Gulf's POV

I can't believe I cried that day, I was so furious and ended up blurting out everything I kept in my heart for the past half year, yes, it have been 6 months already since I met that CEO, I don't care if he keep hating me but all I wish for is to see him getting along with his nephew and it seem my wish was granted.

Mew started paying attention to Por, well he is still having a hard time communicating comfortably with him but at least he looks like he is trying, I not sure if what I said woke him up but seeing him exchanging a few words and even joining his nephew for dinner keeps making me smile.

My boss is really doing his best and started treating Por much, much better, buying him gifts and even picked him a couple of times from his nursery this week, I watched them watching TV sitting next to other made me feel warm, that's how a real family should be.

The chairman would visit us once a week and almost cried when he say his grandson and his great grandson sitting together teaching Por how to write, he kept hugging Mew that day who was surprised but hugged him back.

That's right, that childish CEO also started treating his grandfather better which eventually brought tears to the old man who kept saying how happy and glad he was also expressing how much he loved both of them, seeing them like that made me so emotional too, it's really nice to have a family.

"papa! I'm happy" the little boy suddenly came running saying with shiny eyes, being astonished I looked at him while he was jumping around repeating that he is happy, I smiled warmly kneeling down facing him

"I'm happy that you are happy Por, I want you always to look like this"

"yes papa!!!" he came hugging me as I hugged him back, lately he started looking healthier and the medicine he got helped building his immunity system and was getting sick less and less.

"you got so attached to the little boy Gulf" Mild said while eating dinner, Por was taken by his grandfather today so I had free time to meet Mild

"yes, he is very cute, smart and obedient boy, anyone would love him" he smiled

"I also could feel that but" he looked to me putting his knife and fork down

"won't it be better to start keeping your distance from him?"

"why?" I was confused

"well, he is doing well with his uncle now and one day you will have to move out of your boss's place, I don't want to see you hurt brother" I looked at him with wide eyes, Mild is right, it will hurt so much when I leave that house and getting away from Por

"you're right but I already love him a lot and when that day come I will leave with a smile, even though it may hurt but I still love him and always will so I want to enjoy every moment with him while I still can" I smiled making Mild nodded understanding me

"I'm just worried about you well since you're already attached to him it can't be helped, you are welcome to cry in my embrace when you leave" he opened his hands wide making me chuckle

"just imagining it gives me Goosebumps, keep your embrace to your future girlfriend"

"ah! Speaking of girlfriend, I think I will have one soon" I giggled

"your flirting skills must have improved then"

"you're mean as always, anyway, there is this girl I met..." Mild kept talking about this girl he is into for the rest of the night

"Mr. Mew, this is your schedule for today" I said passing the tablet to him

"weren't I supposed to meet Mr. Chai today for lunch?"

"his secretary just called saying he got a sudden business trip so we moved the meeting to next Monday by 4 pm"

"how is the progress of the fashion show event, I still didn't get any report about that"

"it's almost finished, I got contacted by P' Zee and he said that they need to finish selecting the final male models and will pass me the report tomorrow afternoon"

"why do you keep calling the COO P'? it makes you feel like you are very familiar and friendly" he asked making me stare at him for moment, he never asked any question unrelated to work before

"he asked me to call him that when we first met saying that he us to get along well for work sake so I accepted and started calling him P'"

"well, whatever, oh I got an invitation for a party this Saturday, prepare a good present and send it to Mrs. Kannika" he said looking to his computer

"may I ask what kind of party it is?"

"the birth of her first child"

"is it a boy or a girl?"

"a boy" wow he is answering me so calmly, hearing and seeing him like that makes me so nervous, will there be a storm soon? I nodded heading out

"wait" I turned facing him

"yes?"

"free this Friday for me" I was confused, he never asked me to do this before

"may I know the reason?"

"Por's kindergarten is holding a one day trip for all the kids with their parents, I want to go with him" I was completely lost for words, this CEO is going on a trip with his nephew, I did my best to hold my laughter making myself look calm

"yes Mr. Mew, but there is a lot of paper work that needs to be taken care of this week"

"give it all to me, I will stay all night to finish everything"

"alright, I will bring everything back home then"

"you can leave now" the moment I stepped outside I started laughing, I mean try to imagine it the famous CEO wearing casual clothes going on a trip with a little kid.

