❝ He had a golden mask, covering his milky skin, dark chocolate hair, and pulled rats with the eerie enchanting music he played, and pulled ladies with his utter charming smile. Trust in his eyes they said, and he was trustworthy after all ❞

The night had dawned over the morning and every corner of the hotel was dark. Gushes of wind swept through the opened window, the wooden door was opened halfway, creaking because of the wind coming in contact. Taehyung had his head resting on the Jungkook's chest, their legs tangled, while the darker brunette held onto his hand for dear life.

"Taehyung . . ." Jungkook breathed out as he turned his head, his eyes fell to the light brunette's soft facial features, his hair swept across his forehead, then he averted his eyes to Taehyung's lips.

Groaning, the light brunette rolled over, fluttering his eyes open to see the older awake. He couldn't help but smile at the sight of Jungkook next to him, holding onto him as if he was the most precious dear person to him.

"Good morning to you too," Jungkook whispered in Taehyung's ear and smirked the instant the younger's lips curved an embarrassing smile, his cheeks tinted a hue of red when he rolled over.

A wavering thought flooded his brain, so he rolled over once again, facing Jungkook, and opened his mouth to speak. He grasped the bedsheets between the tips of his fingers, his jaw clenched before he could say anything.

"I don't want to lose you, and you're making it seem like that." Taehyung's eyes shined in undeniable vulnerability as if he was about to pour tears of raindrops before completely flood the two in an ocean, however, he was met with Jungkook's comforting honey voice, pulling him out of his thoughts.

"Hey, shh, it'll be alright. I promise, " Jungkook forced a smile before lifting his hand to cup the younger's cheek. He kept his eyes on him, steady, then fell his eyes back to the bedsheet.

Taehyung too forced a smile.

"You promise?"

"I promise," Jungkook replied, bowing Taehyung's head, and pressed his lips against the light bruentte's forehead for a mere minute, but it felt more than a minute to the other. It felt like it was a sign to stay strong, I adore you, I love, and always will, forever.

. . .

"The book," Hoseok ordered, his hand out, eyes keen.

"What book?" Taehyung asked, lifting an eyebrow, "Ahh, my apologies," he slipped his hand into the pocket of jeans hugging his legs, sliding it out, and handed it over to Hoseok. While flipping through the pages, he skimmed over words, important details till he got a suitable answer for passing through the walls of the Kingdom of Busan.

"We need to find a way to pass those walls of the kingdom," Hoseok said, shutting the book, holding it in his hands, then gave it back to Taehyung. The younger nodded, taking it and put it away.

Yoongi, Taehyung, Jungkook, and Yoongi were now huddled, their arms around one another as they glanced at each other, hoping for a positive answer.

Jungkook was the first one who spoke.

"We need to disguise ourselves," Jungkook said in a dead flat serious tone, his jaw clenched.

"How do you suppose we disguise ourselves?" Yoongi folded his arms, raising an eyebrow. He wasn't so sure about this disguise thing. He knew Jungkook's pretty smart, but he still worried about getting beheaded.

"Ladies first!"

"Ladies first?" Yoongi paused, "Are you serious right now?" He started laughing.

"They'll of course, obviously let ladies pass no matter what as a sign for respect."

Three of the boys widened their eyes, astonishment washing over them.

"Is this a joke to you?" Three of them shouted.

"You'll see exactly what I mean."

. . .

And Jungkook here was right, however, faith had other plans.

When they had arrived at the Kingdom of Busan, galloping through the vanilla bridge, they gasped at how the trees were touched with snow, how the snow had almost taken up the pathway. Everything was touched with darkness, the sky was painted a very dark blue, thin stripes of clouds hovered over the magnificent castle.

"Holy shit!" Yoongi gasped, widening his eyes.

"Guys, I don't feel good about this," Taehyung dragged his eyes to Hoseok who had his jaw clenched, eyes keen.

"C'mon, we don't have another choice," Hoseok ordered, steering the horse by pulling on the reigns.

Soon enough they were galloping through the woods until they reached a very quiet, crispy, sorcery atmosphere filling the air that caused Taehyung to shriek when he heard something move in a bush they passed by.

He yelped, clasping a hand over his other, his chest rising then falling with widened eyes.

"Taehyung, calm down," Jungkook placed a hand on his shoulder, "it was just a bunny."

"Just a bunny? What if it was dangerous?" Taehyung exclaimed.

Suddenly an eerie music filled their ears as a thin strip of cloud flew above the sky, and the clouds undulated away, so the full moon could shine brighter than their thoughts at the moment.

"Hey, shh. I thought I heard something," Hoseok shushed Taehyung and Jungkook as the horse walked with steady steps, backed away at the change of smell flowing into his nostrils.

Hoseok's horse tried steering the red-head away, "Hey, what's wrong with you?" Hoseok placed a hand to the horse's face as to comfort him, "We have to go this way, okay? It'll be alright." The horse nickered, ears perked in his rider's direction. "Ready, buddy?" His horse nickered softly, then raised in the air, his legs were like stepping on stairs before he landed back on the ground.

Once they almost exited the deathly dark woods which were sort of illuminated by the moon's light, they stopped in their tracks upon hearing that same eerie tone like it was luring them closer to that particular sound.

Immediately their eyes widened in extreme astonishment when a person's back was to them, and turned their head around, appearing from the dark with a piper between the tips of his fingers.

He wore a golden decorated mask, covering his face and had a slight smirk attached to his lips, yellow lemon drop eyes sparkling with pure mischief. An immense black cloak he wore, hiding his figure.

Then he greeted them, taking off the mask.

"Peek a boo." And his lips curled into the nastiest smirk, his ear perked with utter joy at the appearance of the four.
