"Mr. North, are you a Split Specialist?" I ask.
"I've set a record. They only call me in when someone has paid a lot." He answers.
Wow, as expected of boss!
I walk back home, which is a long walk. I step along the concrete footpath and I ran into Jack.
I simply ignore him by walking passed him but he grips my shoulder.
"Why didn't you come to school?" He asks me, in a very intimidating way.
I push his hand off my shoulder, and keep walking. Rapunzel isn't here there's no use in arguing.
"Is it about Hicc?" He asks.
"Don't call him Hicc." I say, "It irritates me."
"So, do you really like Hicc then?" He asks me.
"Can you stop with that already ..." I groan, "He's my best friend. Plus how would irritation result in love?"
"You would understand if you were in love." He tells me.
That's it! I need to understand the concept of love, before I pursue the crushing of it. But I need to do it fast.
"What is the concept of love Jack?" I ask him.
Jack jumps back suprised then turns back to his normal composure and chuckle, "Don't ask me. I can't explain it."
Ugh, it's going to take longer to understand what love is.
"People are different when it comes to love." He tells me, "Different approaches. It's no use telling you mine as everyone else falls into love differently."
Falling into love sounds like effort ... no thanks.
"How did you fall in love?" I ask and he responds with a shrug.
How could he not know? He is in love right now.
"Your an idiot." I tell him. He is seriously no help at all, and I am going nowhere with this breakup.
"Anyway, Hiccup only told Rapunzel about you because he wanted her to understand you a bit more. Because you're really complex as a person." He tells me.
"Did he tell you to deliver a message?" I ask.
"No, I just sort of assumed from what I heard. He wanted you to make more friends and you did." He says.
"So ... you're my friend?" I reassure.
"Yeah." He confirms.
"Gross." I spit.
Jack shudders in anger, "What?! I just said you were my friend! You know how much I had to swallow my pride?!" He yells at me.
... I started to giggle and Jack Frost's anger transformed into suprise.
"You should go home." Jack mummbles with his hand around his neck. I walk with him towards my apartment block.
I stop giggling and narrow my eyes at him, I shouldn't let my guard down around him. I shouldn't even laugh. I must keep a tough exterior.
"I was planning on doing that," I snarl, "Until you came along. Plus I decline your friend request. See ya!"
I turn around and wave my hand from behind.
"That girl ..." I hear him say with frustration.
I zoom off, I don't want him to know where I live, I don't want him to knock on my door and find out I am not such a broke girl anymore. Then they will become suspicious of me. Then I have to make up some crazy unrealistic story because nothing realistic can cover it up.
For the time being, I need to basically grasp Jack and Rapunzel's relationship. Forget the concept of love for now ...
Let's focus on the concept of crushing love.
My phone rings crazily and I dig into my pocket.
"Hello?" I answer.
"It's Mr. North. Tomorrow would you like to come with me? We are going to visit someone." He says.
"Who?" I ask.
"A victim of our doings." He replies, "Anyway you should come, you still don't have your grasp yet."
"Okay, I'll be there." I confirm.
"I will text you the details. Farewell Ms. Arendelle." He hangs up.
Yes! I might learn a thing or two.
