"Holy crap," Mona breathed, clamping a hand over her mouth as the entire crowd edged forward in the seats. "They're gonna score!"

We were perched on our usual top spot on the bleachers, watching the soccer match with jittery nerves because if we lost this game we were out of the state championship. Riverdale had already lost their previous game because much to everybody's dismay, Coach refused to let Tyler leave the bench. Oh well, everybody knew the loss was because of his stupid to decision to leave our star striker out of the game.

However, this loss would end Riverdale High's soccer season and that couldn't happen - not when Tyler hadn't even played one game yet! And judging by the state of our players today, we were definitely going to lose at this rate. Coach Webber had benched him again and I could just about make out his golden hair amidst the other second strings.

What I failed to understand was why he wasn't playing? What kind of stupidity had thickened Coach Webber's pea sized brain?

"This is bad, real bad," Mona held her breath. "Ash! Look!"

I snapped out of my raging thoughts, tearing my eyes away from Tyler and following Eastview High's striker as he wove past our two defenders and hurtled the ball towards our goalkeeper. Our goalie jumped and I felt bad for Simon when the ball grazed his fingers and slammed into the back of the net. A deep groan filled the soccer pitch as the crowd screamed abuse at our team, urging them to step their game up and quit slacking.

"Shit!" I hissed as the other team celebrated their leading goal by throwing themselves at the ginger striker who scored.

Mona's entire face darkened as we watched Dylan stomp over to Blake, yelling at her boyfriend for failing to prevent Eastview's breakthrough. Now the scores were two to one and we were losing.

Ten minutes flew by and Riverdale failed to make up for the goal, struggling to keep tabs on the scurrying opponents who were fast, agile and surprising intelligent. Eastview knew that our defence was an abomination. We had two players manning our goalkeeper and four strikers who were failing to score. Our formation was weak and crumbling, letting the green shirts sieve through our red shirts like water: slick and swift. Coach Webber's roars could be heard from the sideline when the ginger striker got possession of the ball again.

Suddenly it was happening all too fast.

Dylan was hot on the ginger's trail, pumping power through his thighs as he intercepted the pass and kicked the ball wide. A sigh of relief swept through the crowd until another green shirt tackled him and I was certain Dylan's strangled cry echoed for miles and miles.

Crack.

A tangle of legs remained of the two player but the red shirt seemed to be pounding on the floor, roaring with agony as the green shirt slid off him and clambered to his feet. His tanned skin paled at the horror that lay before him and he retched, backing away as other players turned their attention to Dylan. His left leg was bent backward at the knee, forming a right angle that made numerous fans scream. Others jerked their head to side and gagged. The rest of us, including myself, shuddered and looked straight ahead, unable to turn away from the horror.

Mona screamed a great deal. By the time she clamped her mouth shut my ears were ringing.

"Oh my god that's disgusting. I can't breathe! Ash, ash, ash, I can't look!"

Her fingers shielded her eyes but I knew that she was still peeking, watching the medics sprint onto the field as Dylan thrashed about, crying from the immense pain he was in. The game was momentarily paused as the other players watched Dylan get carried off the pitch on a stretcher.

The green shirt offender was given a red card and booed off the pitch. Confusion seeped through the crowd as we watched Coach Webber point at Tyler and gesture at him to start warming up. Nobody noticed the evident surprise on my boyfriend's face but I nudged Mona and began to squeal with excitement.

"Look! Mona! Look at the benches! I think Coach is gonna let Ty play!"

Surprise fleeted across her features, and one by one, people started to notice when Coach Webber called Blake to come over to the sideline. The referee seemed exasperated that our team was taking so long to compose themselves after the loss of our captain but he didn't protest. Our coach handed Blake a neon yellow armband, deeming him the new captain for the rest of the game and he began to bark orders, patting Tyler's back before waving the two guys back onto the pitch.

