❝ Love was never this easy ❞

"I'm so sorry, love," The brunette whispered, walking closer to the glass window that wasn't shattered yet. He swung a chair, hitting the window with it and glasses cracked, littering across the dark blue floor.

He held the baby in his arms, Hoseok dangerously hung to the bar of the building, pulling himself. But his hands were slipping, he couldn't hold on. His eyes widened, seeing the man before him. He had a blue blanket, covering his face and head. Only his light brown orbs were visible. The tall, milky skin man who's eyes electrified guilt, threw the baby out of the window before the man who's holding onto the bar.

As if silence had thrown Hoseok too, gravity already having in plans for the red-flaming haired man and the baby, he let his finger tips almost immediately let go of the bar.

And gravity had taken a hold of him as well.

The man covering his face and head had left, not caring about the baby and the other in his beautifully decorated mask,

"I'm sorry." He whispered, a wet droplet rolling of his pale, sad, hurt face.

Hoseok fell down off the building, wind gushing from above him as his coat hovered below him, making swishing noises. He pulled out a rope that was attached around his belt and threw it in the air, recalling Yoongi would be at the edge of the building he had fallen from.

Yoongi caught the rope and tied it around the dog statue, making sure it was tight enough. He grunted, taking steps back and spoke into his blue tooth. "Taehyung where are you? Hoseok needs you, I think I saw someone familiar that threw a baby boy down the building."

"Copy, ssshhshststzs, Yoongs, Just follow that man. I've got to take care of Hoseok before he falls hard on the road and the poor baby boy as well." Taehyung speak'ed into his bluetooth, darting through the trees, widening his eyes, seeing a huge explosion erupt before him. Millions of people ran away from the fire explosion, ducked, and cried as asteroids fell hard on the road, cracking it and only dirt was seen.

Even the green plant that came out alive actually died, feeling the asteroid push it into tiny withered leaves. "Jung Hoseok! You will come out or I will ruin this city, better yet the world." HanSol shouted, standing on one of the building, smiling his deathly smile as he heard a faint voice that he recognized.

Sooner than or later, Hoseok successfully caught the rope that hanged loosely above him and held on to it tightly as he climbed the rope. Wind gushed through him that he collided with the building's glass window and then, he struggled climbing feeling birds rest on his shoulder.

They weren't those blue jays or humming birds. They were crows, cawing and flew away through the city's booming, polluted air. Hoseok grunted with each grip he moved his body with the rope swinging side to side. Taehyung leaped through the dead leaves of the trees and jumped down, pulling an air bag from behind him, floating down and caught the baby in his arms before he fell down.

The baby whined as if it was his last and Taehyung calmed his breathing, looking up at Hoseok struggling to climb to the top of the building. He ducked as asteroids stormed above him and slid on his stomach, covering the baby in his arms.

Silence.

Everything became silent as if death made it's way for the brunette carrying the baby in his arms. An asteroid landed on Taehyung, pushing him into the road. Yoongi blinked, not believing what he saw, a tear rolled of his cheek, helping Hoseok to reach the top of the building.

"Taehyung.... Tell me you're alive if the baby isn't." Jungkook said, softly, tears streaming down his cheeks, standing in the middle of Yoongi and Hoseok.

A hand darted up and everyone exclaimed, cheering and became lively, finding out that the brunette was safe and sound. He managed to roll the large asteroid out of the way and come out from under the road, surprising everyone. They saw a baby boy sitting on top of his head as he stood up, panting, his face slightly covered in dirt. He swiped the dirt of the baby's face and did his famous rectangular smile that caught people's attention and awed when the baby giggled.

"FUCK!" Hansol cursed under his breath, gritting his teeth, noticing Hoseok's friend alive. He hurried through the building's roof tops and jumped, reaching the next one, just in time when his son sat on the roof. His hair disheveled, a frown resting upon his dim face. "You know what to do, now do it." Hnsol smiled as his son nodded. "That's my great son that's soon to rule the world with me!"

Exactly what Jin was supposed to do, he did. He stood up, fire shooting at every inch of his body due to skittish feeling. However, he shook his head, getting rid of the thought. He had no choice but to obey his father's commands.

Without a second thinking, noticing Hoseok leap through the building, hair disheveled, gritting his teeth as the others followed him. Jin took steps back, pulling out a lighter from the pocket of his pant and recalled where the bomb was placed on the roof of the building he's standing on.

He didn't care anymore, Jin realized the world was full of death traps and tiny bit of pure light extending it's rays at him. The light brown-haired man held a lighter in his hand, resting his thumb on the spark wheel, and quickly with a powerful motion of his thumb, he rolled spark wheel button down into the ignition button, holding down the ignition button. A blazing, searing flame popped up, just a tiny bit. He moved away, noticing Hoseok and his mates reach where he is.

Just in time, the four had reached, Jin thew the lighter across him, hooded brown eyes, looking at the beautiful mess he just created.

A blazing, sizzling fire erupted in front of Hoseok, Yoongi, Taehyung, Jungkook, and Taehyung. They had no idea where this eruption came from all of the sudden, gasping for oxygen before they were enveloped in the very burning heat of flames sizzling.

Another fiery, blistering explosion erupted behind Jin as he walked away with a serious facial expression. Eyes dark, hair disheveled, a mark or two scratched upon his face, cheekbones strong, and he formed a fist.

A few chairs, tents, seats, and other important belonging on the roof jumped into the steamy, smoking air, and all could he heard was cries and grunts in the polluted, booming city had become.

He wasn't sorry one bit.

Even though it did ache his heart to hear the cries.

"It's just like what they say, Hoseok, star-crossed lovers." Jin spoke, looking over his shoulder to see another explosion erupt.

Hi! Hello! Hello everyone! I'd like to say we are halfway into the story!

Hooray! Thank you so much for all the support. I cannot thank you enough! I'll make sure to read each and every comment and give ya'll a nice chapter.

I really do try, but I feel like it's not enough. I love to write these kinds of genres which are mystery-thriller and adventure and action, however, it's really hard because it's my first time and I don't know much about it.

This book will be going under heavy major editing and revising after some time this fanfiction is complete. As always, if you liked the chapter, don't forget to vote and comment!

Love you always - 🍩 Hayun
