Asylum of the Daleks - Two
Its almost been four weeks since I last published for this book! I'm so sorry, A Crack in Time has been taking up a lot of my free time, I've been writing a lot for that book recently, it's time to go back now to my favourite Time Lord duo, the Doctor and the Stone!
-----
The Stone quietly walked around the next chamber, Jenny and Rory behind her. They smoothly walked around calmly before Rory accidentally kicked a piece of metal.
The threes eyes widened when one of the Dalek eyepieces started to glow.
"Shush." Rory tried to stop it which only made them all boot up. The Dalek made a small noise. "What?" Rory asked. "Sorry, what?"
"Eg" it tried to speak again. "eg eg eg eg eg eg."
"Eggs?" Rory asked pointing to one of the roundels on the Daleks casting. One sat on the floor. "You mean those things?"
"Rory." The Store warned.
"Egg."
"I don't, I don't know what you want." He shrugged. "Those things. Are those things eggs?"
"Egg. Stir. Min. Ate." It then said. Rory stepped back
"Exterminate."
They all began to chant now. "Exterminate." One of them blasted just missing the three.
"Time to go..." the Stone grabbed Rory.
"Emergency. Emergency. Exterminate. Exterminate."
"Run!" Soufflé girl shouted through the speaker. "The door at the end, run for it. They're waking up, but they're slow. The door at the end. Just run. Now! Now! Now!"
"I agree!" The Stone nodded also grabbing Jenny. "Come on." They ran towards the door.
"Exterminate." The Daleks chanted. "Exterminate." Dalek lasers shot past the three, they dodged them as they ran to the door that slid up just as they got to it. Jenny rolled through it first followed by Rory who skidded under and then the Stone.
"So, anyway, I'm Oswin." The woman said as the door shut. "The ginger must be the Stone." The Time Lady raised a brow. "What do I call you two?"
"I'm Jenny." The blonde answered.
"Er, I can't remember." Rory groaned rubbing his head. "Er, Rory."
"How do you know my name?" The Time Lady questioned.
"Chinny mentioned you."
"Of course." The Stone chuckled rolling her eyes.
"Lovely name, Rory," Oswin commented. "First boy I ever fancied was called Rory."
"Okay."
"Actually, she was called Nina," Oswin added. "I was going through a phase. Just flirting to keep you cheerful."
"Speaking of flirting." The Stone said looking at Rory. "What happened with you and Amy."
"We split up." He replied shrugging. She gave him a pointed look. "She kicked me out."
"Do you know why?"
"Exterminate." A Dalek called.
"Can we not talk about this now, please, Stone."
"No, we will, tell me, Williams.
"Exterminate."
"I don't think this is the time mum!" Jenny shouted.
---
The Doctor and Amy continued to climb down the ladder. "So tell me." Amy began. "What's going to happen to me?" The Doctor opened his mouth to speak. "And don't lie. Because I know when you're lying to me and I will definitely fall on you."
"The air all around is full of micro-machines. Robots the size of molecules. Nanogenes. Now that you're unprotected, you're being re-written."
"So, what happens?" Amy asked. "I get one of those things sticking out of my head?"
"Physical changes come later." The Doctor said stepping off the ladder.
"What comes first?" She questioned. "How does it start?"
"With your mind. Your feelings, your memories, and I'm sorry but it's started already."
"How do you know?"
The Doctor grew grim. "Because we've had this conversation four times."
"Okay." Amy paused for a moment. "Scared now."
"Hang on to scared." The Doctor replied. "Scared isn't Dalek."
---
"Hey there, beakie boy, blondie and beanie," Oswin called while the three walked through the asylum.
"If it's a straight choice, I prefer Nina."
"And I prefer Jenny not 'blondie'." The blonde added.
"Call me what you like." The Stone shrugged. "Just try not to make my husband jealous, he'll start to whine."
"Loving this," Oswin said the grin practically visible through how happy she sounded. "The nose and the chin. You two could fence. There's a door behind you." It then rose. The three then headed into a small room with a large round platform in the middle.
