Mew's POV

The past two weeks were hectic because of the event that we help at the 'Okura prestige' hotel I was so busy that I didn't even remember that that shitty secretary was living with me, well I don't see him in the morning when I wake up and only saw him a couple of times by night.

After the event, everything got back to normal, I arrived to my office and started checking the mountain files I have on my desk, just looking at them makes me groan none stop, he quickly left the coffee and the sweets and left without uttering a word, we didn't even have time to fight at all, those kind of events are so tiresome.

"P' Zee is here" he simply said through the phone, since when did he start calling the COO P'

"let him in" I said opening the first file folder

"good morning my friend"

"morning"

"wow, what a tall mountain you got there"

"since you saw it spare me the blabbering and tell me what you want quickly" he rubbed the back of his neck looking hesitant

"what?" I asked making him come closer

"please, forgive me!!!" as soon as he finished the secretary came inside in a hurry looking shocked

"Mr. Mew it's an emergency!" he said with rushed voice

"can't you see I'm busy with P' Zee?" I glared at him

"someone just called and told me that your interview was set for today at 2 pm"

"what interview? I told you to reject-"

"I told her that we never accepted any interviews but she told me that someone else from our company did" he cut me off explaining, I looked to the COO who was feeling guilty and sorry

"you did this ?" I half yelled standing up

"I'm so so so sorry, I was at the bar last night and was flirting with this beautiful girl and somehow got so drunk, it seem I made her a promise that I will drag you for the interview and she even made me sign a paper, I'm really sorry Mew" I was angry, I keep having a problem after another

"you are an idiot, why did you drag me into this!!"

"yes I'm so stupid forgive me, I know I messed up, I promise this won't happen again" the COO said guilt eating him

"what kind of an interview?" I asked

"she said that it's a typical one but I will make sure and come back" the taller man said going out, I glanced to Zee who was looking depressed

"this is the first and last time"

"yes I promise, thank you thank you so much, I'm so grateful"

"I'm only accepting it for the sake of the company, I don't wan any troubles"

"yes I know, I will cancel my afternoon meetings and go with you"

"no need, I can handle it" the apologetic man thanked me again and left, not long after the secretary came again with the tablet

"I checked different videos of that female's interviews, they may ask tricky questions or some about your private life, more over it seen they can find information that they're not supposed to be known in public should I prepare for you a list of most common questions?" he asked passing me the tablet

"no need, I will just check the videos, do I have any afternoon meetings?"

"no, nothing for today"

"I was supposed to rest today, just doing paper work, that stupid COO..." I mumbled

"will I accompany you Mr. Mew?"

"dumb as always, of course you have, it will be weird if you don't show up as my personal secretary since everyone knows about your existence" I could see he was holding himself showing me a cold fake smile

"please finish checking the red folders before we leave" he said going out, I laid back on my chair sighing, I'm so tired

Once we arrived we were met by a smiley woman who led us inside, she looked so happy, I sat on a chair as someone got closer

"no makeup" I said making that person froze, but he smiled

"just a little foundation and a lip gloss" he was holding a brush closer to my face but his hand was held by the man behind me

"he said no makeup so please leave" the makeup artist quickly took his tools and left, the woman who tricked the COO yesterday came greeting us

"welcome to our humble studio Mr. Suppasit, it's an honor meeting you in person" she reached her hand for a handshake but I ignored her looking away, she awkwardly pulled away

"oh you must be the famous secretary, Mr. Gulf Kanawut" he smiled a little and nodded

"I'm lucky to be in front of two handsome men" I kept ignoring her but the other stepped in front of her making her surprised while I kept starring

"give me the paper that P' Zee signed yesterday" she looked at him wide eyes with pale face

"but... I –"

"I can't have you use it again, now" his serious tone made her froze for a moment and she quickly went to her bag got the paper and handed to him, he showed it to me to verify that stupid sign, I nodded a little as he stepped back and hid it in his jacket internal pocket, he is pretty useful during those situation

"it's time can you both go sit there?" the cameraman said making me look at him in confusion

"there is only me here"

"oh, your secretary is a part of the interview too" I glanced to him to find him so shocked and confused, she shook his head looking at me

"why would you interview him?"

"because he is a special person" the female from earlier got back with a smirk on her face that hid her ulterior motives, I was holding myself back, the urge to destroy this place is killing me, we sat next to each other while that bitch sat facing us and the interview began

"... could you please introduce yourselves" I glanced at the camera

"Mew Suppasit, the CEO of xxx company"

"Gulf Kanawut, his personal secretary" he had a nervous tone but he kept a calm face

"you are an astonishing person Mr. Mew, becoming the CEO at the age of 27 years old, you graduated from Chulalongkorn University as the top student of your faculty when you where only 23 years old"

"yes" I simply said

" and you too Mr. Gulf you were always the top student and graduated from Kasetsart University as the top of your faculty as a software engineer"

"that's right"

"then why are you working as a personal secretary of the CEO of the famous xxx company? Where you forced into that job?" he it comes the annoying questions and this bitch is making me even more annoyed, but he stayed call and gave her a fake faint smile

"no, I was not forced, the company found me skilled enough and offered me the position, I wanted to use everything I have to that company so I accepted, after all xxx company is the first one I applied for and I'm sure many would love to work there too" his answer is quite acceptable