"papa are you coming too?" Por asked while we were eating dinner, Mew surprised the innocent boy with his decision of accompanying him to the trip

"I'm sorry I can't, I still have to go to work" he looked sad while Mew stayed silent

"I want papa and uncle to come with me" I smiled cleaning his mouth from ketchup

"we will go on many other trips so don't be sad" the little boy nodded but still looked sad

"you can come, for Por's sake" I looked at him my mindstil doesn't process what the elder boy said

"I can go with you?"

"I don't want to repeat myself"

"but what about work?"

"I won't be there all day anyway" Por's eyes shined so bright

"thank you uncle! I love you!!!" He said holding Mew's right hand, who was next to him, after putting Por to sleep I went to the elder's room

"those are all the files that needs to be finished for the next two days " I sat on a chair facing him while he sat on the sofa

"Leave the charts and data reports for tomorrow night" he said as I quickly took them away

"how many other we will get tomorrow?"

"only P' Zee's report about the event" he sighed taking the first one

"btw, what did you choose as a gift?" I took out my phone and showed him pictures

"I chose this baby toy small bed and a set of animal boy bodysuits"

He looked at the photo of the bed and nodded showing that he is satisfied with the gift, honestly I kept getting surprised by his sudden change of behavior I witnessed all day, sensing how I felt

"what's wrong?" he asked still focusing on his paper

"nothing, just surprised by how much you changed, this is actually the first day after 6 months that we talked this much without fighting"

"I still hate you" I chuckled rolling my eyes

"I don't mind as long as your treat family well"

"whatever"

"well I'm going to sleep now, wake me if you need anything" I said going out

It's the day of the trip, I woke up early and prepared lunch boxes for the three of us then I woke up Por and helped him get ready, just when I went down to pack everything, Mew came out of his room wearing casual clothes, I got used seeing him in home clothes but today looked different, he gave the vibe of being a mature father but at the same time looked so cool and young which made me keep staring at him, he looked a completely different person.

Well, it was a trip to the famous park 'KidZania' where children can learn about adult jobs through realistic role-play , Por was so excited about it and was half dancing next the door waiting for his uncle to get down. It was an awkward drive sitting in the passenger sit while Mew is driving and we didn't exchange a word and I kept mostly talking to Por.

As soon as we arrived, the excited boy joined his other classmates, parents were whispering surprised to see the famous CEO coming to a kids park and hearing Por calling him and me papa, honestly it made me nervous and very conscious but the cool uncle, being cod toward strangers as always ignored them and walked away as I followed him.

We stood in silence watching Por trying different things and having fun with other children, I was so glad that he was getting along with other kids smiling and running around, I was worried that he may avoid others but he turned out to be different from this stupid uncle next to me

"can you at least fake a little smile? Everyone is watching and taking pictures of you" I bend a little whispering while he kept looking at his nephew

"I don't want to" he said with a monotone voice

"at least for Por's sake so other kids won't say that he have a grumpy arrogant uncle" he looked at me or I'm sure he was glaring behind his dark glasses

"you got a lot braver recently talking to me like that"

"not braver but I got used to your behavior and nothing you say or do can scare me anymore" I shrugged my shoulders then looked back to Por who looked at us and waved I waved back then glanced to Mew who actually also waved back also and showed him a little smile, a fake one of course since his stiff face still can't show real smiles.

By lunch we sat eating and talking about random things but mostly Por who described how thrilled he was and how he wants to keep trying other things looking eager, he surely became a real kid and I was so proud of him, yet being the center of attention made me feel uncomfortable, people kept taking picture of us and I could hear them whispering.

After a long day of playing around, we got back, Por fell asleep the moment he sat in the car, I kept watching his angelic face as a pure smile was formed on his face

"thank you for giving this innocent boy such a happy memory" I said unconsciously, I quickly hid my mouth looking ahead

"I'm his uncle so I have to do it" hearing him reassured me that he really is trying his best for Por's sake.

"you only need to work on your expressions and you will be a complete man"

"I don't want to be perfect"

"no I didn't mean perfect because you will never be, but what I meant is you be a great uncle who can show his expressions in front of his family, smiling and all, to show and share your real feelings with them that's all"

"it's hard" he said still focusing on the road

"I know that's why you need to keep trying for your nephew and grandfather" we went silent for the rest of the drive.

I'm glad I blurted out everything that day because I'm able to say anything I want now without even considering our positions as a secretary and boss which make me a lot comfortable in this work and happier for the changes that happened between his relationship with Por.