"Okay, you're safe for now," Oswin informed. "Pop your shirt off then Nina, quick as you like."
Jenny gawked. "What!?"
"You can as well if you want." Oswin chuckled and Jenny blushed.
The Stone sighed. It was like Captain Jack all over again.
"Why?" Rory asked raising a brow.
"Does there have to be a reason?" Oswin questioned.
Jenny chuckled looking around. "I like you Oswin." She grinned.
"You too."
---
The Doctor heard the Daleks screeching over each other, getting louder and louder as they went. "I think we're close dear."
"Good." She grimly replied panicking him. "We're fine." She reassured practically hearing him radiating his panic to her through there telepathic conversation. "Oswin is just flirting with Jenny a little bit."
"Ah." He chuckled.
"She's taking after you."
"I do not flirt with other people." He protested.
"Marilyn Munro."
"I didn't flirt with her!" He protested.
"I know." She smirked. "Just teasing you sweetheart. It really doesn't take much to wind you up."
"I hate you sometimes."
"You didn't say that the other night."
"Oh hush you." He rolled his eyes. "You're such a flirt."
The Stone chuckled. "Guilty as charged."
"What's that?" Amy asked hearing the screeching of the Daleks.
The Doctor didn't reply, slowly backing away before he took off in a run, Amy following closely behind.
They continued to run before they ran into a new corridor. "Keep a lookout." He ordered. "Don't open this door. Oswin!"
Amy groaned touching her head.
"Oswin, can you hear me?"
"Hello, the chin. I have visual on you."
"Why don't I have a visual on you?" The Doctor asked. "Why can't I ever see you?"
"Limited power, bad hair and I hear that you have a wife, take your pick." The Doctor shrugged a little. She had a fair point but this wasn't a place for jokes to be made. "There's a door to your left. Open it."
The Doctor did as he was told and a screen buzzed to life. "I'm going to send you a map to that screen. I put your friend and your family somewhere safe." She informed. "I can get you to them."
"Rory." The Doctor blinked. He had an idea that the Stone and Jenny were with him. "You found Rory and the Stone and Jenny?"
"I call him Nina." Oswin corrected while the Doctor mouthed the name questioningly. "Personal thing. Hush now."
The Doctor eyed the little dots on the map. "How many Daleks directly ahead of me right now?"
"Ten, twenty. Hard to say. Some of them are catatonic but they do have firepower."
"How do I get past them?" He asked. The Doctor glanced at where Amy was or perhaps meant to be. "Amy!"
"Shush." She protested. "It's okay, it's just people in here. It's just people."
"Amy, it's the nanocloud, it's altering your perception." He said stepping forward. "Look again." She shook her head. "Look again. Those aren't people."
She froze now seeing what they really were. "Amy, come out." He ordered holding a hand out. "Take my hand." A Dalek then powered up. "Run! Run!"
They both sprinted back to the ladder, the Dalek slowly moving towards them, the ladder slowly shaking with each step the Dalek skeletons took as they descended from the escape pod. "Look, they're coming down!" She shouted.
"Er, oh yes, they are." The Doctor nodded.
"Intruder." The Dalek stated.
"Run." The Doctor pushed Amy ahead.
"Intruder." They ran to a cubby hole Oswin opened up for them. "Intruder."
"It's damaged." The Doctor poked his head out and then stepped in front of the Dalek that had no gun attached to it.
"Okay, but what do we do?"
"Identify me." The Doctor ordered stepping towards it. A dark look in his eyes. "Access your files. Who am I? Come on. Who's your daddy?"
"You are the Predator."
"Access your standing orders concerning the Predators."
"The Predators must be destroyed." The Dalek resisted.
"And how are you going to do that, Dalek?" The Doctor said trying not to laugh at it. "Without a gun, you're a tricycle with a roof. How are you going to destroy me?"