A thick silence fell as the crowd watched Riverdale's star striker take his position to take the free kick. I broke it with a deafening hoot, squealing and clapping my hands over my head. People snapped out of their trance to glance back at me but I didn't care. I screamed as loud as I could, until my throat was sore and scratchier than sandpaper. Mona joined my cheers and slowly a few others joined in, but despite our hoots, an ominous silence still continued to stretch on.

As the referee held the whistle to his mouth, a blond head on the field looked up into the crowd, drawn by my manic, enthusiastic cheers. His sea green eyes locked onto mine and my chest inflated at the wavering nervousness that only I could pick out. To everybody else, Tyler looked calm and collected but I knew that his insides were probably tying tighter knots than mine.

"You can do this," I mouthed and I was surprised that he managed to catch it because he gave me a curt nod.

When the whistle blew, all was silent. Then Tyler's left boot slammed into the ball, and the field came to life.

Jonah chased after the ball and smoothly passed it backwards to Jordan who unsurprisingly lost possession of the ball when he buckled. Tyler was frozen after his first kick of the game, eyes trained to me before I frantically waved and snapped him out of the trance he was under. I gasped when the ball rolled right past him but luckily his head perked up and in a split second he sprinted after it and kicked it forward, weaving past Eastview's midfielders who were hot on his trail.

"Boy is he good!" Mona breathed and a few murmurs of awe rippled through the crowd when Tyler performed a neat trick - passing the ball between a midfielders open legs before chipping the ball over another opponent's head.

A bubble of pride inflated my chest, rising up until it came out in a long stream of squeals and screams.

"I second that! He is amazing!" I laughed gleefully, punching my fist in the air and conducting an insane dance, bursting with happiness before Mona smacked at me and hissed at me to focus.

Tyler was smart, really smart. I could practically see into his mind, watching the cogs twist and rotate as lightning thoughts shot through him when he approached the goal. There were four green shirts closing in on him and I could sense his panic when he glanced up. Suddenly the cogs clicked and his face lit up as he picked up speed, deceiving the players that he was going straight for the goal before he passed the ball to Jonah.

If Jonah had been more alert to Tyler's movements, he would have nicked us the goal we so desperately needed but he didn't. The ball went wide and their goalkeeper blew out a long breath of relief.

"That's the closest shot we've had since Jonah scored that first lucky goal and Tyler's only been on for a minute," Mona remarked, eyes wide and as the crowd cheered even though we missed an easy shot. "Mr Grumpy is on fire!"

I draped an arm around her shoulder and hugged her to my chest. Singing at the top of my voice, I swayed from side to side.

"So light 'em up, up, up. Light 'em up, up, up. Light 'em up, up, up," I threw both my arms in the air as Mona sang with me. "Tyler's on fire!"

Jonah's shoulders slumped down and he cowered away when Tyler's head snapped in his direction. To everybody's surprise, my boyfriend gave his teammate an affectionate pat on the back and spared Jonah a few words of encouragement before he jogged backwards, already marking the ginger green shirt as their goalkeeper kicked the ball into the our half of the pitch. My jaw clanged open and I couldn't believe how much soccer changed my boyfriend.

He could control his anger and put aside his hatred for Jonah, effectively gluing the bridge between them with a few words of encouragement. Unbelievable!

"Wow," Mona breathed beside me, clearly in awe because of Tyler's remarkable sportsmanship. "Dylan would've smacked Jonah upside the head for missing that open goal."

A giddy smile stretched across my lips.

"That's Tyler for you. His team's spirits are more important to him than winning."

"Remind me why he isn't our captain again?"

"Coach doesn't trust him to lead the team because after he quit the last time, the team lost their state championship." I replied, shrugging my shoulders despite the anger that laced my voice.

"Then Coach is stupid as well as blind. Tyler can lead the team with his pinky toe. He doesn't even need his famous left foot to score."

I laughed. "His toenail can curl the ball into the goal."

Mona wrinkled her nose and tore her eyes from the game.

"Why we're talking about Tyler's toenails?"

Keeping a somber expression, I replied in a serious voice. "Because he has really nice feet."

