22- Love

some big fluff here guys, it's gonna be really cute.

"Cmon Delilah, gotta get you up." Luke hums in his most gentle, loving, and sleepy voice.

Delilah doesn't answer, pouting slightly and shoving her face into her daddy's bare chest as he lays beside her still.

"Babygirl..." Luke hums, smiling fondly.

"Mm." Delilah whines in protest as Luke gently sits her up. "No up. Bad dada." She argues almost incoherently.

"We're gonna go see nana and papa and uncles, and some of daddy's cousins. Isn't that fun? Are you happy, babydoll?"

"Baby bed." Delilah glares tiredly at the broad blonde.

"No, baby can't go to bed. Cmon little girl, get up." Luke coaxes the little one. He stands from the bed, lifting her onto his hip, and carries her to her nursery as she tries to sleep on his shoulder.

"Can you say 'go see nana' sweet love?"

"Go see nana." Delilah obeys, smiling softly and looking into Luke's pretty blue eyes with her own sparkling bright green ones.

"How about 'go see papa'?"

"Go see papa." She continues to repeat Luke as he sets her on her changing table.

"Go see uncles?" Luke offers as he goes to Delilah's closet.

"No, daddy! No you! Baby wan!" Delilah whines, pointing at her closet.

"Baby what? You wanna pick your own clothes, doll?"

"Es Daddy, baby pick."

"Can you say 'I wanna pick'?"

"I wan pick. Baby pick!"

"Ok princess, you can pick." Luke chuckles, helping the little one slide down off the table and scurry over to her closet.

"Go see uncles." She says, grinning back at her daddy, who chuckles.

Delilah briefly thinks about the new word daddy had her say, 'I'. He seems to have lots of names for her. Baby, babygirl, princess, doll, and many more, now 'I'. why does he refer to her so many ways? She wonders. He knows her name, but he only calls her that when she's in trouble.

She shrugs it off as she looks through her clothes.

But, come to think of it, daddy seems to have a few names too. She realizes with a head tilt, that her and him are the only two who she thinks she's ever heard call him daddy.

Wait, no. That's not right. Nana has called him daddy, and Delilah knows that nana is daddy's mom. But Liz also calls him 'luke' most of the time. Uncles have called him daddy too, but only when they talk to her. Not when they talk to daddy. So no one but her and daddy ever call the man daddy to his face. So what's his real name?

Delilah pauses her searching and frowns, turning to the blonde who's watching her amusedly.

"Are you having a hard time picking, sweetheart? You want daddy to help?" Delilah shakes her head. The tall man raises an eyebrow.

"Luke?" Delilah asks, and he tilts his head, confused, and chuckles. The black haired little one reaches her arms up to be picked up, and Luke obliges.

"Luke?" Delilah says again, putting a hand on the hard chest to make her point.

"Yes Cutie. I'm Luke." He grins at her realization and confusion, wondering what made her think is this all the sudden. He loves watching her learn. "Just like you're Delilah."

Delilah lets out a somewhat frustrated sigh. "Daddy?" Again, she places her hand on his chest.

"I'm daddy, too. But I'm only your daddy." He tries to clear up the little ones confusion.

Delilah tilts her head adorably. She puts her hand on her own chest and says "Delilah." Then on Luke's. "Luke?"

"Mhm." Luke nods and smiles.

Delilah smiles too. Then her hand goes to her own chest again. "Baby." Back to Luke's. "Daddy."

Luke's grin widens. "Your daddy. My baby." Luke copies the gesture.

Delilah repeats the words. "Your daddy, my baby?"

"Well, you would say, 'my daddy, your baby' but I don't quite know how to explain that to you so you'll understand." He chuckles.

"My daddy, your baby." Luke nods, pecking the little ones lips and setting her down.

"We need to get you dressed, dolly."

"Dessed." Delilah mumbles, smiling and turning back to the clothes.

She picks out a pair of white suspender shorts and a baby blue t shirt with light pink writing that says 'peachy'. Luke helps her change into the outfit and put on some large thigh high socks, with two light pink stripes at the top, and baby blue converse.

"Are you gonna let daddy do your hair?" Luke asks, grabbing a hairbrush.

"Hmm." Delilah says skeptically. She turns to the mirror and pulls the top half up, separating it into two halves, and leaving a few strands out at the front, then turn to er daddy to show him, this is what she wants.

"Pees?"

"I can do that, sweet love." Luke smiles, taking the piece she's holding and neatening it up a bit before pony tailing it, then moves to the next side. Luke chuckles, it kinda looks like little puppy ears.

"Is that good, pretty girl?"

"Ed dada." She grins. "A-an- uhhhh..." She struggles for the word she's looking for.

"Are you trying to say Thankyou, little love?" Luke smiles brightly.

"Tankoo Daddy." Delilah leans up to peck Luke's lips.

"Aw, Look at my good little girl and her wonderful manners. Daddy loves you so much, Delilah." Luke holds the little girls chin as he speaks. He puts one hand over her heart as he says, "Can you say love?"