It felt far longer than a couple of seconds between the Doctor giving the Dalek a deathly stare and his question. "Self-destruct initiated." The pepper pot stated.
"What's it doing?" Amy questioned while the Doctor brought out his screwdriver flashing it at the Dalek.
"It's going to blow itself up, and I with it." The head of the Dalek popped free, allowing the Doctor to scan under it. "Only weapon it's got left."
"Self-destruct cannot be countermanded."
"I'm not looking for a countermand." The Doctor informed it. "I'm looking for reverse." He grinned stepping back when the Dalek started to wizz backwards.
"Forward." The Dalek screeched. "Forward."
---
Jenny's head shot up from where it was lying against the Stone's shoulder after an explosion erupted the room. They had been waiting for exactly 17 minutes and 36 seconds. Oswin didn't respond when the Stone told her that she would be able to find the Doctor and didn't need to wait. The woman didn't listen though and repeatedly informed the ginger that it was easier for them to stick together. Granted she was correct there but she didn't need to worry about the Time Lady.
"What was that?" Rory asked Oswin. "That was close." He jumped up when a door slid open.
"Dad?" Jenny muttered looking at the Stone questioningly. The ginger Time Lady nodded in confirmation. "If I know anything about my husband it is that he likes to make a lot of noise."
---
Rory ran into the chamber, the remains of Daleks scattered around with smoke rising up.
"Oswin? What happened?" Rory asked. "Who killed all the Daleks?"
A figure silhouette appeared through the smoke and the Doctor stepped out, covered in smoke and carrying Amy. "Who do you think?" He said slightly smirking.
---
The Doctor laid Amy on the teleport pad. Jenny handed the Stone a blanket she found in her bigger on the inside pockets. The Time Lady nodded and laid it over the sleeping ginger.
"Will sleeping help her?" Rory asked looking worried. "Will it slow down the process?"
"You'd better hope so because pretty soon she's going to try and kill you." Oswin's voice filled the room.
"Not helping Oswin." The Stone said her arms crossed.
"Sorry." She apologised.
Amy stirred a little and the Doctor lightly tapped her. "Amy."
"Ow." She groaned.
"Amy. Still with us."
Rory leaned over the Doctors shoulder. "Amy, it's me. Do you remember me?" She slapped Rory. "She remembers me." He winced.
"Same old Amy." The Time Lords chuckled.
"Do you know how you make someone into a Dalek?" Oswin asked. "Subtract love, add anger. Doesn't she seem a bit too angry to you?"
"Well, somebody's never been to Scotland."
"But what about you Oswin?" Jenny spoke up. "How come you're okay?"
"Jenny has a point." The Doctor nodded. "Why hasn't the nanocloud converted you?"
"I mentioned the genius thing, yeah? Shielded in here."
"That is clever of you." The Stone noted.
"Now, this place. The Daleks said it was fully automated. Look at it. It's a wreck."
"Well, I've had nearly a year to mess with them, and not a lot else to do."
"A junior entertainment manager hiding out in a wrecked ship, hacking the security systems of the most advanced warrior race the universe has ever seen." The Doctor crossed his arms. He didn't trust her much and the Stone could clearly see that. "But you know what really gets me about you, Oswin? The soufflés. Where do you get milk for the soufflés?" He raised a brow as Amy and Rory blinked. "Seriously. Is no one else wondering about that?"
"No. Frankly, no. Twice."
"So, Doctor. I've been looking you and your wife up." Oswin announced making the Time Lords raise a brow. "You're all over the database. Why do the Daleks call you the Predators?"
"We're not the Predators, we're just two people with a plan."
"You've got a plan?" Oswin asked him.
Rory laughed. "That's all he is."
"There's a nose joke going if someone wants to pick that one-off." Oswin said. The Stone and Jenny chuckled.
"In no particular order, we need to neutralise all the Daleks in this Asylum, rescue Oswin from the wreckage, escape from this planet and fix Amy and Rory's marriage."
"Okay, I'm counting three lost causes," Amy stated looking around. "Anyone else?"
