~Dominik's POV~

"River? Is he okay?"

"He will be for a little while." River looked at me for a second. Than looked at the ground. "I'm going to check on Asa, he's going to wake any minute." River walked off.

I walked back into Julian's room. What I saw made me gasp. "River?!"

River, Asa, and Avery entered the room. When they saw what was happening to Julian they all paled.

"Ri-v-er?" Asa clung to Rivers arm for support.

"Oh my god..." Avery hid behind me as we watched Julian.

His skin was turning black and he was shaking. His teeth were sharp and his claws ripped holes in the bedspread.

"S-T-O-P!" Julian shouted, but it wasn't his voice.

"Julian...?" I walked up to him and reached out to touch him.

His eyes flung open, they were fully black. He reached up and dug his nails into my arm and stared at me.

I hissed in pain. "Julian!"

"My name isn't Julian." A wicked smile spread across his face. "It's Lucifer."

He roared out and let go of me than fell back against the bed.

Me and my brothers backed up against the wall as we watched what was happening to Julian. I don't know how but next thing we knew, the three brothers who had kidnapped Julian strolled in.

"Dominik! Keep his head down!" The eldest brother shouted at me.

"Why should I listen to you?! I don't even know you! And have no reason to trust you!"

"I'll tell you every detail after we save Julian!"

I groaned but went over to Julian and held his head down so he didn't bite anyway.

"Michael hold one leg down! River you do the same! And you two! Asa and Avery hold his arms down! Jamie help me!" The eldest brother lifted Julian's shirt to show us Julian's stomach. I almost puked. It looked all knotted and twisted.

"Carson! It's bad! How are we gonna fix this?!"

"The old fashioned way!" Carson laughed as he pulled out a knife. "Julian! I know you can hear me! This might hurt but I promise it's only for a second!"

"Wait-!" I barley got a chance to say anything before Carson drove the knife into Julian's stomach.

Julian screamed so loud I thought I went deaf. He struggled and shouted something in devil tongue.

Slowly Julian stopped moving and skin started going back to its natural pale white. Julian's breath was labored but he was mostly back to normal.

Carson pulled the knife out held it up for everyone to see. Now that I see it up close, it wasn't a knife, it used to be filled with some liquid.

"Holy water mixed with angel magic, these things are hard to come by." He wiped Julian's dark blood off of it. "You can let Julian go now." Everyone did, River jumped right in and started tending to Julian's wound.

"Julian's okay now right...?" I looked at the three brothers who now stood side by side. The eldest was Carson, Michael was the middle brother and Janie the youngest.

"Well... The demons still in his head, but at least Julian's life is t in danger anymore. Cause we still need him. I knew the demon was going to make an appearance today so I waited till I heard screams before coming in. I don't want poor Julian to die." Carson smirked and looked at Julian. "That was the only time will I help you. So don't expect us to be friends now. I still hate all four of you."

"Than get out of my house." Me, Asa and Avery stepped closer to Carson and his own brothers. "You came in uninvited and probably have plans to steal Julian away."

"We'll leave peacefully. But that doesn't mean we won't be back. Keep an eye out, we could attack at any moment." And with that, the brothers were out of the room and my house.

"Julian... Wake up..." River was shaking Julian's shoulder. "Julian..."

"Wh-at...?" His eyes opened slowly. I almost melted at the familiar red color to his eyes.

"Oh my god your alive." I sat next to him on the bed and ran my hands through his hair. Asa sat on the floor, completely worn out. Avery sat next to Asa as we looked at Julian in relief.

~Julian's POV~

"Ah. Please stay?" I begged River, Asa, and Avery.

"We're sorry Julian. But we are needed elsewhere. There's still a war going on out there. We'll try and visit, I promise." River looked at me sadly.

"We really like you kid." Avery hugged me.

"We will miss you." Asa said shyly.

"You all better be back than!" I gave them a huge smile.

After goodbye hugs and farewell words, River, Asa, and Avery left.

I turned to Dominik. "I like your brothers..."

"Yeah. They are good people. Vampires, but brothers."

"You and your brothers really made me leave my shell. Thank you." I hugged Dominik. He hugged me back and kissed the top of my head.

"You are very welcome on behalf if me and brothers than."

"One more thing..."

"What is it?"

I looked up at Dominik. "Can I take anther bath?"

He laughed. "Course."