"Love." Delilah repeats, putting her hand over Luke's heart as well.

"I love you." Luke smiles.

"I love you, daddy." Delilah says, tone and face serious, "Uvoo." She giggles at her shortened version.

"Se agapó." Delilah says, looking Luke in the eyes. Luke frowns, confused. He imagines she's speaking in her first language, but how should he know what she's saying?

The thought makes him feel guilty, Delilah has learned a vast amount of his language, he could stand to pick up a few words of hers.

"Daddy, say 'Se agapó'." Delilah coaxes.

"S-se ag uh pole?" Delilah giggles at his attempt, trying again slower.

"Se aga pó." She repeats, slow and annunciated.

"Se agapole?" Delilah smiles.

"Po. Go. Po." She tries to make clear the pronunciation.

"Okay, Po, I think I got it. Se agapó." Delilah nods and grins widely squealing a bit and lurching forward to kiss Luke again.

"Se agapó. I love you." Delilah says, and Luke says the sentence back.

An- guys I just picked some random language to do this cute lol fluff in, this is Greek, and it's possible this is wrong, google translate isn't all that wonderful, but I had originally intended for her language to be like Hebrew or something really old that people don't hardly ever know and that's why no one knew what she was speaking, so let's just pretend, okay? Okay thanks.

Luke grins, pecking his babies cheek before scooping her up and carrying her downstairs, heart swelled up with love and joy.

"What do you want for breakfast, pretty baby?" Delilah hums at the question, burying her face in Luke's neck with an overjoyed smile. She nips at his shoulder a bit, and Luke pulls her away. "Don't bite me!" He chuckles,

"Nums." Delilah giggles.

"I'll get you something for breakfast, but you can't eat daddy!"

Delilah giggles and Luke opens the fridge and freezer. "Daddy!" Delilah squeals as she sees icecream.

"No, not for breakfast." Luke chuckles, making the small girl on his side whine.

"Waffles?"

"Ya." Delilah sighs, so Luke gets out the toaster and the frozen waffles.

The two eat their waffles, Luke's with peanut butter and Delilah's with syrup.

"Ok little love, lets get this sticky off you and then we'll go." Luke says, washing his girls fave and hands with baby wipes and setting her down in front of cartoons while he packs her a bag.

Delilah copies the words the characters say to the best of her abilities as she waits for her daddy.

"Daddy! Go!" She whines. Luke is taking much too long.

She gets no answer, so she huffs. "Daddy! DADDY!"

"Calm down, little girl, daddy is almost done." Luke chuckles at his impatient little brat.

"Daddy go!" Delilah whines again. Luke continues to pack as she whines.

"Daddyyyyyy!" The little one pretends to cry, making Luke frown and turn around. He rolls his eyes when he sees that she's totally faking it.

"Be good, Delilah. Are you being daddy's good baby?"

"Bean daddy's good baby." Delilah pouts. Luke chuckles and hums.

"Your baby." She smiles and Luke nods.

"My baby."  He reassures.

"Daddy go!" Luke sighs and turns around, throwing momo and a paci at Delilah.

"Be quiet."

"Be quiet." Delilah repeats, sticking the pacifier in her mouth.

"Dydy guh." Delilah mumbles to herself. She look to her little stuffed puppy.

"Momo, Daddy guh. Say daddy guh."

"Okay, Alright Baby, we can go. Put on your shoes please." Luke says as he hands Delilah some baby blue converse.

"Choos. Put on choos." Delilah grins as she sees her baby pink converse in the shoe basket.

She grabs the left light pink one and puts it on, and then puts a baby blue converse on her right foot.

"Daddy! Choos!" Delilah squeals. Luke hums as he ties his own shoes, and when he finally glances over, he laughs.

"Such a silly girl." Luke kisses the little girls lips and scoops her up, putting her dummy back in her lips and taking her to the car.

"What this called, sweet love?"

"Caw." Delilah grins, taking out the sunny and holding it.

"Good job, such a smart baby." Luke says as he straps Delilah in the back, or, he tries.

"No! Daddy! Wif Daddy!" Delilah shrieks, pointing to the front seat.

"Delilah." Luke sighs. "Babies sit in the backseat."

"No! Up wif daddy!"

"Are you a baby, Delilah?" Luke grabs the girls attention.

"Es, dada. Wanna up wif Daddy." She pouts.

"But you're a baby, and babies sit in the back."

Delilah huffs, not giving in.

"Unless you don't wanna be daddy's baby anymore?"

"No, daddy." Delilah gives up. "Daddy's baby." Luke grins and pecks her lips, putting the pacifier in her mouth once more and buckling her up, then goes to the driver seat. Delilah makes grabby hands and Luke raises an eyebrow.

"Do you wanna color, sweet pea?"

"No, daddy. Play."

"You want my phone?"

"Phone! Es dada, pees!"

"No, pretty girl, not right now. Maybe on the way home, if your good."

"Daddyyy!" Delilah protests.

"Do you wanna color?"

"Es." Delilah pouts and takes the items before Luke drives away.
