you're my enemy . . . my wholehearted yet deadly kind-hearted enemy. If we don't want a war then it's best if we leave our ship to drown instead of sailing. This is better. Goodbye, Jungkook." Taehyung said quietly, his voice quivering as he looked at the dark brunette from one eye to another.
Fragile, bones weak, eyes burning from tears holding a rainstorm. With a heavy sigh, he sucked in a breath, hands balling into a fist. This is hard. Nothing is easy or hard. Life has its ups and downs like when you're on a seesaw, however, it feels empty when no one is at the other end.
Turning around, Taehyung started to take his leave along the chilly wind, drifting him off to nowhere or anywhere as long as he was far away from the man he loved.
As soon as he took a step, he felt a hand slid into his, tugging him back to be met with a firm warm chest, and was turned around. Jungkook pulled him into his chest, his strong arms enclosing around him securely. His chin resting on the younger's shoulder. A small smile lifted the light brunette's lips, but his eyes were dolorous, head buried in the right shoulder of Jungkook's.
"Never say goodbye because of goodbye means going away and going away means forgetting," Jungkook quoted whispered, tightening his arms around Taehyung.
In all fairness and honesty, goodbyes never failed and he hated hearing goodbye from his friends or loved ones. Not a single thought occurred to him that he'd have these burning aching yet tremendously deep affection for the idiot but a loveable new addition to the group.
No, he wasn't an addition.
Taehyung showed him more than adding and subtracting.
Taehyung was zero, a comet that fell down and made a miracle happen for him.
It was like that. The literal definition of how he changed his world. Laughing, the light brunette threw his head back, then lifted it up, his eyes meeting with the other's cloudy chocolate ones.
"Don't say things like that. You know it's impossible."
"We aren't impossible."

Upon arriving at the hospital quicker than they could ever imagine, only hoping Hoseok would be okay and treated to his injury, were the only thoughts bothering Seokjin, Yoongi, Taehyung, Jungkook, and the rest. Hoseok was okay and started feeling a little better. Night had sucked the daylight out of him and the world, closing the sky with a dark coat of twinkling stars and castle of clouds. The sound of clock ticking, cool air swimming through the hospital room filled the chilly atmosphere.
Seokjin sat on a chair next to a bed, head resting on his arms, eyes shut. He fell asleep where his husband was asleep too. He woke up to the sound of a body shuffling and concern flooded throughout him, noticing it was Hoseok.
Then it happened all at once. Words folded out like a paper ball uncurling and the list kept going on until it was paused. Tears escaped the rim of Seokjin's eyes, rolling off his cheek and hit the white cool blanket, creating a small puddle.
Once Hoseok sat up, his eyes widened, hearing the other uncontrollably spill words.
"This is all my fault. All of my fucking fault. None of this would've happened if I had saved you on time or I got shot instead if Shin Han Sol didn't want to kill you. If the world was less harsh. If I had been more keen, responsible, and aware. I failed my duty as a best friend, loved one. You don't deserve me. You don't deserve me at all. You don't deserve a guy like me, Hoseok."
It instantly came out like a river rollercoaster with rocks in the path and wind carrying the waves to the waterfall, tears continuously threatening to fall which did and kept on overflowing with his words.
"Seokjin it isn't your fault. What happened has happened. It's all in the past now. I'm okay, see?"
Hoseok's warm cheerful voice assured Seokjin, showing his injured side bandaged, then putting a hand on his shoulder to get ahold of his attention.
Taking slow deep breathes, he moved a little over to the left, adjusting space on the bed for the younger.
To his dismay, Seokjin didn't listen and continued talking whatever was driving his mind crazy.
"No, it is my fault. Everything is my fault. Me lying to you, do you believe that? Please tell me you do."
His voice trembled, eyes a thin glass layer.
"Stop it. When I said it's not your fault, it isn't Seokjin. And you'd never lie to me, so I'm not believing that you're going to or will ever lie to me because you've gained my trust. I wouldn't ever trust you either."
"Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! Why can't you understand the reason or how and why you're badly injured was because I didn't save you, that I'm the reason behind it. That I just sat there scared and shocked that the blood in my veins stopped, that my heart dropped. That if we hadn't sent you to a hospital on time you could've left before my very own eyes. I would never ever ever ever forgive myself because I failed my duty as your husband, as your best friend, as your loved one—" and just like that the ticking of the clock became inaudible all of a sudden. Everything was quiet except the instance Seokjin felt a hand on his cheek, thumb near his ear, lips crashing into his so softly yet desperately. It happened all too fast, his heart dropped the moment Hoseok covered his mouth with such a desperate and passionate kiss.
It took a moment for him to realize this and the fact he had melted into his arms. Hoseok's lips were warm against Seokjin's, hand sliding from his cheek to the back of his head, tangling in his short light chestnut hair. The dark brunette didn't deepen the kiss, knowing it would startle Seokjin even more. He then pulled away. Seokjin was at loss for words; his mind blank.
Heat crawled up his cheeks, both of their eyes shining. Hoseok's eyes were warm, soft and sweet, melting the insides of Seokjin. A warm smile made it's a way to the dark brunette's face, eyes crinkling.
Seokjin felt himself smile too.
"You didn't fail your duty as a husband. I did. I should've been more careful and not let you see me in pain. I shouldn't have made you so worried to the point you'd cry or be in grave despair."
A/N: So I have a major writer's block for almost all my books, but I will try little by little.