"Oh so it's not because he's a prodigy at playing soccer?"

"Nope," I giggled and she shot me a weird look.

"You have a secret foot fetish, don't you?"

My nose wrinkled with disgust and my stomach churned but I pushed all grim thoughts to the side and flashed a smirk.

"You know it girl," I flashed her a suggestive look and waggled my eyebrows. She scoffed when I dramatically flipped my curls over my shoulders.

"There's gross, and then there's you," Mona shook her head, ketchup bangs falling into her eyes to conceal her revulsion. "You bring a whole new definition to the word."

"You're just jealous my man has more talent in his toenail than you have in a strand of hair."

A swift smack upside the head silenced me and I didn't open my mouth for fear of losing more than a few brain cells if I irritated Mona even more. Turning my attention back to the field, I followed the ball as it was projected into the air by a green shirt. It arced in the air and a huddle of players shoved each other to get to it first and I laughed when I caught Tyler hovering behind the clump of bickering players.

"Genius. He's an absolute genius," Mona laughed along with me when he intercepted the ball and stole it before the other players even knew what was happening.

Riverdale continued to pummel through Eastview's defence but it wasn't enough when the green shirts got the possession of the balloon and sprinted to Blake and Jordan. Alarmed by the sudden counter-attack, our defenders shot forward to tackle the oncoming ginger striker but he lobbed it over their heads with ease and continued to sprint forward. Thankfully, Simon caught the ball when the striker took a shot at the goal.

With only fifteen minutes left until the end of the game, I was feeling slightly hopeless that we weren't going to make up the goal we needed and I noticed the frustration tighten our team's facial features. They were drenched in sweat and even Tyler's floppy hair was flat against his forehead from the exertion and effort he was putting in to score an equalising goal.

When there was only seven minutes left till the end of the game, a green shirt took a fall and pulled a muscle. As the medics rushed to take care of the problem, Tyler beckoned Blake over and began to talk at lightning speed, gesturing at the other team and flailing his arms about as he explained a new tactic to Blake. The temporary captain looked wary, exhausted and defeated at first but then his pale green eyes lit up and he nodded with understanding.

With a swift yell, Blake got his team to gather round, desperate to keep them in the loop of Tyler's plan before the game was put back into play. Coach Webber looked confused and stormed onto the pitch, irritated by the sudden team gathering. I watched the team argue but Blake seemed to agree with whatever plan Tyler proposed and yelled that he was the captain before forcing everybody into their new positions.

Coach seemed to reluctantly accept the new plan and stomped back to his post at the sidelines. The sudden change in formation startled the opposing team but as the game was put back in play, they had no idea what storm was brewing their way. Tyler's plan to increase the number of defenders by decreasing the number of strikers confused our players but eventually they adapted to their new roles and the other team struggled to get past our brick wall defence. Our team now had a formation of 3-5-2 compared to our previous 2-4-4.

Barely anybody seemed to understand what difference it would make but I knew that this wasn't a new idea. It was the exact formation the team had when Tyler used to be captain and it worked wonders for our team. He now had the chance to steal the ball and push it forward to their side of the pitch, rapidly approaching the scoreline with enough speed to whiz past any of his opponents.

Suddenly the crowd were on edge, inching forward in their seats to see Tyler's one-on-one encounter with Eastview's goalkeeper. With the flick of his left boot, the ball hurtled into the back of the net and suddenly everybody was on their feet, screaming at the top of their lungs.

"Oh my god!" Mona breathed beside me, astonished as she snapped her head towards me. "Did you see that? Holy shit! Did you see that juju? That was black magic! Tyler barely touched the ball and it just...it just went straight in...I can't believe it! We scored!"

I watched our team reluctantly nod at our champion, too awkward to jump on his but Blake didn't hold back from slamming into Tyler and tackling him onto the floor. He landed a kiss right on my boyfriend's mouth and threw his head back to howl with happiness. The two hooted at the top of their lungs as the crowd continued to cheer. I screamed until my throat was sore and kept going until my voice dwindled and ran out.