"Oswin, there's a Dalek ship in orbit." The Stone ignored Amy's comment.
"Yes. Got it on the sensors."
"The Asylum has a forcefield." Jenny cut in. "The Daleks upstairs are waiting for dad to turn it off. Soon as he does, they'll burn this whole world and us with it."
"So, Oswin, mine, my wife's and my daughters question is this:" the Doctor glanced at the two who nodded in agreement. They each knew the plan. "How fast can you drop the forcefield?"
"Pretty fast," Oswin answered. "But why would I?"
"Because this is a teleport." The Stone replied lightly tapping her foot on the white ring of light that illuminated the floor in a ring. Wires and switches on show from what looked like plastic in the center. "Am I right, Oswin?"
"Yeah. Internal use only."
"So I can boost the power. Once the forcefield is down, The Stone and I can use it to beam us right off this planet."
"You said when the forcefield is down, the Daleks will blow us up."
"Well we'll have to be quick." The Stone shrugged.
"Fine, we'll be quick. But where do we beam to?" Amy asked.
"The only place within range," Jenny answered. "The Dalek ship."
Amy looked at the blonde hoping that she was joking. "But they'll exterminate us on the spot."
"Ah, so this is the kind of escape plan where you survive about four seconds longer." Rory nodded.
"What's wrong with four seconds?" Jenny frowned. "You can do loads in four seconds."
"Do people ever tell you that you sometimes sound exactly like the Doctor?" Rory asked Jenny.
The Doctor blinked. "Does she?"
"Did you not just hear what she said?" The Stone chuckled. "Oswin, how fast can you drop the forcefield?"
"I can do it from here, as soon as you come and get me."
"No, just drop the forcefield and come to us." The Doctor protested.
"There's enough power in that teleport for one go. Why would you wait for me?"
"Why wouldn't we?"
"No idea." She replied. "Never met you. Sending you a map so you can come get me."
"This place is crawling with Daleks." Rory reminded them.
"Yeah. Kind of why I'm anxious to leave." She reminded. "Come up and see me sometime."
"So, are we going to go get her?" Rory asked looking between the Time Lords.
"I don't think that we have a choice." The Doctor shrugged. "Okay, as soon as the forcefield is down the Daleks will attack. If it gets too explody-wody in here, you go without us? okay?"
"And leave you two to die?"
"Three." Jenny corrected.
"No." The Stone shook her head. "You need to stay here with Amy and Rory.
"I'm yours and the Doctors daughter, I think my life isn't less dangerous than this."
"No Jenny." The Doctor warned. "You're staying here where it is safe."
"Dad do I have to remind you that I've helped to save Earth from an alien race trying to use Children as drugs before?"
"What?" He frowned.
"The 465." She replied. "I'm not going anywhere unless it's with you or mum. I only just found you guys and I'm not leaving you again."
The Doctor sighed and looked at his wife. Pouting at her ever so slightly. Of course she would be harder to convince. It was his stubborn wife after all. "Okay fine." She groaned.
"Brilliant." The Doctor grinned taking a hand each. "Running with my two favourite girls, what more could I ask for?"
"Not being in a Dalek asylum?" Jenny guessed.
"Damn." He muttered. "You got me there."
"So now instead of two of you dying and leaving us in a Dalek asylum it is now three."
"Oh, don't worry about us." The Doctor patted his back for a moment. "You're going to be beamed up to a Dalek ship to get exterminated."
"Fair point. Love this plan." He muttered. "What about Amy?"
"Keep her remembering, keep her focused. That'll hold back the conversion." He answered.
"What do I do?"
"Amy you heard what Oswin said." Jenny knelt down beside her to explain. "They're subtracting love so don't let them."
---
The Time Lords carefully made their way through the corridors. "Emergency. Emergency." A Dalek stated as they headed past. Thankfully chained up so it couldn't escape with no gun. "Prepare to be annihilated. Emergency. We are the Daleks. We are the Daleks."
