Pond Life

Hello!

My god it has been a while since I've posted a chapter... Oops I've been busy with life, had some rocky time but I'm all good now :) excited to get back to the Stone, Hollie and actually write for the Protector XD

First lets get back to the OC that started this long almost 4 year journey that's no where near finished. I've missed these two so much and I can't wait for everyone to see what I have planned.

Time for the short chaper Pond Life!

-----

The Stone shook her head fondly at her husband who was currently leaning against the console, goggles around his neck from where he had been working on the TARDIS with Jenny. The Time Lord had a smudge of something that looked like oil on his white shirt much to the Stones annoyance.

"Hello, Ponds!" He cheered only to wince slightly when there was no reply before he realised he wasn't actually talking to them and on the answer machine. "Checking in. How are you? There's really not much to report from us. Jennys started to learn how to fix the console which is actually more important and needs to be done more regularly than you might think." He smiled at the thought. "The Stone and I surfed the fire falls of Florinall Nine. Trust me she wasn't too happy and it really wasn't deliberately, just the easiest way out."

The Time Lady shook her head before grabbing the phone from the Doctor. "After the Doctor decided to annoy a bunch of Sontarians we met Mata Hari in a Paris hotel room, it wasn't our plan, I really wanted to go see Jeanne-Antoinette Possion better known Madame de Pompadour who is better known as Reinette to her friends and yes the Doctor and I are her friends, she's lovely, I think you two would love her but we just got the wrong place, wrong time, wrong everything really. You see we told Jenny about our adventure with one of the most accomplished women who ever lived and she wanted to meet her..."

"Yeah well Mata Hari didn't like you very much." He raised an eyebrow at her.

"Didn't like Jenny either. I don't blame her though, Jenny really didn't like it when that woman dropped the cloth she had on for some reason in front of her father who may I add is married."

"Yes well." The Doctor opened his mouth for a second. "She doesn't have a match against you dear. "

The Stone hummed. "She better not."

Jenny giggled and walked into the console room, overhearing her parents discussion. "Dad decided to go and 'lay down some backing vocals' she laughed into the phone she took from the Doctor. "You should have seen it Amy, it was hilarious."

The Doctor huffed and took the phone back. "Can you two stop stealing the phone from me? I was the one on the phone, not you two."

The Stone laughed and kissed her husband's cheek. "Sorry, sweetheart."

The Doctor smiled and gave her a quick kiss. "All is forgiven."

"Good."

"You were on the phone dad." Jenny reminded.

"Oh yeah!" He laughed. "We should be with you two any day now, quite literally. The Helmic regulator's playing up and we can't get the temporal steering right."

"Umm mum, dad..." Jenny's eyes widened. "That doesn't look right."

"Oh dear,", the Doctor winced. "We appear to have collided with ancient Greece. Ah!" He cried out quickly ending the call.

---

The Stone shook her head at her husband as the Doctor darted out of the box after they landed, running down the corridor and straight into Amy and Rory's bedroom.

Jenny frowned and looked at her mum as she walked with her. "I thought there was a rule they had with the Doctor?"

"Jenny this is the Doctor we're talking about." The Time Lady pointed out, sighing as she walked up behind the Doctor while he slapped a hand over his eyes and cried out in disgust: "Argh!" He removed his hand, his eyes still closed for a second while Amy squeaked and pulled the covers over herself a little more. "Stop everything!"

"What's going on?" Rory groggily asked.

"Doctor!" Amy announced. "Bedroom!"

"We have a rule about the bedroom," Rory added with a glare at the Time Lady.

Don't look at me" She held her hands up. "I wasn't the one bursting in."

"No one on this planet is safe right now." The Doctor cut in, looking at the two humans. "We have to solve this before it's too late. Get your clothes on." He looked at them. "If we move fast we at least stand a chance," the two looked back at him in confusion and he sighed, "and you have no idea what I'm talking about, do you?"

"No." Amy and Rory both replied simultaneously.
"No." The Doctor agreed, nodding his head. "Helmic regulator again. Too early. Wrong point. As you were." He waved his arms about and backed out of the room, bumping into the Stone, making him jump in the process.

"Doctor, you can't just go like that." Amy narrowed her eyes. "What's happening? Don't we need to know?"

The Stone gave the Doctor a warning look before nodding at him and watching as the Time Lord giddily ran over to the Ponds bed, setting himself down onto the edge of it.

"Popped up in the wrong order. Easy mistake to make." He explained. "Nothing to alarm you. Forget we were ever here. We'll be back soon enough, I would have thought. Everything's fine, pretty much. Don't worry about the future. The future is really..." He looked at the Stone who shrugged.

"Safe?" She added.

The Doctor nodded, pointing at her for a moment before turning to Amy and Rory and pointing at them. "Really, really, safe." He smiled and turned around. "Sleep well." The Time Lord added as he walked past the Stone who rolled her eyes and gave the Ponds an apologetic smile before she and Jenny followed the Doctor down the corridor and into the TARDIS.

"I really hate it when he does that." Rory looked over at Amy, his eyes closed slightly from tiredness.

Amy slowly nodded her head. "Shame the Stone didn't stop him." She grumbled.

---

Time went on for Amy and Rory in their domestic life, it soon reached the month of June and the Time Lords were nowhere in sight.

"Whoa!" Rory gasped as he opened the door to the bathroom to go to the toilet. Rory quickly shut the door and closed his eyes, leaning against the door.

Completely oblivious to the situation Amy walked down the hall and stepped in front of Rory and raised a brow at him. "Out of the way, Mister Pond." Rory shook his head and Amy frowned. "What? Why not?"

Without saying a word Rory slowly opened the door and the two humans stared as an Ood sat on the toilet and blinked at them. "May I be of any assistance?" It asked.

"Ood on the loo." Rory muttered.

"Yeah," Amy replied, eyes locked on the creature sitting on her toilet.

---

The Doctor sat under the console, sitting in the harness next to the Stone. "Ood!" He exclaimed through the phone as he made another message on the answer phone. "Yes, I was wondering where he'd got to. I thought he'd just gone for a walk in the TARDIS." He looked at the Stone and grimaced when the Time Lady gave him an annoyed look.   "Must have wandered off when I popped in the other night." He frowned. "If it was the other night."

The Stone shook her head. "You know, I rescued him from the middle of the Androvax conflict." The Time Lord rambled. "I was taking him back to the Ood Sphere. Anyway, he's not being a nuisance, is he?"

Rory picked up the phone. "Doctor? He seems to think that he's our butler."

"He's conditioned to serve. The best thing is, let him do just that. We'll come and pick him up tonight." He frowned for a moment. "Whenever tonight is." An alarm started to blare and the Stone groaned. "Oh no, got to go. Power drain's threatening to cause the TARDIS to implode."

"Jenny!" The Stone shouted running up the stairs.

"Oh no, that's bad." The Doctor commented before hanging up.

---

While the Doctor the Stone and Jenny were stuck on the TARDIS due to the helmic regulator still not correctly working, Amy and Rory were arguing, every day until neither of them could take it any more and Rory left the Pond house.

The Ponds needed their Time Lords more than ever.