"it's weird, it's known that Mr. Mew always refused to have any secretary since long ago so why would you accept you as his personal secretary" I glared at her for a moment then looked to the camera again

"Becoming the CEO comes with a very big responsibility and a lot of work, I even was admitted to the hospital once as everyone know for exhaustion and overwork so I finally decided to get a secretary to share work with, and I'm glad I did, actually if I didn't get a secretary, I wouldn't be here today" I glared at her again but she kept asking annoying stupid questions with her bitchy voice

"... actually one of our sources provided us with some interesting information about you Mr. Mew, you have been dating a girl since high school and you also had a very close friend, it seem you were a childhood friends too, but something happened when you were in university and that girlfriend left" I was speechless, how did she found out about this, no one knows about that accident except for family members, I looked to find her smirking evilly

"can you tell us what happened with that girl? Are you meeting again? "My brain stopped working, who could have leaked such information

"it was a failed relationship like many others, they just didn't understand each other well so they decided to separate and they never met again, like any other break up just like yours, I heard you found out that your ex-boyfriend was cheating on you and that's why you got separated, it must have been hard on you, I hope you will find a better man" I looked to him who kept smiling looking to that bitch, how the hell did HE know about that, well he did save me there, the bitch was so shocked and started glaring at the secretary but then smirked evilly again

"what about you Mr. Gulf have you ever been in a relationship?"

"no, never"

"are you by chance gay?"

"I don't know... I was never interested in anyone before especially girls with thick make up and keep wearing showy clothes and miniskirts" he said sounding innocent making the bitch squirm in her place pulling down her mini skirt, it's making me feel so good right now seeing her like this

"is it because your parents got a divorce and was abused by your father when you were young that you're not interested in dating?" I wish I could punch her in the face, she just love stepping on people's pain

"no matter what happened to him in the past doesn't matter now, he is an adult leading a good life, doing his best at work and that's what actually matters, there is no point in bringing up the past, what's important is what's happening now in the present and how we will create a brighter future" she started biting her lower lip getting nervous, she can't win and never will

"recently you started living together, is that true?"

"yes, is there a problem with that? I mean he is my personal secretary and a guy so living together is more convenient, it's not a bad thing right?"

"n-no, it actually shows how good your relationship as a secretary and boss, it's important to have a good relationship to do a better job" I faked a smile agreeing, good relationship my foot, I actually can't wait for him to move out and resign.

With a few other typical questions about work the interview ended, that bitch ran toward her room looking so furious, I almost could see smoke out of her head, I barely could held my chuckle making my way out, back in my office

"find out where did that evil witch got her information from, it will be troublesome if she find out more" I said looking serious, I can't have her find about my uncle

"I think I already know, once I'm sure I'll tell you"

"good, oh... by the way, don't suddenly turn gay while living with me"

"why would I turn gay for an ugly creature like you, so disgusting"

"you are surely blind"

"yes, blinded by hatred, doesn't that work out well for you?"

"it absolutely does, stay blind for the rest of your life" I saw him roll his eyes as he left, he did save me today during that interview, he is pretty useful and smart too but I can't help but hating him, I'm already glad that I don't see his face a lot at home but of course my grandfather had to ruin it

"grandfather? What are you doing here?!" I asked surprised when I got home, I saw the other in the kitchen cooking

"oh, I suddenly wanted to taste Gulf's food so I came and asked him to cook me something"

"you could have taken him to your house, why here?"

"stupid, we have to eat together, I also missed eating supper with my grandson"

"I'm not the only grandson you have"

"I was just eating dinner with your cousins yesterday so today is your turn, go wash up and come down, dinner will be ready soon right Gulf?" he asked making the other look at him and smile

"yes Mr. Chairman"

"no need for Mr. Chairman at home, just address me as grandfather"

"alright grandfather" I glared stomping upstairs. We sat around the table, the dumb face in front on me looking down while my grandfather was smiling

"wow Gulf, it's so delicious, you are really a great cook and you even made so many plates in a little time, you're very talented"

"thank you I'm glad it's to your liking"

"what are you waiting for Mew, start eating" I don't like eating homemade food but I have to bear it since grandfather is here, I slowly ate the first bite, what is this? It taste like... I looked up looking at the boy who looked back

"you noticed too Mew?" grandfather asked smiling warmly to me while the brown eyed boy was confused looking to both of us

"is there something wrong with the food?"

"oh no dear, it's really tasty, actually it taste the same as Mew's mother cooking, I don't know how you made it, but the food she used to make and this food is the same, it makes me feel so warm and nostalgic, thank you so much Gulf, I'm glad I came today" I looked down to my plate, my grandfather is right, this food taste the same as my mother's, I ate at many restaurant, I hired top chefs but the food always tasted the same however this food, this taste.... I unconsciously started eating again, I could feel their eyes on me but I just ignored them, it has been so many years since I enjoyed food.

"it seem you liked my cooking" he said mockingly after my grandfather left

"shut up stupid, it was edible and I was hungry" he sighed

"would it kill you to be honest? And stop calling me dumb and stupid it's becoming very childish between us, of course I won't call names either deal?"

"I still hate you"

"me too but let's be real adults here" I looked away ignoring him as he went upstairs, he needs to move out soon before I get addicted to his coo- what am I thinking? that won't ever happen because he is the person i hate the most right now, i ruffled  my hair in irritation getting to my room.