---
Rory sighed. "Okay, look at me. I'm going to be logical. Cold and logical, okay? For both of our sakes, for both of us, I'm going to take this off my wrist and put it on yours."
Amy spun around to look at him. "Why? Then it'll just start converting you. That's not better."
"Yes, but it'll buy us time because it'll take longer with me."
"Sorry, what?" Amy blinked at him confused.
"It subtracts love, that's what she said."
"What's that got to do with it?" She asked. "What does that even mean?"
"It's arithmetic. It'll take longer with me because we both know, we've always known, that." He sighed. "Amy, the basic fact of our relationship is that I love you more than you love me, which today is good news because it might just save both of our lives."
Amy laughed a little, she honestly couldn't believe he was saying this to her. "How can you say that?"
"Two thousand years, waiting for you outside a box." He stated. "Don't say it isn't true, you know it's true. Give me your arm. Amy!"
"Don't you dare say that to me." She shouted slapping him right across the face before pointing at his large nose. "Don't you ever dare."
"Amy, you kicked me out." He protested.
"You want kids." She suddenly sobbed. "You have always wanted kids. Ever since you were a kid. And I can't have them."
"I know."
"Whatever they did to me at Demons Run, I can't ever give you children. I didn't kick you out. I gave you up."
"Amy, I don't-"
She cut him off shaking her head. "Don't you dare talk to me about waiting outside a box, because that is nothing, Rory, nothing, compared to giving you up."
"Just give me your arm." He went to grab for her. "Let me put this on you. Just give me your arm!"
"Don't touch me!" She shouted.
Rory froze when he felt the cool metal touch his fingertips. "It's the Doctor's." When you were sleeping."
Amy let out a watery laugh and shook her head glancing down at the wristband. "That Time Lord. What's the betting he doesn't even need it."
"Why didn't he just tell us?" Rory asked as Amy watched the Doctor straighten his bowtie as he passed through the corridor. His face on the monitor before it disappeared, the Stone and Jenny then followed grinning to themselves knowing that Amy and Rory were watching them by now.
---
"Oswin." The Doctor whispered. "I think we're close."
"You are. Less than twenty feet away. Which is the good news."
"And the bad news?" Jenny questioned.
"You're about to pass through Intensive Care."
The Doctor swallowed hard and took the Stones hand. Jenny took his other and softly smiled reminding him that it wasn't just he and the Stone anymore. Even after a what felt like a couple of months for them he still forgot.
They stepped through the door and slowly walked through the dark room, Daleks in separate cages, some of them only in chains.
"What's so special about this lot, then?" The Stone questioned glancing at the Daleks.
"Don't know," Oswin replied. "Survivors of particular wars: Spiridon, Kembel, Eridius, Vulcan, Exxilon. Ringing any bells?"
"All of them." The Doctor and the Stone replied. Jenny looked between her parents.
"Yeah? How?" Oswin asked.
"These are the Daleks who survived us." The Doctor grimaced.
"Doctor." One of the Daleks spoke, having woken up. The Stone froze, they were savages who wouldn't stop at anything knowing that the Time Lords were in their asylum.
"Stone." Another one of the Daleks croaked.
"Doctor, Stone."
"That's weird," Oswin muttered. "Those ones don't usually wake up for anything."
"Yeah, well special visitors." The Doctor shrugged, finding himself growing more nervous the longer he was in the room. Jenny tried to open the door, the Stone then flashed her sonic at it but nothing worked.
"Okay, door, but it won't open." The Stone said.
"We can't be far away, though," Jenny added.
"Hang on." Oswin tried to open it. "Not quite sure. There's a release code. Let me just anything out there?"
"No."
"Hang on, I'm trying to think."
"Doctor." The Dalek croaked out.
"Dad," Jenny whispered stepping closer to him as the chains holding the Dalek back snapped.
"Oswin, door now." The Stone ordered stepping in front of Jenny, making sure she was the closest to the door. The Doctor did the same grasping the Stones hand.
