"Brendan dawo nan! (Brendan Get back here!)" yelled out an elderly lady as a teenager was currently running away while laughing to himself, and then hid behind a building "Hakan ya kusant (That was close)" He said to himself while dusting his clothes off.

He looked around before going towards the corner of the building and reached into his pocket pulling out an apple. "Kawai apple, Damn (Only an apple, damn)" He mumbled before taking a bite and then heard someone grunt in pain as he walked over to the sound and saw a very tall dark skinned man, who he assumed was atleast 7'1 with a large cybernetically enhanced right arm, legs and some parts on his left hand laying on the ground with a large wound on his left side.

"Kana lafiya? (Are you okay?) He asked him while walking over to the man who looked up at him. "Wanene ku? (Who are you little one?" Brendan kneeled down and looked at the wound "Ni ne Brendan kuma hakan bai yi kyau ba (I'm Brendan and that doesn't look good) He said which made the man laugh.

"Na fuskance mafi muni (I've faced worse)" He said before coughing up blood "Da alama ba za ku iya rike wannan ba (Seems you couldn't handle this)." Brendan said which made the man chuckle again "Zan iya amfani da wani taimako (I could use some assistance)" The man said before passing out which made Brendan sigh and help him up to his house.

(Timeskip)

Brendan had finished stitching the man's wound and sat down on a chair as the man woke up and looked around. "Ina Ina? (Where am I?) He asked "Gida na (My home)" Brendan replied which made the man turn to him "Kuna da godiya na (You have my thanks)" He said which made Brendan nod. "Shin, ba ku Doomfist? (Aren't you Doomfist?)" The now named Doomfist chuckled "Tsoron? (Afraid?)" "Na yi tsammanin za ku fi fuskantar barazanar (I expected you to be more frightnening)".

Doomfist stood up and then rose his fist up.

"Ina son ku yaro (I like you kid)" He said which made Brendan smile and chuckle as well "Ina so in zama mai horar da ku (I want to be your apprentice)" He said as Doomfist rose an eyebrow "Me yasa za ku zama mai horar dani? (Why should you be my apprentice?)" Brendan stood up and showed his hands which had scars on them. "A koyaushe ina sata daga mutane don riba na, har ma na yi gwagwarmaya don tsira. Ba zan iya zama mai koyo mai kyau ba amma ina da rai da daraja. (I always stole from people for my own gain, and even fought to survive. I may not be a good looking apprentice but I have soul and honor.)".

Doomfist looked at the boy before him and saw himself before smirking. "Idan kuna da abin da zai ɗauka, zan horar da ku. (If you have what it takes I'll train you" He said which made Brendan get a bigger smile on his face "Da gaske?! (Really?!)" Doomfist nodded and then stuck his hand out "Ni, Akande Ogundimu, zan horar da ku. (I, Akande Ogundimu, Shall train you)" He said as Brendan shook his hand.
