Chapter 5

Xavier had been mad a lot of times, but this time he was furious. His hand slammed down onto his desk as he sent death glares towards his incompetent servants. The only pleasure he got out of it was the scared looks on their faces.

"What do you mean she isn't there?" He growled, his Alpha tone taking over and making fear wash over the two servants. Their knees shook as they glanced at each other.

"S-she's gone, s-sir." One of them said. Xavier's lips curled as he snarled. The two servants fell to their knees, fear consuming their entire bodies. They knew that if they didn't come back with the girl, they might as well have not come back at all. But they were loyal servants after all.

"Then tell me this. Where could she have gone, hmm? She's in the middle of nowhere. Did you at least attempt to trace her scent?" He asked, buzzing with anger. The servants glanced at each other.

"W-we traced her scent as far as the border a-and then we lost it." The other explained, swallowing hard as Xavier's cold black eyes landed on him.

"And which border was that?" The servants glanced at each other, neither one speaking first. They knew Xavier was not going to be happy. They jumped as Xavier growled, forcing them to look at him.

"Which border?!"

"Alpha Parker's." The first one blurted out, his voice rising in fear. Xavier's face became stone faced, but you could still see the anger in his eyes.

"Parker's, huh?" Xavier questioned, stroking his chin in thought. How had she escaped and was able to walk six miles to his border? He smirked as he remembered her cries of pain. She even begged him to stop, but there was no way he could. He lived for pain.

"Sir?" The other piped up and Xavier moved his gaze to his.

"What?" He snarled.

"W-we found another scent as well." Xavier sighed and fell into his chair.

"If it was a rabbit, let me kill you now." Xavier said in a bored tone. The servant swallowed hard.

"N-no, sir. It...it was one I've never smelled before." This intrigued Xavier. This servant had been with him since the beginning.

"Oh?" He looked at the other, petrified servant. "Did you know this scent? I mean, you use to work for the Parker's, didn't you?" The servant nodded and Xavier smirked.

"Who's scent was it?" He snapped as the servant jumped, his face ashen white. Why did he ever leave the Parker's? Now he was a traitor. He swallowed hard and licked his dry chapped lips.

"C-Cameron Parker's, sir." Xavier's lip curled in anger and his eyes turned black as his wolf threatened to surface.

"Out, NOW!" Xavier growled. Both servants jumped to their feet and scurried out, closing the large wooden doors behind them. Xavier's body shook with anger, his hands gripped the desk so tightly his knuckles were white. How was Cameron Parker there? How? This angered and frustrated Xavier as he tried to calm his wolf down.

Xavier had this red hot anger towards the Parker's, Cameron especially. Cameron and Xavier had once been friends in elementary school, but then Xavier's parent's were killed in the name of treason by Cameron's father. After that, Xavier was bullied by Cameron and his friends and therefore sent off, socially banished from the pack. Since then, Xavier has had this life long hatred of the Parker's. He's been able to round up other individuals who also hated the Parker's as well as random rogues.

But somehow Macy had ended up with him. Somehow they had found each other. Or maybe he had rescued her from the tree. Xavier growled as the pieces came together.

He was going to get her back and kill Cameron Parker once and for all.
