Chapter 27

The two fae looked at Sylvester with shock and a little bit of fear in their eyes, it was the first time that Addamak had seen Sylvester incredibly angry. His eyes were so dark they were practically black and he was looking extremely intimidating. "Sylvester, what happened?" Addamak tried to say calmly, but it was hard with such a steely glare being sent at the two of them.

"Not a single clue." Sylvester said flatly and confidently. His tone nearly caused Addamak to flinch, it didn't sound like the Sylvester he had gotten to know."Devin took the thing that you made-" He stared deep into Demi's eyes, looking for any trace of dishonesty."-and then they suddenly were no long-" Sylvester interrupted himself as his head tilted to the side and he started to walk away.

"What is it?" Demi was quickly shushed as Sylvester walked further and further away, he had gotten to the other side fo the house when he spotted the thing which was making the noise. Or rather the person who was making the noise. Demii and Addamak could hear some loud bangs , which made them want to hurry around the corner and see what was happening but Sylvester had returned before they could make any move.

Sylvester wasn't the only one who rounded the corner, in Sylvester's hand was the ear of the one and only Bryan. "Dude, get off me!" Bryan said as he winced in pain, he couldn't really do much since Sylvester's grip was rather harsh."and where am I ? I swear if Erin drugged me again-"

Sylvester entered Demi's house once again and threw Bryan on the settee, crossing his arms over his chest and looking at him darkly. Demi took notice of the sky turning slightly gray, her eyebrows raised in thought. Sylvester must be pretty powerful if he's able to do that without realizing it. "Uh-Sylvester? Whose this?"

"This." Sylvester nodded towards Bryan without looking away. "Is Bryan, he's a bully from school. We thought that he was the leader of the group before Alex revealed themselves to be Nero." He couldn't bring himself to be too angry towards Bryan, the poor fool seemed to be very confused and disorientated. Sylvester now knew that Nero was a dark fae, it made him feel rather bad for picking on Bryan. He knew that he shouldn't direct his anger towards the teenager, but due to the lack of other people who he could potentially blame in the room, he was.

"Wait what? Whose Nero? What on earth are you on about?" Bryan looked at the man in front of him with confusion and fear. If Bryanw as honest to himself, Sylvester had intimidated him since they'd first met. Sylvester may not have looked strong but he had a very care-free and experienced aura. He felt like a teacher to Bryan who knew more then him and would be there to snap at him if he did anything wrong.

"He's been controlled." Addamak said calmly as he came to join Sylvester somewhat hesitantly. He knew that Sylvester wouldn't lash out or anything, but Tyrell was no longer there . It seemed that Tyrell was similar to Sylvester's rock, Sylvester seemed lost without his companions. "He could know something."

"You can't just interrogate him! What if that's their plan to feed us false information in hopes we believe him?" Demi questioned with her eyes narrowed. It did seem like something the dark fae would do. It only increased the meaning behind her words earlier, there was no hope.

"Then we will find out." Sylvester said confidently as he looked towards Bryan. He didn't want ot use his powers and the two adults knew that. Even though Demi had known him a little while, she could tell that he had so much self-doubt and dislike it was a wonder how he ahd light in his eyes. Now that light was gone, replaced by a dark cloud. Sylvester grabbed one of the chairs which were brought in from the dining room. He sat on it so that his arms were leaning on the back of it and he had a kind yet almost sinister look on his face. "So, Bryan. What do you know?"

The two adults watched with cautious curiosity as the two teens interacted with each other. "Uh-you have to be more specific...simon right?" Bryan scratched his head in confusion as he tried to look anywhere but at Sylvester. Sylvester's gaze was intimidating, but he also wanted to know where the heck he was. "Uh...and where am I?...again."

"Sylvester." His voice was calm and light despite what it had sounded like only a few moments ago. He was trying his best to make Bryan a little calmer. "You're not too far away from the school anyway. We'd be happy to take you home in a few moments." Sylvester's eyes wandered around the place before a look of curiosity appeared on his face. "What did you mean about Erin earlier?"

"Uh-" Bryan closed his eyes and rubbed them with his fists as though he tried to wake himself up. "Well last time I hung out with ehr outside of school I woke up somewhere I didn't know...and uh i don't know this place." Bryan looked utterly clueless, it was a slight shock for Sylvester. The other times the two of them had met he was so confident and mean. "Do you know anything about that?" Bryan asked tensely, his voice becoming louder.

Sylvester tilted his head to the side and leaned back a little bit. "No. I don't have a clue why you keep going to sleep and waking up in strange places. Though I have an idea which I'm not telling you. Anyway. " Sylvester was trying to confuse the boy more, so that he would tell them of any other information he might have picked up. "We might be able to figure it out together and put a stop to it. So how long have you known the others?"

"A few years. i don't see how this is relevant." Bryan furrowed his eyebrows and ran a hand down his face"i've known Darius and Lawrence since we were three and the others i met when we came to Northwood." He felt like he had to continue speaking even though he didn't want to, he didn't like the feeling but Sylvester wasn't even using any of his compulsion at the moment.

"Alright, new friendship and relationship. Went pretty far but you've known them for five years and I can't talk. I knew him for about five weeks." Sylvester clapped his hands. "But the main question is why are you here? And why aren't my friends."
