It had been weeks since that letter came. It had been a month since the head of the Fullbuster family had walked out for what seemed to be a job. Brushing his dark hair to the side, Ur began to re-read his father's last letter.

To Juvia and company,

Juvia, sorry that I left unexpectedly but, I think I finally found something on that topic that might finally lead to where the book might be located. I might not be back for awhile so, make sure to keep down the fort and at the guild. Boys, don't trouble your mother. And Juvia, don't get so stressed that you flood the house again. (I don't think we can afford another incident like that...) I'll be home as soon as I can. Love you all.

Ur slumped into his chair.

"Dad..."

Fernandez Residence

"MOM!!!"

Erza groaned in her sleep as her blue-haired husband sat up.

"I'll go check on him..." she drowsily tried to get up but, Jellal pulled her back into bed.

"I'll go. You stay here." he kissed her cheek as he gets up to go check the twins' room.

The younger of the bluenettes, Mystogan, was sobbing again from another nightmare.

"Mystogan..." Jellal sighed, picking up the small boy.

"D-Daddy, it was really bad!" The little boy cries onto his father's shoulder.

"The nightmares are getting worse?"

"I saw Uncle Gray this time! But, he was really mean and scary and covered with all this black stuff! A-And Uncle Natsu was even scarier!"

Jellal took a moment to think. Natsu and Gray... Evil?

Porulysica's Place in the woods

"Porulysica-san!" The blonde quickly opens the door.

"What is it that you want and don't tell me it's because someone's pregnant again!" The old pink-haired woman shouts at the blonde.

"It's Natsu! That medicine you gave him isn't working!" Lucy, who was carrying her pink-haired husband on her back, laid him on a bed.

Porulysica examines him, "How much worse has his condition gotten? I was sure that I completely removed that benign magic tumor."

Lucy twists her ring around her finger, "It was just the heartburns before but, now he was coughing up blood this morning."

Poryulisca seemed slightly shocked and starts to thoroughly investigate the dragon slayer's condition.

The wizard guild, Fairy Tail

"Come on, Nashi! Layla is not even one yet. How could she be a dragon slayer?" Igneel, Nashi's blonde twin, asks as he held their younger sister, the orange-haired Layla.

"You're not a dragon slayer," Nashi answers, grabbing the set of keys that Igneel had in his pockets.

"You have Mama's magic." Nashi looks at the intricate bronze keys that her brother had received.

"Mama said that the bronze ones are the offer-spring of the gold keys. Mama has ten of them!" Igneel was always enthusiastic when it came to gate keys.

"You and your keys..." Nashi sighs, seeing the Fullbuster gang arrive inside the guild.

"You take the baby!" Nashi handed Layla to Igneel and ran off to see the triplets.

"Ohayo, Silver-kun, Blake-kun, Ur-chan!" Nashi greets them.

"Ohayo, Nashi-san." Silver greets back.

"Ohayo, Nashi-chan!" Blake smiles.

"Don't call me that, stupid firebrain!" Ur shouts.

"Don't call me stupid, stupid!" Nashi shouts back at the middle twin.

Ur growls before running into Grandpa Makarov's office with a paper in his hand.

"He seems grumpier than usual..." Rosemary notices the behavior of the middle Fullbuster triplet.

"It's Dad again. He left again." Silver says, looking down at the floor.

"Uncle Gray left again? Did he leave a note or something?" Nashi asks, looking worriedly at the middle twin sitting alone.

"Papa's not going to be home for awhile again. Ur-nii said so." Blake answers.

Nashi looks down for a second but, she pulls a bright smile. No rival of hers was going to be sad on her watch. She skipped over to the middle twin rereading the piece of paper. With a quick snatch, she stole the paper from his hands, receiving a shout from the raven-haired boy.

It was then when Nashi summoned all of her strength possible and the paper began to burn. And she ate it.

"NASHI!!!", Ur shouts loudly as she swallowed, "YOU IDIOT!!! I WAS-"

"Stop being mopey! If Uncle Gray said he's gonna come back, he's coming back! It's what family do! They always come back no matter what!" Nashi shouts back, causing Ur to silence himself in awe.

Did the pinkette just own him?

"No more mopey Ur-chan!" she grabbed his hand, stifling a blush out of him.

"W-Wha-What are you doing?" he asks, ignoring the fact that she called him by the nickname he hates.

"I'm not going to let you be mopey anymore!" she shouts again, flicking his forehead with her other hand.

It was then when suddenly, the clouds outside began to crowd the sky and let the water fall to the ground.

"It's raining..." Blake says as the kids crowded by the window.

The thunder rumbled, having a scaredy-cat Igneel jump into Metalicana's arms. And she dropped him a second later.

The doors of the guild burst open, revealing a drenched Laxus carrying an injured and bleeding Makarov.

"Grandpa Makarov...?" Rosemary gasped.

"Daddy!" Mina shouts, running over with Mirajane to help him.

"Oi! Set up something, quick! Gramps needs immediate attention!" Laxus shouts as him and Mira get Makarov into the infirmary as quick as they could.

For some reason, Nashi felt fire boil in her stomach.

Something bad is going to happen.

And it was going to happen sooner than anyone would ever expect.