"Stone, Doctor, Stone."
"Oswin, get this door open." The Doctor snapped.
"Oswin please!" Jenny cried out.
"I can't!" She protested. Another Dalek broke free of its chains and started to close in one the Time Lords.
"Oswin, just get this door open!" The Doctor Ordered.
"Help us!" The Stone shouted tightly grasping the Doctor, now hiding her face into his neck, her stomach pressed up against his, hands around his back as he did the same holding her, if this was their end then it would be done together while still trying to protect Jenny. If the door did move up in time then at least she would be safe.
"Stop!" Jenny screeched. She then blinked when the Daleks all stopped and turned away.
"Oh, that is cool." Oswin happily cut in.
The Stone let out a sigh and tightly hugged her daughter. The Doctor kissed both of their foreheads. "What did you do?" Jenny asked.
"Hang on, I think I've found the door thingy."
"No, tell us what you did."
"The Daleks, they have a hive mind. Well, they don't, they have a sort of telepathic web."
"The path web." The Doctor and the Stone nodded. "Yes."
"I hacked into it, did a mass delete on all the information connected with the Doctor and the Stone."
"You made them forget us?" The Doctor looked at the Stone who was quiet surprised.
"Good, eh? And here comes the door."
"But I've tried hacking into the path web." The Stone frowned while the door opened. "Even I couldn't do it."
They could almost sense Oswin smirking. "Come and meet the girl who can."
They turned around just as the final door rose.
"Oh no," Jenny whispered to her parents, a hand flying to her mouth from my shock. "She's-"
"She is..." the Stone looked down at her shoes. She never thought it was possible but the Time Lady actually felt sorry for a Dalek. Oswin didn't deserve this and definitely didn't understand pr realise what happened to hee. She blocked it out and now the Time Lords hd to tell her. The Doctor swallowed hard and stared at the brow metal creature inside the room, stuck in chains that no doubt wouldn't hold.
"Stay by the door, Jenny." He ordered his daughter.
"Hey, you're right outside." The high pitched Dalek voice told them. "Come on in."
"Oswin." The Stone rose her head slowly shaking it. "We have a problem."
"No, we don't." The Dalek told her. "Don't even say that. Joined the Alaska to see the universe, ended up stuck in a shipwreck first time out. Rescue me, chin boy, beanie, and show me the stars."
"Oswin..." Jenny whispered. "Does it look real to you?"
"Does what look real?"
"Jenny-" the Doctor warned.
"Where you are right now." The blonde Time Lady asked ignoring her father. "Does it seem real?"
"It is real."
"Jenny is right." The Doctor slowly nodded. "It's a dream, Oswin. You dreamed it for yourself because the truth was too terrible."
"Where am I?" It asked, repeating itself. "Where am I? Where am I?"
The Stone swallowed hard, not sure how Oswin would take it when she realised what she was. The pain and grief flooding her all at once. Something supposedly impossible for a pepper pot. "Because you are a Dalek."
"I am not a Dalek." It said before screeching: "I am not a Dalek!" Oswin calmed down slightly. "I'm human."
"You were human when you crashed here. It was you who climbed out of the pod. That was your ladder."
"You mean Human."
Jenny slowly shook her head. "Not anymore. Because you're right. You're a genius. And the Daleks need genius."
"They didn't just make you a puppet, they did a full conversion." The Doctor added.
"Oswin, I am so sorry, but you are a Dalek." Jenny bowed her head in sadness. The Doctor gently squeezed his daughter's shoulder. He understood why she was so sad. Jenny was smart and so was Oswin. She just wanted to have a friend just as smart as her because there was only so much time she could handle it being just her and her parents.
"The milk, Oswin," the Doctor said, "the milk and the eggs for the souffléss. Where, where did it all come from"
"Eggs..." it whispered. "I'm human. I am not a Dalek, I am human." It protested shouting again. "I am not Dalek, I am human!" There was then silence. "Eggs..."
"It wasn't real. It was never real."
