I sit on my comfortable and cozy couch in my flat, trying to get my confused thoughts together upon what I saw just a few days ago.

I just can't believe Layla, she's falling for Roger when she is suppose to be falling for me!

I think she got jealous when she saw me and my precious cousin Elizabeth all snuggled up together.

I should've thought better and not mess up my chances with Layla like that. Now I've lost her again and I have to find a way to get her back to me!

So I stand up slowly, run a hand through my long and curly hair, and walk over to my refrigerator to see Layla's number on it.

I pick it up and sigh slowly. Will this ever work if I call her? I should just try, but I'm going to fuck things up again!

Not thinking, I pick up the phone and dial the number. Oh bloody hell! What have I done! As I was about to hang up and freak out, I hear a sweet and gentle voice in my ear.

"Hello? Layla Robertson here." I hear Layla say.

Fuck! What do I say? How do I say it? I feel my head reeling and my palms feeling sweaty.

"Well... uh... This is Brian. I just wanted to know how you are doing the past few days and I also want to apologise for something I did." I mumble nervously.

"Oh my god! Hello Brian! I'm excited you called me! I'm doing ok and thanks for asking. I think I know what you are about to say. Look Bri, I know you strongly regret what happened a few weeks ago and I'm still a little shaken from it. I have some news for you that might upset you in some ways. I saw you yesterday with that girl you were with and honestly I was bit jealous because I..." I can hear her voice trembling with fear and she sounds like she is about to cry.

"I fancy you a lot at first and you took me off track a bit. That's when Roger found me and cared for me. Now, we are happily in love with each other ever since that day. Brian, I hope we can still be the best of friends and still contact each other! Do you agree?" Layla exclaims with a bit of happiness in her voice.

"Well Layla, I'm surprised. I'm sorry I kinda shocked you last night. That girl, whose name was Elizabeth, was actually my cousin and it has been a long time since I seen her, so I tried to love all over her. I'm sorry for that also. I'm glad that you're happy with Roger. He is surely going to keep you happy!" I chucked on the phone and she laughed back hysterically.

"Anyways, I would still love to contact you all the time and yes I will still be your best friend of all time! Maybe we can meet somewhere soon! I need to see your beautiful face soon!" I blush to myself and I hear Layla smiling through the phone.

"Of course! Maybe in Hyde Park! I will tell you details later on! Nice talking with you, my dearest best friend! I'll talk to you later! Have a good day and see you really soon!" Layla says with sexiness in her voice.

"Oh that's great! Hyde Park is wonderful! See you then and take care, love! Can't wait to see you!" I grin through the phone as Layla says bye again and hangs up.

I squeal to myself and hold the piece of paper that has Layla's number written down close to my chest and kisses it gently.

I just can't wait to see her! I need to do something special for her when I see Layla at Hyde Park. Something original and romantic for her.

Maybe I should write a song and show her! I might need John's help with that because he creates the greatest songs ever. This time, this meeting with Layla will be absolutely magical and great.