Blake scrambled to his feet and helped Tyler up and the two guys put their game faces back on as the referee yelled at them to return to their positions. The scores were now equal. We had a chance at continuing into the state championship if we scored one more to put us in the lead.

The entire school began to stomp on the bleachers, emitting a ruckus that drowned out any sound but Riverdale's enthusiastic cheers. I stood on the tip of my toes when they began to obscure my vision of my flushed boyfriend. He was giddy with happiness and it showed. His face glowed, his eyes shone and he hopped up and down on the spot, shaking his wrists to ease his jitteriness.

Seconds before the final whistle, Tyler stole the ball from a midfielder after he hesitated and I felt bad for the green shirt when his teammates yelled at him to run after Tyler.

But he was too late.

The ball grazed their goalkeeper's fingertips and it slammed against the crossbar before it deflected and went into the goal. Screams, whistles and a Mexican wave rippled through the crowd and I threw my arms around Mona, squeezing the life out of her as I screamed hysterically.

"He did it! He did it! He did it!" I sang as she cupped her hands and let out a deafening whistle.

We jumped up and down with the crowd like we were dancing in sync to a pumping bass in a club. I popped two fingers into my mouth and let loose a shrill whistle. Mona jumped out of my arms and hurried down the bleachers, barging people out of the way as she elbowed her way onto the field.

The red shirts were huddled in a circle and they lifted Blake, Tyler and Jonah up as if they were seated on thrones, parading them around the soccer pitch as everybody went crazy. When the guys were lowered down, a familiar redhead shoved everybody out of the way and tackled her boyfriend to the ground, taking mine down with her. I laughed when Tyler sat up, dazed by his sudden fall before his face scrunched up at the sight of Mona and Blake making out on the grass beside him.

Embarrassment forced me to stay rooted to my spot. I didn't want to draw attention to myself and I really wanted Tyler to drink in his well deserved glory and savour it. I wanted him to capture the moment, store it and remember it for the rest of his life.

Today, he got the biggest part of his old life back. Taylor was never going to come back but his glorious position on the team as our legendary striker was back. And I knew just how much this all meant to him.

More people rushed onto the pitch, mostly the girlfriends of our teams and I smiled when Simon's baby sister waddled onto the grass. He picked her up and twirled her in circles as his step dad pulled him into a massive embrace. My chest clenched at the fatherly love and I looked away, focusing on Tyler's daze grin as he turned around in circles, seemingly searching for someone.

Sea green eyes flickered around the stands, first startled and then wide eyed as he drank in the sight of people hooting and screaming for him. His eyes found mine and we stared at each other for a long moment before I lifted my hands and formed a love-heart. A goofy grin tugged his lips up and his eyes blazed with an emotion so immense and intense that my heart picked up speed. He mouthed three words that I couldn't read because of my limited eyesight but I melted when he lifted his hands up and formed a love-heart.

Dozens and dozens of people turned around, watching the encounter between Tyler and I with affectionate smiles. A few rowdy juniors yelled two words and the crowd slowly picked up the chant.

"Kiss her! Kiss her! Kiss her!"

Tyler seemed taken aback but his cocky persona kicked in and he pointed his finger at me, beckoning me to get my ass down and onto the field. I shook my head, curls smacking my cheek in the process.

"No way! No freaking way!" I croaked with my hoarse voice, waving my arms and shooing him away as he put his hands on his hips and gave me a stern look.

I giggled at how ridiculously sexy he looked, tapping one foot impatiently as he waited for me to make a move. Clad in his sweat drenched kit, I knew I wasn't the only leering at his sweaty glory.

"Kiss her! Kiss her! Kiss her!"

When it became evident that I was making no attempt to move, Tyler shrugged his shoulders at the crowd. Relieved, I turned away until loud cheers erupted. I snapped my head back to my boyfriend and almost screamed when he began to wade his way through the bleachers, hopping past drooling freshmens and Michelle's gawking clique. A minute later and sea green eyes were inches from mine, sparkling with amusement, affection and admiration.

