"I hope Duri's okay," Hana frowned as he chewed on a baguette. 

"It's Duri, I'm sure he's fine," Nagachika Hideyoshi reassured his half-brother, while Fueguchi Hinami nodded, "He's not stupid! He'll get out of it no matter what it is!" 

"I get it, but you know he hasn't been the same since the Dr M fight," he admitted. "I'm just worried that he will relive the trauma. I wish we could have helped..." 

"We all wish for that, but we still try to be there for him, remember?" Semo reminded his older brother, and Naegi smiled, "Yeah, so don't worry about it. Fuyuhiko-nii looks scary but he's really nice." 

"Yeah," Hana smiled as well while Knight held his hand slightly, saying, "Don't worry it'll all work out-" 

Boom!

Everyone's head swiveled over to see the front gate broken down and a voice called out, "Greetings! I assume this is the ghoul gathering?" 

"Who's asking?!" Hana yelled while calling out X as Semo did the same with his Onishizukumo, Z. 

"Ah, so you're SRS members too?" a brown-haired male slid down from the Daioudou, a smug smirk on his face as he said, "Wow, to think that there were more of them. No wonder the Kuzuryuu clan wanted to protect this meeting so much." 

Hearing this, Hana felt doubt creeping up his stomach, but he had to trust his brother, so he asked, "What about it!?"

"Oh nothing much!~" the older male hopped off the Daioudou with the others before smiling evilly as he said, "Sadly, they will not arrive here in time, because we're going to wreck this party, and spread MAYHEM and DESTRUCTION to ALL REGIONS IN THE WORLD!"

"Let's go, Gulus! Wreak havoc and destroy everything!" the teen laughed while throwing a Monster Ball, summoning a Single Strike Wulaosu with glowing red eyes that resembled that of a ghoul's...

Hana felt shivers go down his spine at this. The look in his eyes... it scared him a lot. Really, it did. Was that how most people felt when looking at ghouls? Gosh, he was glad that he could hide the trademark ghoul eye most of the time. 

"With pleasure Hiro," the Wulaosu smirked, and the newly known Hiro then yelled, "Aerial Ace on the Kairiky, then Wicked Blow on the Onishizukumo!" 

Thinking quickly, Semo told Z, "Wide Guard!" 

That was a good move as the Galarian Legendary Pokemon didn't cause that much damage on them both, but Hiro then shouted, "Leer, Gulus!" 

The two Pokemon flinched at it, and he then ordered, "Get closer and use Aerial Ace twice!" 

"Ah!" Gulus grinned maniacally while rushing in, and the two didn't have time to react to the attacks, critical hits to both as he stood over them, a crazy laugh exploding from him that brought fear full circle into Hana's mind. "This is pathetic! You're such weaklings!" 

"You couldn't even protect a goldfish!" one of the others snorted, and Hana growled at his words. Without thinking and desperate, he then yelled back, "Well, your hair is ridiculous, you know!?" 

That seemed to give them pause, and his friends actually gave him the "What the heck are you thinking?" look, which kinda made him laugh nervously.

However, it did seem to amuse Hiro, "He's not wrong you know." 

"E-EXCUSE ME?!" 

"BAHAHHAHAHAHA!" another one snorted while his Lizardon guffawed, and even the others seemed to be laughing at this display, including Gulus, who was actively holding his stomach.

Well... that worked somehow? Hana wasn't sure how to feel about it, and neither did the rest, but it was a good chance to switch out their Pokemon. 

"Come on out, Ulgamoth!" Hinami called out her partner while Hideyoshi did the same with his   Drapult, while Hana and Semo switched out their Pokemon for their Golugh and Garagara respectively. Urgh, why did Ken have something to do last minute!? He couldn't be here to help them. 

But it was fine. They could make do with what they could right now. Hopefully.

"Let's go! Daidarabocchi, Focus Punch!" 

"Ulgamoth, Fire Spin!" 

"Garagara, Bonemerang!" 

"Drapult, Dragon Breath!"

"Gulus, quick, Reversal!" Hiro quickly countered. 

"Ah!" Gulus swung a fist at Daidarabocchi before dodging the other attacks as he landed on the ground. 

"Agh, Golugh is immune to Fighting-type moves," Hiro cursed under his breath. "What should we do what should we do-"

"Hiro, let's take them out all at once! Don't panic on me now!" Gulus looked back at him, causing him to freeze up, but soon his eyes narrowed, "Right, sorry, Gulus! Aerial Ace on all four  of them! Don't give them time to breathe! Outspeed them!" 

"You got it!" Gulus grinned and rushed into the battle. 

Hana couldn't believe how fast this guy was... 

So... so similar to a ghoul's speed. They couldn't do anything as he attacked their Pokemon like crazy.

But then, it hit him as he remembered what they had uncovered in Galar; a research facility in Macro Cosmos...