"Eggs..."
"Dad..." Jenny's eyes widened understanding what Oswin was going to say.
"Stir. Min. Ate."
"Oswin." The Doctor stepped back.
"Eggs. Stir. Min ate." It grew quicker and broke its chains, slowly making its way towards the Time Lords. "Exterminate."
"Oswin." The Stone held out a hand to plead her to stop. "No, no, no, Oswin. Oswin."
"Exterminate!" It shouted.
"Listen. Oswin, you don't have to do this."
Oswin however, ignored the Doctors plead. "Exterminate!" The Dalek was now forcing the Doctor to be pressed up again the door, the Stone tightly held Jenny as they stood pushing themselves into the corner of the door. Jenny hiding her head in the Stones neck not wanting to watch. "Oswin!"
They heard the Dalek sound like it was crying. "Why do they hate you two so much?" She asked. "They hate you so much. Why?"
"We fought them many, many times."
"We have grown stronger in fear of you," Oswin told them.
"I know." The Doctor bowed his head in shame. "I tried to stop."
"Then run."
Jenny's head shot up. "What did you say?"
"I've taken down the forcefield. The Daleks above have begun their attack. Run!"
"Oswin, are you..." the Doctor stared at the Dalek shell. The door behind them rose up.
"I am Oswin Oswald. I fought the Daleks and I am human!" The Dalek shouted proudly. "Remember me."
"Thank you." They nodded.
"Run!"
The Doctor smiled and grabbed the Stones hand the two of them sprinted out.
"Thank you Oswin," Jenny whispered smiling.
"Go Jenny. Run, my friends, and remember..."
"Jenny!" The Doctor shouted making the blonde blink, widely grin and take off.
They raced there way back to the teleport, the whole asylum shook with dust falling all around them. "Right, go!" The Doctor shouted for Amy and Rory who already looked quite busy in their kiss. "Let's go. We're good. Let's go." He groaned. "Oh, for God's sake."
"If you expect them to get our attention when we're in the middle of something good luck getting anything out of them." The Stone laughed.
Jenny snorted at her mother who grabbed the controls and pressed the button.
"Oswin." The Doctor grinned seeing that they had teleported inside the TARDIS.
"Explain, Dalek supreme." They heard the Dalek PM order.
"You know, you guys should really have seen this coming." The Stone said into a microphone attached to the TARDIS console. "The thing about my husband and teleports is that he has got a really good aim." She smirked. "Pin-point accurate, in fact."
The Doctor grabbed the mic. "Or, to put it another way..." He placed it back. "Dear, Jenny?"
They ran to the doors with him. "Suckers!" They all poked their heads out laughing.
"Identify yourselves." The PM ordered. "Identify. Identify."
"It's us." The Doctor frowned. "You at least know me and my wife. "The Doctor and the Stone. The Oncoming Storm and the woman who could be as cold as stone."
"Or just the Predators." The Time Lady shrugged.
"Oh and this is our daughter Jenny." The Doctor gestured to the blonde who waved to them all.
"Titles are not meaningful in this context," Darla stated, "Doctor who?"
"Doctor who?" The Dalek PM asked. "What Stone?"
"Doctor who?"
"Oh, Oswin." Jenny chuckled. "You did it to them all."
"Doctor who?" They chanted. "What Stone?"
The Doctor grinned saluting them all. "Fellas, you're never going to stop asking."
"Lovely to see you again pepper pots." The Stone laughed heading inside. "Come on Jenny."
"Bye!" The blonde waved. "Nice to meet you all!"
---
Amy and Rory waved goodbye as the TARDIS dematerialised. They stared at each other for a moment before the ginger smirked and headed inside. "Yes!" Rory cheered. "Yes!"
"I can see you." Amy reminded grinning.
"Okay."
---
Back in the TARDIS The Doctor twirled the Stone around before he grinned and they both jumped down the stairs. Jenny giggled at her parents who continued to dance around one another as they set the coordinates for their next destination.