"Victory kiss?" He asked, lifting a hand to caress my cheek as I shook my head, blushing that there were so many people watching us.

"No freaking way, there are hundreds of people watching us!"

He chuckled and grabbed my shirt by the collar.

"Too bad Ash."

Suddenly I was yanked forward and he crashed his mouth against mine. I protested, meekly pushing his chest until the slow movement of his warm lips weakened my resolve and I was a goner. My limp hands slid around his neck, disappearing into his sweaty hair as he smiled into my lips. The thunderous applause around us made me tense in Tyler's arms until he clasped my cheeks to hold me in place.

"Thank you for making me go through with this," He murmured into my mouth, sliding an arm around my waist as my fingers glided through his flat, floppy hair. "This win is yours. Those two goals were for you and all of this..." He waved at the cheering fans. "All of this is because you believed in me."

"We won because you finally realised your capabilities," I replied breathlessly, relishing the scorching heat of his breath on my aching lips. "I've always believed in you. We only won because, today, you finally believed in yourself and I am so proud of you Tyler. I'm so fucking proud of you. I can practically hear Taylor cheering for you in heaven like a lunatic on crack."

Tyler smiled into our kiss and an echoing laugh leapt from him because he couldn't move his lips in sync. He was that happy.

I chuckled at his lack of concentration.

"Go shower and change, you smell like a skunk."

Tyler's booming laughter became louder and I squealed when he crushed me to his chest, forcing me to inhale his musky sweat and lemon aftershave. When I managed to peel myself off his chest, I was met with his mischievous, and before I knew it, Tyler was shirtless and I was wearing his red jersey on top of his game jersey.

"Tyler!" I squealed with a giggle because he didn't seem the least bit affected by the swooning girls.

Maybe it was because he had his back to them and his attention was solely focused on me.

"Let's go join the celebration munchkin."

I didn't even have time to blink let alone think. Suddenly, he crouched and turned his back to me and I stared dumbly at his rippling muscles.

"Hop on Ash."

"You've got to kidding me!"

Tyler shot me a glance over his shoulders. "Hop on or I will carry you upside down and won't save you if your shirt rides down."

"Okay, okay, okay," I hoisted myself onto his back and slid my arms around his neck. "I'm not wearing a bra so there's no way I'm risking that!"

He tensed and craned his neck to steal a look at my sly smirk before gulping nervously.

"For real?"

I smacked his head and laughed hysterically. "Course not! What kind of girl do you take me for?"

"Michelle."

This time I tensed. "For real?"

"Course not!" He mimicked me with a high pitched squeal. "What kind of guy do you take me for?"

"Jonah."

Despite the roaring cheers that still echoed throughout the bleachers, a moment silence passed between us before we dissolved into hysterics. He began to wade his way down the bleachers as I leaned forward and rested my chin on his shoulder. At one point he stopped and turned his head to plant a kiss on my cheek and a series of aww's followed us.

The crowd continued to stamp their feet and chant his name as they parted for him like the sea Mose's walked through. I was met with jealous stares and occasional warm smiles that made my cheeks burn even brighter so I nuzzled my face into Tyler's neck until he hopped off the last bleacher and began to jog back to the guys.

When I caught sight of our captain stuck in a lip lock, I slipped off Tyler's back and hurtled towards my friends, launching myself on top of them just as they rolled over. Mona crawled out from under my weight but Blake was trapped and chuckled when he realised I was the person pinning him to ground. With ease, he peeled me off his body and stood up. He effortlessly hoisted me up onto my feet so that I could hug him properly.

"You're the reason for our win tonight," He breathed into my hair and I pulled back with a small frown.

"Tyler said the same thing just now."

Blake read my disbelief and shook his head before laughing lightly.