Was he... was he a hybrid made by the lab the team had raided that one time? Of a Ghoul and a Pokemon? 

Suddenly he couldn't help but feel sicker than before. He couldn't make himself attack Gulus anymore, not after that realisation and the fear for his brother. He had basically let Duri go on a suicide mission-

"Arcleon, use Air Slash!" 

"Got it!" 

Huh, wait, Arcleon? Wasn't that Dan's Pokemon? But Dan was with-

"OPPA!" 

His eyes widened as he turned to see Duri rushing his way, followed by Fuyuhiko and the others while Hiro gaped, "How did you get here so fast!?" 

"We had a tiny bit of help!" Fic said while a Fuudin floated beside Nagito as the white-haired male grinned, "We're here now, though, so let's finish this battle, Team Alpha!" 

"Oppa, get the civilians out of here!" Duri said. "We'll take care of them!" 

Hana could only stare at him, relief flooding and overriding everything else. His brother... was alright. 

"O-Oppa?" Duri blinked as he felt his brother hug him, tears streaming down his cheeks. "Are you okay?" 

Hana soon let go, wiping his tears with a smile, "Y-Yeah! I-I'll go evacuate everyone! D-Don't die on me okay, Duri?" 

Duri's eyes widened, but a silent conversation brought a smile onto his face as well. He was over the fear of battling now, wasn't he? Hana couldn't be more proud as Duri said, "You got it!" 

Hana grinned back before the four left the group to face off against Team Alpha. 

It was time to end this nonsense. They had to win this battle no matter what. 

If they got away now, this would only continue, and more people would get hurt. 

So this was it, the final battle.

"Time to pull out the big guns! Everyone, let's Intypegrate!" Dan yelled. 

"Yeah!" the AO got their Monster Balls out and threw them, causing them to fuse temporarily as the trainers then yelled, "Intypegration!" 

"Alright, let's take them down, guys!" Fuyuhiko shouted. 

Everyone shared a nod before Gulus scoffed, "You already lost once. Why try again?"

"That was because we were not in sync, but this time, we WILL defeat you!" Fuyuhiko declared. 

"Yeah! Because we're not about to lose to you! We're going to make you see the light, even if we have to go hard to do so!" Duri agreed. "You deserve better than this! All of you do and we're not about to let you suffer alone in the dark!" 

"H-Huh?" Hiro actually stopped, eyes widening while Koutarou scoffed, "What do you mean by that?!" 

"We know of what happened, and we... we're so sorry about what happened to you in your past. Both of you," Fuyuhiko said. 

"E-Excuse me?" Gulus seemed surprised for once. 

"We figured it out on the way here; why you're so fast compared to normal Wulaosus, and we realised... You're one of the Ghoul-Pokemon hybrids from Macro Cosmos aren't you?" Duri asked. 

The battlefield went quiet, and even Haavik's troupe looked stunned by this turn of events as they turned to Gulus. 

"Y-You were a what?" Koutarou gaped. 

"Your speed and quick healing from the battles Dan's had with you," Duri said. "But what really gave it away was your eyes. I... I have them too, so I know what they look like." 

"S-Shut up!" Gulus snarled. "It doesn't matter! I WILL MAKE EVERYONE PAY! THE WORLD'S BROKEN ANYWAY!" 

"You know more than anyone that isn't true!" Fuyuhiko argued. "Whether you want to admit it or not, you enjoy the small things in life!" 

"I don't!" 

"We're not that different, Gulus. All of us here have made mistakes," Duri pleaded to him. "But we can all change and learn from them. It all comes down to your desire to see a better you, your will, your strength, your determination." 

"You're not that dumb, Hiro, you have a high IQ, so you know that this is wrong," Fuyuhiko added. 

"I-I..." Hiro actually looked hesitant.

"SHUT UP! YOU'RE ALL WRONG! YOU DON'T KNOW A THING! THE WORLD NEEDS TO BE DESTROYED AND MADE A DESOLATE RUIN!" Gulus screamed. 

"The world is a mess, sure, but it's not all that bad," Fuyuhiko persisted as he grabbed Duri's hand. "As long as we hold onto the people we love and care for, as long as we continue to focus on the good things, we can win against the darkness!" 

"We will make you see the truth so just you wait!" Duri agreed. 

"WE'RE NOT LOSING HERE! WE WILL TAKE YOU DOWN AND THAT IS A PROMISE!" They yelled at the same time, power, determination, hope and love emanating from their shouts.

Just then, Duri felt Y's Monster Ball glow while Fuyuhiko took out Natsuri's ball which was glowing red. 

Lightning and Fighting...

A hexagonal space that was split between Yellow and Red then appeared in front of them, and remembering what the AO had done, the two shared a glance before they nodded, throwing the Monster Balls at the same time, "INTYPEGRATION!"