"You really don't get it, do you?" His pale green eyes lit up, burning brightly until I could make out the leaf green ridges that darkened the liquid, mint green expanse. "Without Tyler we would have lost this game tonight and we would've been out of the state championship. You convinced him to pick up a ball and try out for the team again. He's only here because you made him. And trust me when I say this, we owe every future game to you Ash. You are seriously beyond amazing and I have no idea how you get through to him when nobody else can."

Overwhelmed, I blinked back tears and threw myself into his arms again.

"T-Thanks," I croaked, gulping fresh air to clear my tight airways. "All I did was force him to do is believe that he was worth so much more than being a dangerous douchebag with the dead twin."

We pulled back and Blake held me at arm's length, grinning at me like I just discovered the existence of fire in a cold, dark world.

"Tyler really is something special," He stared straight ahead, locking eyes with his best buddy who poked his tongue out at the both of us.

I laughed and kissed two fingers before planting them on my ass. Tyler waggled his eyebrows in response and Blake burst out laughing.

"Tyler's a special kind of special," I guffawed, turning my back to my boyfriend after he licked his forefingers and circled his bare nipples.

Blake was struggling to breathe and decided to follow my example, turning his back to Tyler's perverted acts until we both managed to put a lid on our hysterical laugh.

"Don't think I've forgotten that you laid a kiss on him," I elbowed Blake in the ribs and he flashed me a suggestive grin.

"Jealous, are we?" He puckered his lips and leaned towards me. "Are you upset you're not getting any of my love?"

I jumped away from his outstretched arms and backed away when Blake lunged for me. He tackled me to the ground and slobbered open mouth kisses all over my forehead until I shot an arm out to cup his balls.

"You know how this goes, right?" I threatened him as he nodded quickly and rolled off me.

I managed to catch Mona's eye when I swiped an arm over my drool covered forehead. She grinned at me and shot me a thumbs up and I flipped her off. Eventually I left Blake to confer with Coach about the highlights of the game and Dylan's situation. As a group of red shirts led by Tyler congratulated the green shirts, Jonah seemed to end up beside me and I tensed before I recognised the apologetic expression he always wore on his face around me. With an awkward cough, he tried to hurry away from me but I clamped my hands around his wrist and forced him to meet my eyes.

"That was good goal you scored at the start of the game," I smiled and he seemed taken aback that I was capable of sparing him any words beside curses and threats to cut off his manhood.

"Uh...thanks," He scratched the back of his neck and his bland blue eyes ran along the bleachers. "But Tyler was definitely the Man of the Match tonight."

I nodded in agreement as we strolled along the sidelines, following the path of the white lines that marked the edge of the pitch.

"Don't be so hard on yourself," I smiled. "Your first goal shook the other team."

"Yeah, then they scored two goals after that and snapped Dylan's leg completely. Our captain is out for the rest of the season now."

My eyes widened. "Dylan's done?"

Jonah nodded, although he didn't seem as disappointed as I expected. I guess the team weren't really that content with their captain since he was scarily hot-tempered, bossy and never asked the other players for their opinions on how to man the team. Actually it was sort of like a dictatorship. Maybe his injury was just a calling that had finally been answered.

As I picked at all of Dylan's faults, I noticed Jonah's mouth open and close repeatedly, working soundlessly as he tried to say something that just wasn't coming out.

"I'm sorry," He blurted out after I stopped still, ready to ask him if he was okay. "I know it's a bit late after all the shit I did to piss you off or all the things I said to get into your pants but I just want you to know I'm sorry."

Mindblown and startled, I was rendered speechless for a good minute before I managed to come to terms with his apology.

"Sorry doesn't really cut the shit you tried with me Jonah."

His face fell and for a moment I felt bad until I rememberd the state he left me in at his party months ago.

"I know but," Jonah looked everywhere but my eyes and I found myself frowning. "I actually liked you. I know I had a shit way of showing it but you just weren't having any of it so I tried harder. Maybe a bit too hard."

"By pouring beer all over me? In front of everyone?"

He pursed his lips and pushed back stray locks that fell from his quiff.

"I had a lot to drink after the opening game and..." He sighed and finally met my gaze. "Look, I'm sorry about that but I don't know what else to say to you. I just need to get this off my chest Ashley."

I rolled his apology around in my mouth, wondering if I had it in me to forgive him for turning me into a snivelling wreck that night. But then again, if Tyler could find it in his heart to put aside his differences with this guy then I could too.

"It's cool," I mustered a small smile. "I'm sorry about what Tyler did to you. I had no idea he was going to go all apeshit on you."

"No worries, I had it long and coming."

Blue eyes wavered as they looked over my shoulder. I followed his gaze and wasn't surprised to find sea green eyes glaring back, hard with scrutiny. I shook my head when Tyler blinked his eyes, wordlessly asking if I wanted him to swoop in and kick Jonah's ass for talking to me. With a trusting smile, he focused back to the conversation he was having with the ginger striker from Eastview High but his gaze kept flickering back to us.

I turned back to Jonah and itched my hairline before mustering another small, polite smile.

"I'll see you in class tomorrow, yeah?"

He nodded in reply and loped off to the changing rooms. I couldn't help but smile and meet the sea green eyes which found mine in the midst of red shirts and green shirts. A few other players followed Jonah's lead and soon enough, the only people remaining on the pitch were my friends and Tyler.

"You guys up for Michelle's party tonight?"

I focused on Blake, thinking his words over inside my head and then glanced at Tyler, waiting for his verdict before making mine. He slid his gaze to me and we wore the same expression before I chuckled and shook my head.

"No we're cool. Aren't you exhausted? That match was ninety minutes long and you still have more energy to get wasted?" I asked Blake and he grinned, pulling Mona to his chest as I shied away from their 'gooey eyes' moment.

"Everybody's gonna be there so we're definitely going," She chirped happily, sliding an arm so that it hooked around Blake's elbow. "Don't tell me you're going to mope around your room doing fuck all."

Even after Jonah's apology, I wasn't really in the mood to hang out with a bunch of drunks and dance to deafening music. I just wanted to curl up in Tyler's arms, watch a movie and fall asleep in his bed.

"Unlike you party animals, I actually want to turn up to school tomorrow morning, sober and alert, not off my face in tonight's clothes."

Mona scoffed and kissed her boyfriend before shooing him away towards the changing rooms. She gave me a brief hug and teasingly flipped off Tyler before hurrying off to her car to get ready for the party. I rolled my eyes and watched her red hair disappear into the mounds of people rushing to leave the school and hurry home to get ready for the party. Now that the excitement of the game was wearing off, the next big thing was Michelle's party but judging from the look on Tyler's face, I was certain he wasn't interested in going either.

"My place tonight?" He whispered in my ear and I shuddered at the proximity between us.

"Depends what you've got planned," I turned my body around so that we were facing each other. "You know what a busy schedule I have. You'll have to book me a year in advance to spend the night laying beside my hot ass."

He arched an eyebrow and his eyes twinkled.

"Adventure Time, pizza and cuddles in my puny arms?"

My eyes drank in the sight of his incredibly toned chest, sculpted abs and muscular arms.

"Did you say puny arms?" I poked his chest before dragging my finger down to the waistband of his red shorts.

With a light shiver, he gulped slowly and nodded, not trusting him to speak and I laughed because I was capable of leaving him hot and bothered the way he always did to me.

"Count me in," I chuckled teasingly, playfully shoving him towards the changing room before flashing him a suggestive wink.

[A/N: N'awww, Jonah liked Ashley all along :') So what did you think about this chapter? Finally a happy chapter with no Tashley drama - no secrets, no bullshit and no more lies.

I wanna know more about you guys so comment your age and the genre of music you love listen to. I'll start: I love melodic hardcore bands - I think it's obvious I had a scene phase when I was 13 - (I'm seeing Being As An Ocean live on Wednesday eeeeeeeek!) but my life and my ultimate love is Taylor Swift. I paid a fortune to see her in February and it was the greatest day of my life.

I was also supposed to go on the London Pride march today but slept in because I had a late night yesterday ugh.
